So I was thinking about how we live on the planets, and I thought"OMG, It'd be so awesome if we had our own house!"  We could have furniture to decorate it and everything, and we could customise what our house looked like on the outside, and be able to visit other houses just like profiles, the house link would be in their profile saying "My house" or something. Any other ideas?

I'm going to be the one to play this card. It really sounds too much like Neopets. I'm pretty against obvious copies of other sites.

I never liked the Neohome stuff on Neopets, and I especially wouldn't like it here. To me, it's a waste of time and money on the player's part. Pretty much the same on the developers part because think of how much art Pat would have to commission for all the furniture and home stuff. Res certainly doesn't have Neo's budget.

I really don't see the point of the homes in the first place either. Maybe I'm just not into all that flashiness.

Well, there must be some purpose to the Furniture store...just a thought.

I'm also against any copies of Viacom-owned Neopets, but Rescreatu is a totally different site. Most of the time on Neopets (for most players) is spent playing flash games. On Rescreatu, it is spent either A) restocking if you're a Merchant, I assume, or B) finding and hatching pets if you're a Rancher.

(Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

However, any "house" or "ranch" portion on Rescreatu would take a LOT of coding, layout, graphics, etc.

Ultimately, it's up to the site owners and how they want to develop and expand the site, as well as their budget.
