IE is notorious for misbehaving with code, omg. x.x
If you absolutely love it and don't want to switch, well, you might be insane xD but you can first try updating it to the latest version of IE and see if that resolves the issue.
If you're up for a switch, Chrome and Firefox work beautifully with Res as well as just about every other website in existence, plus you'll be more protected against malware, spyware, etc. than with IE.
