I recently got a dye kit from Kir's Quest and it hasn't shown up in my inventory or anywhere else that I can find it. Any ideas?

You mean a Random Dye Kit or an Uldavian Dye Kit from the prize shop? If you had enough points to get one, it will show up in your inventory and stay there until you use it on a pet or move it somewhere.

It was a random dye kit, but it never appeared in my inventory.

If it never appeared, then you never got the item. Perhaps you didn't have enough points yet to get it.
