New user Aaya here. .o. I always get so nervous-ish when I join a new forum or anyplace with a socializing area online. :S I don't know what it is, but apparently Res is doing it for me too.
Anyway, I'm an okay artist, I suppose, and I'm going to be doing free sketches. I'm not sure how acceptable it would be to ask for tips on Rescreatu, because I used to ask for tips gently when I was a member of Gaia Online back in my anime fangirl days. (Weren't those the days?) But my TU count is dipping into the 2k area, haha, and I don't know how else to ask but flat-out popping the question: is tipping for sketches appropriate on Res?
That's not to say I expect tips if I draw art for someone, gosh, no. .o. I don't want to be
that artist--not to imply anything about artists who do expect tips--and I can sense that this thread is rapidly descending into one of
those threads--again, not trying to imply--so I'll just provide a sample of my work.
I'm honestly not that good with creatures--I usually do anthropomorphic characters, and that's my "forte," I suppose. But, working with critters makes my art sense stronger (art sense? what), and I'm happy to do it more and more these days.
