Okay, I drew this yesterday and I want peoples opinions on it .3. Let me just say a few things:
His eye was not square, the vectoring just did that and I didn't shade it because I think it looks just fine X3
And I wouldn't sell it because he's an official character (from FiM).


Omnom. And I know his feet don't look firmly on the ground, but he's Discord and he'll do what he likes.

I think it looks good  I wish I'd drawn it,I like how the paws are like all different it's really good.

I assume you were using Flash for this (because it's the only program I know which has a vector tool like that xD). I did a little redline for you alright?

(Right click >> View image)
(I didn't redline the wings because I;m not too confident with my wing anatomy xD)
And about the square eyes, if I were you, I would keep undoing and redoing the eyes until it looks right, yea? :D

Yeah, I was aware of the legs xDD Yeah, I think next time I'll redo everything 'till it looks right. Thanks for the advice! :D
Also, what does the red writing say? xD I'm terrible at reading cursive *fails*.

It says 'I would suggest you make te pose a little more dynamic!'

Also, MS piant isn't the best tool for drawing. I would suggest you get GIMP or something (since it's free). It has a layers feature that would allow you to build up the image a bit better. It will also allow you to tackle more advanced things ;D

Also, I don't think you should redo and correct everything. Just keep these mistakes I pointed in mind so that you know not make them when you draw next time.

I don't use MS paint, just plain old paint xD
Hm, I do have trouble with layers. Maybe I teach myself eventually...

MS Paint = Microsoft paint

It's the default software on most windows computer. Which most people just call paint. I call it MS Paint to distinguish real paints from the software xD

Or were you talking about Sumo Paint or something? I dunno, I'm not too familiar with software I don't use (only uses Photoshop and Flash). I don't have the new version of MS paint, I have the old one xD

Anyways, I assume you're using a mouse to draw these. If I were you, I would familiarize myself with more advanced software before considering buying a tablet. Also, don't ditch pencils. Improve your traditional art skills and your digital art skills will improve. There's an interconnection between the digital and traditional art, I've used skills learnt from oil painting in digital painting and vice versa.
