((This is based off of the American Version of The Digimon Anime, so if you want see the Anime, don't mix it. I think))
Introduction--
The Anime didn't tell everything. There were two other kids. Me and Rick. Yep, I'm one of those kids. Name's Samm, I bear the crest of Faith, let's make that known. My Digimon Partner, Foxmon, she's awesome, but that's for later. I guess I should start at the very beginning.

"The Director wants to see you, kid," my Dorm commander says.
"Ok!" I respond. Why does the Director want me, a low-ranking new recruit?
Once I get to his headquarters', I realize that I'm not the only kid there. A young boy with silvery hair and brown eyes glance back at me. At least, I think he has brown eyes. My ginger hair always gets my face, and today is no exception.
"Hello, Samantha Riley. Hello, Rick Bryan." The voice resonates everywhere in the metal room.
"Where are you?" asks the boy, was his name Rick?
"Don't fret, I am beneath you," again with the voice. "You do wonder why I have called, don't you. Well, it is hard to explain... I'll leave it to your partners for the details." Metal grinding, leading to two platforms rising, and then.. A weird fox-like creature runs up to me, with purple, brown and black spots, and an odd necklace dangling on her neck. Huh. I know it's a her. "Samm!" she calls. I tilt my head.
"Samm? Don't you remember?" she asks. "It's me, Foxmon! Your Digimon Partner? You helped me Digivolve a good number of times? We faced Devimon, Etemon, and...Oh. You have amnesia. I see. You wouldn't remember... Well, even if I try, you probably can't remember. I guess I can put into words. Well, you see..."
Something grabs my attention while she's talking. The crest/necklace Foxmon's wearing. A spiral with a straight line coming out of it. It's like... a symbol of a leap of faith...Faith...Why does that sound so right, familiar? Suddenly, her necklace starts glowing bronze, and and a rectangular... thingy floats toward me, latching on to my shirt when it gets close enough. I think I remember what it's called... A Digivice? Yes, a Digivice. Foxmon curls up on my lap, and I can't help but sigh contentedly. A grin steals upon my face as memories steal into my mind. A warm campfire comes most strongly to mind, a memory of laughing, friendly faces, arguing voices, and most of all, a hand on my shoulder, and Foxmon curled up on my lap. Faces I've for what seems eternity come back to me, with names I've not known for some time rushing back.
"Leah!" I exclaim suddenly. "What happened to Leah?"
"Ah, I'm glad you remember," the Director says. "Sadly, your friends and siblings couldn't be saved." No! My...My sister... I can't believe it. I lost my sister, before I could get to know her again. Over to my right, Rick looks in pain. A Digimon that could be Foxmon's twin is trying to comfort him, wrapping his tail around Rick.
Foxmon is still talking about what exactly the Digiworld is. I think that she was trying to scratch the surface in five minutes or less.
"Hey!" I grin, gazing at her. "It's alright. I remember it all."
"Really?" says Foxmon, giving me a dubious glance.. "You're not saying that to get me to stop talking?"
"No. It's real."
She tackles me in a suprisingy strong bear hug.
