Random external links scattered through website.

Has anyone noticed that there are random links put on normal words that lead to external advertisments or sites? Not just on forums but on the word 'online' in Users Online and the words 'Date' and 'Message' in the Alerts menu.


Whether we wanted it or not, we\'ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let\'s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta\'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He\'s well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

Look! right there, the word 'word' is linked to a casino game website!

That isn't happening on Rescreatu. You have a form of adware that has installed itself into your computer or browser and is causing you to see random links on your computer only; others are not going to see them.

I would suggest visiting a forum that is dedicated to removing adware/malware/spyware and requesting help to solve the problem...sometimes it can be simple, sometimes complicated. The users of those forums can guide you through determining what is wrong and how to fix it, though. You should be able to find one through a quick google search.

That happened to me. It turns out I had a FireFox add-on that let me dislike posts on FB. Eventually it stopped working and when I removed it, the random ads went away.


Something will be here eventually.
