Lol,well anyways,I luffles to draw dragons and I personally think I'm�awesometablular with them,but I want to know what y'all think.xD

The eyes look pretty dark and blurry. I think brightening them up would make it look a lot better.

Ways to improve: - Borrow a scanner or something... Maybe at a photocopy shop (some do offer scannings). But that's just for sharing on the internet...
- Revising your anatomy, but it's too late for this one. Next time you draw a dragon observe the anatomy of other artworks or looking at photos of animals animals (a horse or dinosaur)
- More dynamic shading, try using a variety of pencils (I'd suggest from H - 6B pencils)
- Practice drawing frequently. Do several doodles and pick the best one to do further detail on, the first one is almost never the best one.

1.Alright,I shall look around and see if any one has a decent scanner,if not I can always see if I can get a good one for x-mas.^^
2.That's a good suggestion,and I'm sure I will try that out some time.:]
3.I actually used 2h-4B pencils for that picture,and I know I have to work om my shading too...xD
4.I draw quite a bit,but not as much as I should.D;
And I usually just go with the flow,but some times I'll do a sketch to just plan out what'll look like.
But I shall try each of your suggestions.:]

wow, that's awesome. I really liek how much you wnet into detail. I'm the kind of artists who will draw the individual hairs on a dog's face and still manage to make it look good, but I always utterly phail at scales. Respect 2 U

They chop the page. I can't see the full images. From what I do see, though, the head of the japanese dragon is wonderful. The body looks really wierd, though. Arm looks like it's broken. Might want to practice your anatomy, as Ping said. And I'm writing wierd because of the page pulling, lol. |
