And a desire for your twenty dollas. ;D I recently got into the Slender Man's myth, and I'm absolutely obsessed - a little paranoid (... or maybe a little more than a little, considering I'm sitting against my door right now, xD), but still too interested to care.

Probably not a good thing to be obsessed about a guy who goes after people who give him too much of their attention, but y'know. He's just that awesome.

Anyway. I just figured hey, why not spread it around? |D Sooo. Fanclub = yes.

Personally, I love this particular site about him. It has loads of information - mostly on the best (and creepiest) of his stories, Marble Hornets. Provides some very helpful commentary on each of the Entries. It definitely helped while I was watching. xD Both for understanding what was going on and just to know what was going to happen.. so I didn't end up wetting myself if something did happen.

The suggested viewing order thing on that last page should be pretty helpful too. ;o Not missing totheark's responses (like I did the first time, bah) would be good. Even if Return is freaky as carp. Maybe even freaky as Magikarp.

But, yah. JOIN ME. o_o

And watching it again to try to clear up all those little questions that pop up certainly isn't helping. Seems like I keep having to watch those stupid twenty dollas videos just to stop getting so nervous.

I'm having mixed feelings about this slender guy, and the mature part of me is saying that it is a hoax. Unfortunatly that part of me is not very big so, no sleeps for me!

(And I'll admit I was too scared to watch the videos. :c)

xD Yep, he's not real. He was made up by some guy on SomethingAwful and spread from there.

And hah, yah. It took a lot for me to convince myself to watch 'em. x3 I still haven't even finished watching Entry 23.. I think it ended up being just a little too much, once the decrepit building from a couple Entries earlier got involved.

If you do wanna watch 'em anyway though, I've found that on the really creepy ones it helps to just pause the video and keep going manually. Much easier to watch in still images. xD

The other story, Just Another Fool, isn't too bad. Mostly similar stuff, but it's not very scary - it's all just text and pictures. If I recall, there weren't even many real Slendy-encounters mentioned. Maybe two or three.

But really, now, what is it with dudes in suits that is so terrifying? My personal boogey man dresses like a detective and REALLY likes smiling. and peeking into windows... and... and yeah. 

Slender Man is definitely more frightening, though... I probably wont lose sleep over it. I find the creepy and the strange to be more fascinating than terrifying. I think it's because I was exposed to too many scary movies at a young age. (For real, watched Hellraiser at age seven or so. my parents didn't censor all that much from me. and look how I turned out.)

Had to go to the source and read all the stuff there first...  will come back to view the videos later.

dio distortion scared the carp out of me. o3o totheark's videos were all so. aldfjalja. Mostly because of the sound.

... Except that one I keep mentioning because it was so friggin' creepy. xD Return's scary no matter what. Even with the 'gimme twenty dollas' song played over it. Still scary. The song just made it both hilarious and terrifying at the same time.

What's worse is that I have a wall-corner right outside my door, at almost the exact same angle we saw the one by Jay's apartment. I keep imagining Slendy walk around it and come for me. 8c 'S why I ended up locking my door for the past two nights, hurr.

Hah, it doesn't get too bad too soon Sugar. xD I mostly only find it to get really creepy when it stops being all Alex's recordings from two or three years ago. When Jay himself starts getting involved, 'round Entry 16. Idiot shouldn't have gone in the houseeee.

Although, Entry 14 (I think) was pretty bad too. Eegh, silhouettes creeping through doors. It's never a good thing.

Ohlard, Gravy. You make me feel pathetic. xD I.. refuse to watch most scary movies. Last time I did watch one, the Ring, I was ten and ended up sleeping in my dad's room for two weeks. I think the only reason I like this at all is that, like you said, it's really interesting.

Whoo for Slender obsession. ;D I think I'd love to see some stories, actually. I'd like, pay you to do one.

Last scary movie I watched was Shutter, the original... not the American version. A few good jumps.  But no lost sleep. ...and I'm not even trying to sound desensitized to scary stuff, here. I jump at loud noises during the night, and worry about things that might or might not be under my bed. It think it's just that ghosts don't scare me as much as the thought of a rabid raccoon biting my ankles. D: 

Anyhoo. I'd certainly write things... for twenty dollars. 

And jeez, J, stop "investigating" in the dead of night. Not that the daylight would help, but it certainly makes more sense.

Mah boogehman (why is it always a man?) isn't totally human. He's a little deformed/decomposed and wrinkly and gray all over with no hair. Not too much skin either. Bug eyes, and he's called "The Gobbler" because he always makes terrible gobbly insane rabid noises while running at you without stopping ever. Even hitting into things/windows... /shudder

I've had him troubling me since five. D:
