I have made Kanpekina into the tale of how Rescreatu start, in my own, fun way.:)
Kanpekina: Part One
Oceen brushed up against the tall grass that swayed back and forth, the golden color painting the meadow in front of her. The wind whistled and ran through the grass like a playful child, the wind gently brushing her hair.
She was taking a walk, the walks she took when she felt as if she wanted to escape the world for a while. She was walking up to the old Oak Tree that towered above the grass. The branches swayed as the grass did, and the leaves rustled in the wind.
She slid back on the bark till she was positioned perfectly on the ground, where the grass tickled her arms. The wind wasn't as strong where she sat, and the Oak Tree seemed as it was protecting her from the winds that lingered. She stared at the sky, where the sun shone brightly and the clouds came into figures of happy thoughts.
The wind then started to die down slowly and the grass only twitched. Oceen relaxed her head on the bark of the tree and closed her eyes gently.
She laid there for a good five minutes or so till she felt something, something on her leg. Fairly light and small. She slowly opened one eye and peered at her leg. There something sat, something that Oceen had never seen before!
It kind of looked like a mouse or a chinchilla, Oceen sat up from her relaxed position, slowly and quietly, not to spook the rodent that laid on her leg looking asleep. She then curiously poked to see if it would move. The rodent immediately stood up and ran into the tall grass. Oceen then crossed her legs and looked curiously into the grass, the rodent peeked its head out. Oceen looked away thinking it might come if she pretended it wasn't there.
Then Oceen heard it walk up to her, she turned her head slowly and looked at the mouse creature. This time it didn't run away and Oceen smiled at it. "Hello little guy," Oceen said friendly, and in a playful manner "I'm Oceen , what's your name?". Oceen then reached her hand out to pet it.
"I'm Kanpekina." the rodent spoke. Oceen screeched, and Kanpekina ran into the bushes. Oceen took deep breaths and tried to figure out what just happened, she then gulped and tried to say a calm response.
"You can talk!" Oceen yelled. Kanpekina returned and sat in front of her.
"I was just answering your question, Oceen" Kanpekina said.
"Well I didn't think you were going to reply!" Oceen said, still freaked out.
"Well, it seems as if you wont be doing much talking seeing that you are scared our of your wits. As I stated before I am Kanpekina, I am a Creatu called a Chimby and come from a wide variety of them. I am one of the rarest ones that come from the Chimby, Albino." Kanpekina said quietly. Oceen was still scared and shocked but realized she had heard of the many Creatu that lived in Meadows like these.
"I-I have heard of Creatu, don't you come from Rees, Reel, Re-" Oceen was cut off by Kanpekina.
"Rescreatu, yes we are." Kanpekina answered her question.
Oceen examined Kanpekina more thoroughly, now that she wasn't scared to death. She saw a light pink stripe run down her back.
"I have seen some of your type of species in pictures that my friends show me in school, I don’t recall them having that stripe. Do all of you Chimbys have that, that stripe?" Oceen asked.
"Actually, no, we don't. I am just special you can say, I was born with it, and it topped me off. I am smart, kind, athletic, and now special. Half the reason my name is Kanpekina." Kanpekina paced.
"Kanpekina, what does that mean?" Oceen asked, curiously.
"Perfect in Japanese." Kanpekina said proudly.
"Oh, that's beautiful." Oceen smiled.
"Thank you, I love your name too." Kanpekina showed her teeth in smile.
"Thanks, I thin-" Oceen was cut off by Kanpekina's 'shhh'. Oceen froze and so did Kanpekina.
"Did you hear that?" Kanpekina said in a whisper, not moving.
At first Oceen didn't hear anything. But then she did the grass swayed in a harmful motion and the Oak Trees leaves rustled as if the tree was going to collapse on them.
Then Kanpekina whispered "Their here."
Kanpekina: Part Two
Oceen froze, she heard the sound of something coming but she didn’t know what. She glanced at Kanpekina for any signals of what to do, but she only stared into the woods. Then she whispered softly to Oceen, it was so quiet that Oceen could barley hear the Chimby. “Run.” Kanpekina whispered. Oceen stared at Kanpekina, having war with her self, should she leave the little mouse? What could be in the tall grass in front of us that can kill Kanpekina? Should she save herself?
The war took to long for Kanpekina, she turned around with a very unhappy face. Soon enough the face went to worried as they heard a loud rustle of a leaf being crushed, Oceen didn’t know what to do. “Run.” Kanpekina said a bit more urgently. Oceen shook her head, she was going to stay with Kanpekina. “Run!” Kanpekina squealed, then it came.
Out of the bushes came a lion type animal, it was huge towering over them, it’s teeth sharp and it’s claws two inches long. Blood stained on them.
The beast growled in a pounce position, only a yard away from the two. Oceen stood there stunned, Kanpekina had other plans, though. She ran up to the beast and showed her little teeth, ready to fight the beast.
“Kanpekina, no!” Oceen yelled reaching out a hand, Kanpekina ignored her. The beast slashed at the mouse, knocking her over. Blood came from her body, she laid there looking unconscious.
Then the beast moved the Oceen, she backed up against the tree. There was no where to escape the death of the beast, then she closed her eyes so she didn’t see the claws and teeth pierce her.
Then she felt a blast of air swoop past her, she opened her eyes. Another creature threw down the beast, they were in full out brawl. Then Oceen went over to Kanpekina flipping her over from her side position. Red claw marks went over her body, her white coat turned red and she laid limp. “Kanpekina?” Oceen called “Kanpekina! Wake up!”
Tears started to fall onto the mouse’s little body. She heard a yelp to her left and saw the beast running away from her savior. She laid the body down and walked to the animal, it lean and horse like. It had a horn piercing from it’s head, Oceen hesitated to walk to the animal. What if it attacked her?
“Are you okay?” It spoke in a deep voice.
“Y-yes, but my friend isn’t.” Oceen pointed to Kanpkeina.
“Put her on my back.” he demanded urgently.
Oceen did what he said and laid the Chimby on his back, she laid perfectly on the green coat and slightly touched his purple mane.
“Get on.” he demanded.
“What?” Oceen asked, shocked.
“Get on! She will fly off if she is not held in place.” the creature said annoyed.
So Oceen climbed on nervously, she rapped her hands around Kanpekina and held onto the mane. Then the thing bucked and ran into the woods behind the meadow at dangerous speeds.
“Who are you?” Oceen asked.
“My name is Volon, I am a Ezahni Creatu of Rescreatu, I recently dyed my coat a Orchid color I hope you think it’s nice.” Volon explained, more than Oceen wanted to know.
“Uh…yeah…your coat looks great.” Oceen said awkwardly.
“What’s your name? What’s the Chimbys name? Why were you about to get mauled by a Liyure? Where do you live? What Creatu are you?” Volon asked.
“Um… my name is Oceen, this is Kanpekina. I don’t know what a Liyuoo is and I live in New York, Long Island. I am a human…” Oceen answered all the questions he wanted to know.
The animal skidded to a halt and bucked Oceen and Kanpekina off.
“You’re a human!” Volon said angrily
“Yes, why did you stop?” Oceen said confused.
“I was about to bring you to Rescreatu! No human is aloud there, it would ruin the animal sanctuary we have built up for years. You humans ruin everything you touch!” Volon stood angrily. Oceen didn’t feel scared anymore, she was offended more than anything. She stood up and brushed herself off.
“Well if you haven’t noticed we have built up this beautiful, world! That is much bigger than the animal sanctuary you have made!” Oceen said defensively
“Then explain all the smog and pollution you people make! Then the animals you kill for food! Sickening!” Volon snarled.
“ Well I will fine my way to Rescreatu, because it seem as Kanpekina can only find help there!” Oceen then picked up Kanpekina and walked into the forest.
“Leave into the woods! I don’t care, you will probably just get mauled by a Liyure or Jahara and I wont be there to save you next time!” Volon yelled to Oceen.
Oceen ignored him but realized that there are furious beast out there, and Kanpekina needs help fast.
“W-what if I’m not able to save her, she, she will die because of me.” Oceen said in a whisper, her eyes watering. “Why did I get my self rapped up in this mess!” Oceen yelled and laid the body down. “I will end up killing her, I can stay with her anymore. Her fate is already planned and it will take to long for me to get over it!”
Oceen stared at Kanpekina, a tear rolled down her face and she quickly ran away before Kanpekina dies.
Kanpekina: Part Three
Oceen opened the door to her house, tears running down her face.
"Honey, come in here it's time for lunch!" her mother called
"No hungry!" Oceen sniffled running up stairs.
"Honey, are you okay?" her mother called to her, and following her up stairs.
Oceen laid on her bed, her head in her pillow. Her mother banged on the door calling her name about a hundered times. Oceen easily ignored it, she could only think of Kanpekina. She left her in the forest, to die. How can she do that to Kanpekina, she probably was already killed by a Liyoo like Volon said. It was all her fault, too.
She had to back and at least to see her one more time. She got up and from her bed and opened her door to see her moms fist about to punch the door again. "Honey, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, I need to go." Oceen said running down stairs past her mom.
"Oceen?" her mom called to her.
"I'll be back before dinner!" Oceen left and slammed the door behind her.
She was on a full of sprint, the Oak Tree in sight. She went to run past it into the tiny wood that was behind the tree. She turned left into the forest and ran through a maze of trees.
She then rememebered that the tree she past lead to the openning space in the forset where she left Kanpekina. She skipped backwards and ran past the tree, she could see the openning!
She ran faster, now that she knew she was right. Then out of no where something came up and blocked the opening. It was a lepard with wings! Oceen never saw it before, she skidded to a stop but it was too late.
Oceen knocked into the beast! She tryed to get back up but tripping over the cat was like hitting cement. The beast came up to Oceen and sniffed her, the beast then showed it's teeth. It bit a chunck of skin from Oceen's body.
The beast was going to finish her off til she heard the bushes rustle next to her. Out came Volon and knocked over the beast, Oceen couldn't think. Her breathing got heavier and she gasped for hair. She couldn't hold on any longer.
She tried to breath, she tried to take gulps of air. But then everything went black.
