I think it's the sprites alignment in the layers that's making him do the moon walk...

You just posted imaged in the wrong order. That's why he's running backwards. And I take it none of these are yours? You just copy the sprite and try to animate it?

Well, not quite like that! I take a sheet from the interenet and used photoshop to animate it! So I WILL give credit to where these came from, But I'm selling the Animations not the sprites! (sort of?) why is that not allowed?

That's the thing, it's not your art work. It would be different if you were animating your own pixels, but anyone could go out and get those sprites and copy and paste them in slides to make a simple animation. It would be different if you were animating your own. It's a bit trickier that way becuase you'd have to make sure you drew each slide for the movements right instead of relying on some one else's art to be right. All you're really doing here is making sure those pictures are in order, and that takes little effort. I guess what I'm trying to get at is that you should try experimenting some of your own stuff instead of using other people's work.Only then can you improve.

your acting like my hard work is nothing!! it hurts my feelings, cause maybe some people don't have photoshop to do this! and maybe some people can't draw slides! I'm not a computer wizard like you! I can't MAKE sprites! I make animations! Is WHAT I"M DOING NOT ALLOWED?

those sprites are THERE to be animated! Yes! I should give them creddit! and I will but everytime I try a new approch to selling art no-one buys! The one time I found out how to do something people might buy, It is against the rules!

not to sound rude but its not really "hard work" if you just line up ready made sprites.its like if i was to go find an uncoloured character and colour it in.

Ah. I'd say even coloring is harder work than animating premade sprites. xD There's quite a bit of effort and technique that separates a quick scribble and a coloring masterpiece. Only thing you could really do here is make sure your sprites are in the right order. Anyway. If you wanna do this, Rainbow, why not learn to make sprites yourself? :D I'm sure it'd be fun, and people wouldn't get onto you for selling art that isn't yours. You'd be learning a pretty nice skill too - good pixel artists tend to be pretty respected, from what I've seen. Oh that Flash, getting all the ladies with her epic pixel skills..
Also, it doesn't take a big expensive program like Photoshop to animate. P: I could do it just as easily with my little super-simplistic animating program, unFREEZ. It's not fancy in the least, but it sure gets the job done.

Hold your horses. All we're doing is trying to help you and you get all defensive? If you're gonna post in this forum you're gonn have to learn how to take a little critisism.=/ And it isn't hard work at all. I don't know why you're getting so hyped up about. Some thing like that could take about 10 mins to get in order, much, much less time than it would take to actually draw it. You act like animating it is far harder than trying to draw the sprites them selves. ._.
Maybe you could stop complaining and start practicing on improving so maybe youy could make some of your own so people won't get after you for selling other people's art.(:

I'm not going to comment on the predicament, because Wind's already got that down to a 'T'. But, 'Karate Girl' is actually a guy... he's from Ranma 1/2. xD

Calm down, silly. Getting upset only makes things worse, especially when you refuse even the helpful suggestions. At the risk of being repetitive, I'll say it again. Why not try your hand at sprite-making? Really, it doesn't take a computer wizard to make 'em. xD I'm definitely no genius with pixels, and I got pretty into it back in mid-2008 - mostly for something to do while the site was down after the hack. It's like any other way of drawing - all it takes is lots of practice and the will to learn. Especially the will to learn - improvement is impossible without it. There are PLENTY of sprite-making tutorials out there. Just do a search for sprite tutorials on Google or DeviantART, and you should find plenty. c:

Dear, your getting mad over nothing. It really isnt that hard to use someones images and put them in order. I agree with Wind and Yoshi, I think it would be good for you to try making your own sprites, and I'm repeating what they said, but, so that no one can get on you for selling other peoples art for currency here. I don't know anything about spriting, an I don't know it its t allowed here or not to use someone elses sprite sheets for tu, I would personally categorize it as art theft, but thats just me.

Well, are those your arts? No. These users are trying to help you, so simmer down, please. Theyre just suggesting you make your own sprites, Rainbow.
Why the cloud, Sunny?
