Kafrin's Coding Commissions
If you are reading this, chances are you'd like to order or know more about coding commissions! These are CSS/HTML codes which I make to alter the appearance of your profile or pet pages. I make them from scratch according to any specifications you give me, and can do a great number of things with them. Even this page was created from a modified pet page!

Current examples:
Profiles: [Kafrin] [Mugiwara] [Foo] [NeNebaby] [ShadowStar0]
Pet pages: [Joseph] [BlackRabbit] [Apollo] [Angeal] [Hanabi]

Caught your attention yet? Good! Let's cut right to the chase.

Prices

For profiles, my prices range from 7 million tu to roughly 15 million tu, depending on how complex you want your profile design to be. A more complex profile will be more expensive. I might give discounts where I see fit, but for the most part, don't expect to pay any less than 7 million!
For pet pages, I charge considerably less. The maximum amount you can expect to pay for a pet page is 6 million tu, and the minimum 500 thousand tu.

When considering prices, there is one very important thing to note! Any image you ask to have decorating your page, but don't provide, I need to procure myself. Therefore, I add a 200k charge for every 15 minutes I spend looking for the right image for your profile. This can add up fast! To avoid this extra fee, make sure you find images yourself and give them to me so I can use them.

Not outside your price range? Excellent. The next step is thinking about what you want on your profile or pet page. I can do a great number of things with CSS/HTML, but there are a few things that I cannot do!

Specifications

CSS/HTML and Rescreatu.com's parameters prevent me from doing the following things: removing all content from your profile, making some things appear one way and some things appear another way when it's the same type of thing (such as links), embedding videos or flash widgets on your profile or pet page, and setting more than one image as a profile or pet page background. If there is anything else you want that cannot be done, I'll let you know and give you my regrets. However, most things can be done! Pet pages are much more flexible than profiles. For example, I've deleted all the pet information from this page so that I could use it for my commission information.

In most cases, the more detail you can give me, the better! It's useful to know what links you'd like on your profile, whether you want any floating side boxes for extra info, what sort of look you're going for, any pet page details (such as pet image) you'd like removed, and that sort of thing. However, don't get too attached to one specific design. Complications could always arise that make it impossible to place all the elements as you have envisioned. It's best to come to me with a general sense of theme and give as many details as you can, then let me do the rest. I will always make sure you're as happy as possible before leaving you with your new code!

Further Instructions

Once you know what you want and you've found any images you'd like me to use, send me an rmail with all the information and image links in it. I'll get to work as soon as possible! If I have any questions along the way, I'll rmail you back and ask. If you want to see how your profile code is coming along, you can check my profile to see me working on it! If it's a pet page, you can ask me to see it and I'll show you the pet I'm using to develop the page code.

You can send your payment at any time, however I won't send the code until I have your payment! You'll be able to see what the code looks like before you send your payment, but you won't be able to use it until I send it to you. For profile codes, I'll send it to you in an rmail. If the code breaks in the rmail, which does happen rarely, I may ask for an alternative method of contacting you, such as email. If you're not comfortable with that, we'll work something else out. If it's a pet page code, I'll send you a junk pet which will have the code on its pet page. The code may not look right for the junk pet, but it will always look right on the pet page it was intended to occupy!

Commission

Got everything? Okay, good! You can contact me any way you like, from profile comments to Tumblr messages. However, the way most of you will probably contact me is through Rmail. Go to it!

Q&A

Q: Where did you learn CSS/HTML?
A: I am self-taught, and I learned through years of making my own profile codes right here on Rescreatu! That being the case, my education is probably a little spotty compared to someone who learned in a classroom. But it's plenty good enough for the purpose of making profile/pet page codes.

Q: Will you teach me how to code?
A: I may give you a little advice if I'm feeling helpful, and if you pay me a very modest sum I'll let you in on details of how I do what I do. You have to remember that this is how I make money! What I absolutely won't do is be your personal CSS/HTML mentor. If I offer to help, I'll help, but please don't take it for granted!

Q: You can't do exactly what I want? Fine, I'll just look for someone who can!
A: Haha, good luck! CSS/HTML has its limits just like any other medium. You wouldn't scoff at an artist who couldn't make her drawings whistle. The limits in CSS/HTML are a little more frustrating than that, but they still exist! It usually isn't a matter of me not being able to do a thing so much as it is a matter of it's not a thing that can be done. If you want something that I'm not fully familiar with, usually I'll just try to teach myself rather than tell you I can't do it. That's the best way to learn, after all.

Q: Can I edit the colors/background/etc. of my code?
A: Sure! Just as long as you don't remove the credit.

Q: But the credit is ugly! Can't I remove that, or at least make it less noticeable?
A: You can't remove my credit! It's the signature on my work, and lets people know who made the code. I try to make the credit as unobtrusive as possible. If you don't like the way the credit looks, and you ask me in the development stage, I'll try to find a way to make the credit look a little nicer.

Q: Can I edit the pet page code you made me and use it for other pets?
A: Sorry, no! Again, this is how I make money! If I find you've done something like that, I really won't be happy. That's theft and grounds for a reporting!

Q: I think I might have found someone who has stolen your work! What can be done?
A: Usually I can tell when a piece of code is my own work, especially if it's stolen. If you find that, please let me know about it! I'll look it over and, if I'm sure the code is stolen, I'll send a ticket to staff reporting the thief. Theft of intellectual property is punishable by law, or on-site repercussions at the very least!
