So I downloaded SAI painter the other day and I must say it is fantastic. So much fun to use and simple too. I tested it out by doing a doodle and coloring it. Now, this is my first time ever coloring something digitally and I think I did pretty well...

However, I know it's not perfect and there are a few questions I have for the digital artists out there. Okay...
1.) The hair shines - I've looked at tutorials, observed countless DA artists and nothing really seems to answer my question. Are there certain rules to hair shines? Can I just shine anywhere? Is there a "right" way to shine it or is it all a matter of preference?
2.) The fabric - Being new to cel-shading and all, I shouldn't have made anything to complicatedbut I refused to let fabric folds stop me. Is there some kind of rule as to when to indicate folds using shading or actual lines? Should I only use shading to make wrinkles in the fabric?
If you notice anything else that seems to be off, please tell me. I will forever be in your debt. Cheers~! :3
