"Another day." Lily thought to herself ask she got dressed in her favorite outfit. Lily got extra ready today, today was a special day. She rushed downstairs to find a note on the counter. "I'm going out to the Pokemart to buy some stuff, be back by the time you come home." the note said. It was from mom. Lily knew dad slept in and she quickly grabbed herself a yogurt and packed a lunch. Then she ran out the door into the fresh morning breeze.
She walked into class. Finally she found her seat and saw three, shiny round pokeballs sitting in a case with rose red velvet. One ball was labeled Pidove, one Archen, and one Gothita. She swiftly went to sit down. She found her seat and sat down. "Hmm, Archen or Pidove?" Lily thought to herself. She remembered what an Archen looks like. It seemed like a good pokemon since she had got to meet one in fossil class. It had multi-colored wings and it was pretty cute. She hung out with a Pidove before and she's seen her dad's Gothita when it was young. Hanging out with Pidove was amazing. The wild Pidove had flown everywhere and their stories were very realistic. The choice was pretty hard between Archen and Pidove. She didn't like how Gothita looked or acted. She was peaceful, a little to peaceful for her and when she wasn't quite, she talked, a lot!
Finally, Lily made her final choice, she chose Pidove. She released Pidove and she had feeling that this was a female. Lily thought about a name and chose Breeze. "Your name is, Breeze." she said. "Cool, that sounds like a nice name." Breeze responded in her head. Lily smiled and it seamed to surprise Breeze. "How do you understand my?" Breeze asked. "It is a special power I have." Lily answered. Than Breeze accepted that Lily could understand her.
Lily glanced at the Pokedex. The shiny smooth surface screamed for her to open it. She wasn't sure if she should open it. But, she did know how to open it already. Lily thought back to the e-mail she got a few weeks ago, explaining she would receive a Pokemon, how to release the Pokemon, and how to use the Pokedex. She decide and she opened it. Lily turned it on and the screen lit up.

((No, you don't need to edit it anymore!)) After the whole class had finished choosing their partners, one of your professors started to speak. "This is a Pokedex," he said, holding the same color pokedex you examined a few minutes before. "It is practically a--oh what is it? Nintendo 3ds?--yes, one of your Nintendo game boxes." Your Professor plugged the Pokedex into his computer, letting the whole class see the basic mechanics of registering a Pokemon. He nimbly opened the Pokedex in the same manner that you did. When you get a closer look at the computer screen you can see that the bottom screen was blank, and the top screen was a box with enough room for six Pokemon to be displayed. After setting down the Pokedex for a moment, the Professor called out a Rufflet. "And this is how you register," he said. He then aimed her Pokedex at the Pidgey and pressed the two side buttons once again. A red light scaned the Rufflet, and a picture of it appears in one of the six blank boxes. He then explained that the dex will hold information for all of the Pokemon that you capture, and that you can edit which Pokemon it displays as your party Pokemon manually. "The rest of the controls you have already learned in 'Basic Pokedex Handling', I take it?" he asked, getting a round of nodding in return. "If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!" he finished.

((You get to choose the moves your pokemon gets and the ability. Just keep them reasonable! And don't forget that you can ask the professor some questions! ))

Lily glanced at the Dex and stared at it. She didn't know if she had any questions. "I mean like, there are some questions I have, but the can't be answered." Lily thought. "Well better open this Pokedex and see if I know the controls correctly. Lily turned on the Pokedex and the tiny screen lit up. "Please enter your trainer ID." the Dex said. Lily punched in her trainer ID and the Dex changed to another screen where she could do many things. "I guess that I'll register Breeze. Lily pointed the Dex at Breeze and a second later, the Dex scanned Breeze. "Pidove, The Tiny Pigeon Pokemon. This very forgetful Pokemon will wait for orders even if it already has one." the Dex stated. "Well, your not going to act up, are you?" Lily asked Breeze. "Of course not!" Breeze answered. "OK, let's check your ability and moves." Lily told Breeze. Your egg moves are Steel Wing and Wish. Your regular moves are Tackle and Leer. Your ability is, Big Pecks." Lily exclaimed. Breeze nodded. Lily looked at the clock and it looked like the clock. We've got a little more time to check stats and do some stuff. "I don't have anything else to do with my new Pokedex." Lily said. She put down her Pokedex.

"If you are finished examining the controls of the Pokedex and getting to know your partner, you can head outside, where a graduation party is being held." The professor then exited the class room. Soon, students began pouring out. First one out the door was Hannah, being followed by a male Frillish, who was always hovering no more than a foot away from it's trainer's head. You had never really socialized with her much, so all you knew was that Hannah was addicted to Water-Types. Following her were the twins Jon and Jim, who had Venipede and Sewaddle, respectively. They both had a blatantly obvious crush on Hannah that everyone but Hannah herself knew of. Karen followed a few steps behind, rolling her eyes and carrying a Petilil in her arms. She had been about to go into the hallway when someone blocked her way. Rebecca, the school bully. Both she and her Pawniard took thirty whole seconds to glare at Karen and Petilil before turning around and stalking off. Karen sighed in relief, then continued on her way. You and Breeze were about to follow suit when you hear a boy shout your name. Mike Crisonway. You turn around to see him and his five minute younger sister Majorie calling you over, and a Tepig and an Oshawott playing around their feet.

Lily spun around in a half circle, and stood face to face with Mike and Majorie. Breeze was at her feet, staring intently at the Tepig and Oshawott running around. "Who is this?" Breeze asked, wonderingly. "This is Mike and Majorie." Lily answered back. She was aware that Mike and Majorie were staring at her. "Err, I can explain." Lily said, knowing what their next words were going to be. She didn't know how to explain her gift for hearing the voices of Pokemon. "Uh, this is why I don't have any friends, except for the Pokemon in the field." Lily thought. The everlasting quietness was getting the better of her. "Uh, sorry, I have to go, I'll see you later." Lily yelped, and she dashed off.
"Lily, what happened?" Breeze asked, feeling sorry for Lily. "I don't know how to explain to people about my ability to speak, hear, and talk to Pokemon." Lily said, "I think people will think I'm crazy. I know my parents know my secret, but no one else does." They walked in silence for a while, down the, somehow quiet, hallway toward the ceremony room. They arrived in the ceremony room and looked around in awe. Their eyes swept the room, and they found the only seat left, and sat down.

After your sudden outburst and sprinting off, the least to say is that the siblings were confused. However, they prided themselves on being your best friends, and they wouldn't let anyone they considered in that sense be feeling blue on their watch! They soon caught up to you, and lured you over to the side of the ceremony room, allowing the kids you hadn't chosen a path that had to do with Pokemon to continue. "First, we're sorry if it's anything we've done to make you run off like that," began Mike, his tousled dark red hair nearly shining in the artificial light. When you looked up at him, you see that the Oshawott had somehow made its way onto Mike's shoulder! "And we understand if you don't want to talk about it." Majorie had a look of concern in her dark green eyes. Her bag that she always had with her now housed an Tepig!! "Do you want to know some special things about our starters?" she said, hoping to cheer you up. Without waiting for an answer, she told some funny quirks about them, like the fact that Mike's new Oshawott, Ottie, preferred to stay on his trainer's shoulder, and Embora the Tepig liked the coziness of the purse in preference to her Pokeball. "May you tell us a bit about the Pidove that's with you now?" Mike asks. ((If you want, you can explain the whole thing to the two, or not.)) ((Oh, yeah, the party's going on outside of the whole building. You don't have edit though.)

"Oh, well, I'm sorry for the sudden outburst." Lily said, feeling sorry for them. Ever since they met, these two had been surprisingly nice and they seemed fond of her. "I have something to say." Lily said, "I'll tell you when I'm done introducing my Pokemon. This is Breeze." Lily pointed at the Pidove perched on a branch from a tree not far from where they were sitting. Breeze fluttered over to Lily's chair, and stood perched on Lily's arm, being carful not to dig her claws in.
Right then Lily remembered she had to tell them about her strange connection to Pokemon. "Ok, guys I have to tell you something. I'm sorry I kept it a secret but, I can speak to Pokemon!" Lily yelped in the burst. "I hope no one else heard me." Lily hoped. "You'll still be my friends, right?" Lily asked, hoping they would still be friends. They sat there in a silence before they answered.

After processing your words, the two were silent for just a few minutes before Mike said, "Wow... To put it least, that was unexpected." "However, only a moment passed until Majorie followed with, "But also the most amazing thing we've ever heard." She placed a hand on your shoulder, and continued. "We understand if you've felt like we wouldn't be your friends if you told us. But it's all out in the open now, and we won't treat you any differently." As she paused, Mike moved his hand close to yours, obviously hoping for you to take it. What will you do? ((In your next post, you can control Majorie and Mike, and their partners, but I'll resume control of them afterwards.))

Lily saw Mike's hand move towards her's and she felt a tiny bit uncomfortable. But she moved her hand closer to his, feeling like it would help. "Want me to tell you what they're saying?" Lily asked quietly. "That would be great!" Mike and Majorie yelped excitedly. "OK, one second." Lily said. "You want me to say something?" Breeze told Lily. "Yeah, why not." Lily said in responds. "Why don't you see what Ottie and Embora and Ottie want to say." Breeze suggested. Lily nodded. "Breeze suggested that I should see what your Pokemon say, if you don't mind." Lily reported. "Oh, that's fine." They both responded excitedly. Lily listened for what they were saying. "What do you think she's doing?" Emborie asked Ottie. "She claims she can hear us." Ottie told Emborie." "I can you hear you loud and clear."Lily said. They jumped in surprise. "Ok then, tell Mike I said to pet me, so I can see for myself." Ottie said. Lily told Majorie and Mike what they had said, and to prove it, Mike reached down and pat Ottie square on the head. Ottie smiled. "Hey, I want some attention!" Emborie said, reaching up to Majorie. Without Lily telling her to, Majorie reached down to cuddle with Emborie. "You guys have really bonded well." Lily remarked. "Tell them I said hello," said Breeze, "Oh, Breeze says HI." Lily told them. They all smiled, but for some reason, Lily thought another student was watching her. She shrugged it off, and sat, waiting for the ceremony to start.
