Where did he come from?
No one knows. He just showed up one day. He's not much, more like an outcast, a deadbeat..oh, and a chain smoker. I've caught him several nights leaning against the side of some building for a smoke. Or he moseys on up into some old joint or speakeasy. I don't know if he goes in there to mingle - in fact, I don't know what he goes in there for, probably for the usual; a smoke, a nice glass of giggle water, and a chance to get 'dancy with the local girls. I hear he's stuck on the new girl. She's a looker but lord help him when she turns him down.
Now, I'm not sayin' that he's not good looking himself, that broad is just too stubborn and conceited to think someone would be worth her time.
Maybe he's not such an outcast, normal people just aren't worth his time. In all honesty, I see him hangin' around the wrong crowd all the time. He likes to party and play with fire. Oh boy, he sure plays with fire alright. That little shiek has a habit of flirting with the local molls. If he keeps that up the next time I see him will be in a Chicago overcoat. He's a regular ol' instigator as well. There's been quite a few young fellas sent to the meat wagon when he comes around.
