I'm not evil, am I?

In fact, what is evil? Is it nothing more than a label, a judgement? Or is it a true part of a person's soul, one that can be hidden away, locked away, pushed away...

If that's the case, then what makes someone evil? Is stealing evil? What if it is for the greater good, as the fabled Robin Hood did? Stealing from the rich to give to the poor. Was he evil?

What of deciet? Is lying evil? What if it's to protect someone you love? I've lied before. I've lied quite a few times. To protect someone I loved. To protect myself.

What of..murder? Is murder evil? Cold, calculated, murder? Yes, I do suppose that could be considered evil. But what if you're insane? Cannot control it? Do you deserve a life of isolation and inner torment, imprisoned in bindings and thoughts? No life to live, just thinking...kill me...kill me now...no point to go on...what's going on? Where am I? Who am I? Where is my dear sister? Is murder evil? Is insanity evil?

Yes, murder is probably the ultimate evil. Taking another's life before it's their time.  Essentially, playing God.  But what happens if it's not your doing? What if it's another person, who looks like you, acts like you, is you, but at the same time, isnt? What then? Does the body of one get punished for an entirely different soul, which can't be hidden away, locked away, pushed away. Except for when she chooses.  So during this imprisonment, I'm left to suffer, until she devises yet another plan to escape, and the process repeats...

Btw, in case you're confused, this is basically about a boy who absorbed his twin in the womb, and her soul is still alive inside of him.  She's a psychopath and randomly decides to kill people when she has control of his body, and all he can do is watch from his own eyes.  Then when she (the girl is simply called Witness) gets caught, her soul lies dormant so she doesnt feel the torment inflicted on her poor brother while he's incarcerated.  Then she decides to kill again, takes control, breaks out of jail, and the process happens again.
