Oaih & Vyien (Nothing in this story[character species, places, ect] belong to me. All of it is property of Blizzard Entertainment.)
It was the Great War of Azeroth between the Horde and Alliance. Oaih was a High Elf arcanist, *censored*isting the Humans of the Alliance in learning the way of the Mages; of Arcane, Fire, and Frost. A few weeks after the training of the few humans who had chosen the path of the arcanist, Oaih was sent into the war against the Horde. It took a few days to reach the Barrens, and when they arrived it was completely war torn. There were scattered groups of the two oppositions in large numbers, with multiple dead and wounded bodies on the ground. Oaih threw a Fire Bolt at a few Orcs, and while they were distracted their pursuers sliced them, allowing them to fall to the ground, cringing of pain.
Oaih muttered a spell under her breath, activating an Ice Armor spell. A few seconds later, a Troll Shaman tried to hit her with a Lightning Bolt, but her Ice Armor dulled its power. Oaih threw a Pyroblast at the Troll, sending him flying. She then spotted a Human Rogue lying on the ground near a bush, and ran over to aid him.
"Are you all right?" Oaih asked. A few moments later, she muttered to herself.
"Of course not..." the human mumbled. A few seconds later, a cinnamon role had appeared in a flash in Oaih's hands. She handed it to the human while taking out a role of Nether-Weave bandages from her pocket. She handed it to the human aswell. The human nibbled on the food after he wrapped his wounds with the bandages. His wounds healed quickly, and after not even five minutes he was up attacking the Horde again, with Oaih by his side.
"Soo... What's you're name? Oaih asked curiously. "Vyien. My name is Vyien." he said. "I'm guessing you are the 'prized' Oaih?"
"How'd you know?"
"Word of your presence has been spreading all across the Eastern Kingdoms. "A High Elf!" they say. "An arcanist!"" Oaih just responded with an interested look.
"Also," he stated,"You don't quite look human, not even like a Night Elf. I figured you had to be a High Elf." Oaih nodded.
"So.... We should probably focus on fending off the Horde, huh?" he said. "Mm... Probably." Oaih hadn't said much after that.
After Oaih and Vyien had been dispatched back to Stormwind City, they had decided to go on an expedition of the newfound continent of Northrend. Northrend was a cold and desolate place. There were several outposts belonging to the Horde and Alliance scattered throughout the many provinces of Northrend. Most of the provinces were cold, but some of them were warm. For example, in Sholazar Basin, there was a tropical climate. That was where Oaih and Vyien were planning to go first.
The boat ride had been pleasant at first, and it wasn't very cold. After about half of the way there, though, the climate had gotten quite colder. Once Oaih and Vyien had arrived at Valiance keep in the Borean Tundra, it had gotten very cold. Oaih and Vyien had came unprepared for this.
"It's freezing out here!" exclaimed Oaih. "I didn't think it would be this cold." Vyien shivered a little, but other than that he didn't respond. He and Oaih had been just getting directions to Sholazar Basin from one of the merchants, and seeing what warm armor and clothing was for sale. One of the vendors had a fur-lined leather vest, and it looked quite warm. Vyien purchased this along with a pair of fur boots and leather leggings. Oaih had found the cloth vendor, which had a lot of fur-lined robes and boots. She bought a robe with interesting blue,black, and brown inions on a red background. It was quite warm, even though it looked thin and cold. She also found a nice matching pair of boots. After getting directions along with some suitable new armor, Oaih and Vyien headed out towards Sholazar Basin. They saw plenty of new creatures, and occasionally an adventurer attacking one. Sometimes, Oaih cheered them on. {To be continued :D}
