My Wardrobe only lets me wear and access less than half of the clothes and accessories that I own. Is something wrong???

It's quite possibly the clothing you have hasn't been added to the HA system yet.
Try checking the dream builder. It shows ever wearable item in the game, so if your items aren't there, then it just means they haven't been added yet.
