Plot Team Rocket has experimented on pokemon for decades, trying to create a pokemon that was immensely powerful and intelligent, but at the same time obedient They have morphed the bodies of thousands of pokemon, changing their colors, types, brains, and more. Their current project, labeled 'Dual Species 2' was created by one of their scientists who wondered why pokemon wouldn't mix the traits of their species when they bred. They would always look like the mother.
Two years of research and experimentation has gone into this project and finally they have succeeded in created the first functional spliced pokemon. A spliced pokemon is a pokemon with the traits of more than one pokemon. Generally only spliced of two pokemon are successful, but they have managed to make a few that are three pokemon combined. These new pokemon are more intelligent than average pokemon, with most having the ability to talk, and they can use the moves of all of the pokemon used to create them. With these new pokemon hybrids, Team Rocket hopes to stage one final attack on the league and conquer Johto and Kanto. You will be playing the role of one of these experimental pokemon. You can either be obedient, or disobedient Be warned, resistance will be met with harsh punishment, however if you manage to escape Team Rocket then you are free to roam the land, going wherever you want and doing whatever you want. The choice is yours.
Rules 1. No Power playing or God Modding. 2. Any spliced characters cannot contain legendaries. 3. Characters can die in this, and you can kill other characters, but ask for permission before doing so. 4. You must have at least one spliced character since that's what this rp is all about, but you are allowed to have regular pokemon as characters. Regular pokemon can understand human speech, but can't talk for themselves. 5. No humans spliced with pokemon. Human DNA is different from pokemon DNA and the two aren't able to mix. 6. All characters will start below level ten because splicing has only worked for a very short time. Pokemon can evolve, despite the fact that they are spliced.

Name: Lekke Level: 5 Gender: female Species: A mix of Totodile an Electrike. Looks:  History: She was born in Team Rocket's labs and completely trusts the Scientist who is her trainer. She has a reputation for refusing to kill other pokemon without a strong, painful incentive and she absolutely refuses to kill other splices. After about a week she was assigned Toda as a partner. Personality: She trusts her trainer heavily, and would likely trust any friends she got just as much. She likes being praised so generally she does what she's ordered, but instinctive morals prevent her from doing certain things, particularly killing. She bears hatred for those who who lack loyalty towards Team Rocket. Other: She hates Zane and dislikes Shadow. She has a fairly neutral relationship with Toda, and mentors him.
Name: Zane Level: 6 Gender: Male Species: A mix of Vulpix and Cyndaquil Looks:  History: He was created by Team Rocket and is known to be jumpy. Personality: While he was originally very nice and would have made a nice house pokemon, frequent punishments for being meek and hesitant have turned him aggressive and paranoid. He constantly fears being beaten for messing up, and as a result he is unfocused and messes up a lot. Other: Given the opportunity, he would leave Team rocket in a heart beat. In fact, he is always trying to think up a new method of escape. He plots with his friend Shadow and hopes to be free from Team Rocket one day. He fears Lekke and isn't quite sure how to feel about Toda.
Name: Toda Level: 5 Gender: Male Species: A mix of Shroomish and Skarmory Looks:  History: Toda was born about a week after Lekke was born. He was created to be a perfect partner for her and all of the attacks that are strong against her are weak against him. Lekke mentors him and has taught him to battle proficiently. He hasn't socialized very much with the other splices and prefers to just stick with Lekke. Personality: Toda is loyal and naive. He is rather antisocial and would rather be with Lekke than have to socialize with the other splices. Since he only talks to Lekke, he doesn't understand much about the world. He just knows that Team Rocket is great and everything he does should be done for the glory of Team Rocket. Other: Other than Lekke, he doesn't really have opinions on any splices. He views Lekke as his mom since she teaches him how to do everything. He likes his trainer and thinks of him as a leader. He considers everyone else to be irrelevant.
Name:Felix Age:21 Gender:Male Species:Human Looks:Tall, skinny, black hair, brown eyes, pale skin, kind of muscular. History:Unknown beyond the fact that he joined team rocket with the hopes of rising in the ranks and returning it to greatness. Personality:Very loyal to Team Rocket. He doesn't feel much for other people, but he greatly sympathizes with his splices. He isn't afraid to order others around, especially when they mess up. He has a low tolerance for failure. Other:Unlike most of Team Rocket's members, Felix knows that pokemon are intelligent and understand human language and emotions, despite the fact that most of them are incapable of speaking. He trains Lekke and Toda.
Name:Liam Age:18 Gender:Male Species:Human Looks:Tall, tan, brown hair, green eyes. History:Not important and unknown. he was likely recruited into team rocket with the promise of money. Personality:He doesn't really care for being ordered around and is apathetic to just about everything that doesn't involve food, money, or himself. Other:He's a minor character. Not too important really. Just putting this here so I won't forget him. He trained Zane, but due to his incompetence Zane escaped him.

(Interesting name to randomly come up with. :) ) Level: 7 Gender: Female Species: Charmander and Snivy mix Looks:  She has a deep scar over her right eye. History: She doesn't like to talk about it,but it does make her disobedient towards Team Rocket. Personality: A rebel,to put it simply,she hates Team Rocket and would give anything to get away from them. She is loyal to those she cares about and has serious anger issues,which most fear her because of. She has a love for playing with fire(Like me. :) )and often plays with her tail. She is very mysterious and is also a tomboy,but still likes guys,and is mistaked for a guy,sometimes. Rp the rest out.

Lekke stared down her opponent, a Zubat that had been mixed with a Rattata. Unfortunately its DNA hadn't been mixed correctly and it was horribly crippled. Though it had four legs, it could only use the front two, and it was incapable of flight. The sickly thing was squeaking weakly and it gazed at her with fear. " Lekke, attack! " Her trainer yelled. he was a tall, thin man with short dark hair and eyes that were always hidden by glasses. Lekke frequently wondered if he had emotions, because he never made any facial expressions except for mild disappointment and anger.
With a bark, Lekke charged at the other splice, which was helpless to do anything but growl at her as he slammed into it head first. " Finish it! " Her trainer ordered as the pokemon was tossed a few feet away from her and laid limply on the ground, whimpering. Lekke whined and stared at the pokemon, then at her trainer. She didn't want to follow that order, but she didn't want to make him angry...tough choices like this made her head hurt.
Zane stood in a small room with a scientist. He was bored, to say in the least. Today he was just getting his weekly medical check done, which meant he would have to sit still for hours which the scientists ran dozens of pointless tests on him. A scientist, who had just finished scribbling things on his board, grabbed Zane and carried him to another room, where he was allowed to socialize with other splices. His trainer said this was to create unity between the pokemon in case they had to fight together. This would make it harder on them if one of the splices had to be eliminated, but that very rarely happened to this specific group. They were the good ones.

Shadow sat in the back of the room as another splice was placed inside the door. She had heard about him and had already learned his name,Zane. Knowing she didn't have time for socializing she just shrugged and continued to play with the tip of her tail as she thought of a way to escape. 'How do I escape with so many eyes watching me? How do I escape in general?',these questions swarmed in her mind,but she couldn't find an answer to any of them.

Her trainer ordered her to kill the other splice several more times, but was only given Lekke's sad stare in response. With an irritated sigh, he scribbled something on his clipboard and had Lekke return to him. Yet another failed trial. He knew she would have to learn to kill soon or his superiors would get mad at him for failing to train his pokemon well.
Lekke gave the other pokemon one last glance as she left. She could tell by the way it was breathing that it probably wouldn't live much longer anyways, but she just couldn't bring herself to finish the job. It just didn't feel right to kill another pokemon during a battle.
Zane yawned and watched the others. Each splice was doing something different. One was attacking a wall, probably to improved their endurance or something, one was shaking in the corner, another was simply sleeping beside the door, and one was sitting in the back, deep in thought. It looked like no one was feeling particularly sociable today. That was no fun. He would have to find some way to entertain himself now. He looked the others over once more, trying to figure out who would be the most interesting to talk to, and decided on the one in the back. Any pokemon who thought that much had to have something interesting to say. " Hey, whatcha thinkin about? " He asked as he approached the Snivy Charamnder splice.

(Yay,thanks and I forgot to put in her bio that her voice is deep,like a guys.)
Shadow stopped messing with her tail and looked up at the pokemon that had spoke. She was silent for a moment,but finally replied,"Just 'bout stuff. Stuff that I would rather not tell you." Grabbing her tail again she was surprised at her deep voice,since she never really talked. The orangy tip of her tail was so interesting for some reason,but she couldn't figure out why. Shaking her head she mentally told herself that was something to figure out later and left a mental note of it.

Lekke stared at the ground as her trainer berated her for not following orders. She could feel he was get tired of her refusal to kill. Who knew what would happen when he finally got fed up with her morality. While she didn't get punished often, she knew it was still a risk and she knew she wanted to avoid it if possible. Eventually her trainer got bored of yelling at her for disobedience and took her to the socialization room. Too upset to talk to the others, Lekke simply went to the corner and sat down, staring at the ground as she thought.
Zane waited a few moments before asking, " Are you sure you don't wanna talk? " He couldn't figure out why Shadow was more interested in her tail than him Her tail was always with her, while he wasn't. Therefore he should be more interesting and should have her attention. Was she confused by the flames? He didn't think there was anything special about fire. He always had fire on him. It wasn't as interesting as she was making it out to be. Was she just trying to ignore him? Before he had time to take offense, another pokemon was put in the room, distracting him from the fact that he was being ignored.

He is very loyal and has a strong firey spirit, like the fire type he is. Night seems to be emotionless around people he doesn't know or trust, but once he likes someone, he refuses to leave their side or presence and is very overprotective.

Zane sat in stunned silence for a mintue, unable to believe that there were others who didn't want to be here. All he had ever heard of the outside was that it was a horrible place full of evil people, and he would only be safe if he stayed here. He thought himself crazy for wanting to leave at all. It seemed that he wasn't the only one who's instincts longed for a larger place to run around with wind and sunlight and trees and all those other things he had heard scientists mention about the outside. He wasn't really sure what those words meant, but they sounded like something nice. " C-can I come with you? " he whispered, his voice no louder than Shadow's.
It was then that the door opened and a scientist came in. A younger looking person followed him, most likely a new member looking for a place in the science department. The scientist silently pointed at Lekke and a Spearow Zubat mix. The younger man grabbed the two and the older man grabbed Zane and Shadow. The four pokemon were taken to a large room that was full of square blocks and round log shapes. Everything was a shade of grey or red, and it was clearly a place made for fighting. Zane and Shadow were on one side of the room, and Lekke was with the Spearow Zubat splice on the other.
