1x1 roleplay search fourm

Normal User Posts: 3,291	There are a lot of people searching for privet roleplays, and so I was thinking it's a good idea to make a page for those searchs so they aren't taking up space on the actual board. Please take it into consideration.

Normal User Posts: 3,642	It is possible for the thread's owner to ask staff to delete the search thread after its purpose is done. P: I think I'd rather see that encouraged more, instead of just making a whole new board to throw them out of sight. I guess I just really don't like the idea of sub-boards on Res. These suggested ones always seem so specific that they would encourage people to start making certain kinds of threads more, or that such thread-fads would never fade out like they usually eventually do. Something general like the Fanclubs board was pretty nice, as it encourages communication on non-Res things and allows people to become closer. But a board for a very specific kind of thread that might not be so prevalent in a year or two if left alone? No thanks.

Normal User Posts: 3,291	But the thread wuld also make it smewhat easier to find a 1x1 quickly. Sometimes it takes a little while to find a search page in all the rps. It would also keep the rping pages, just for rps.

Normal User Posts: 1,731	Why make a seperate section for this if there is already a section for roleplays? Just go old school and post you're looking for a one x one. Might take some time, but you'll get a response. I don't find it crucial for there to be a separate section just for this.

Normal User Posts: 3,291	Uwibami-I'm know we're still take time, but I'm saying it will make it easier to search for 1x1's instead of searching the rp board. Kitty-I'm only talking about searching for rps, not actually rping them.

Normal User Posts: 398	Why don't you try using the shoutbox to look fro someone to 1x1 with then? I see people get responses on there pretty quickly.

Normal User Posts: 3,291	Darkfirs-I'm not just talking about myself. Some people, including me, don't like the shout box. Also, with the shout box, you would keep having to re-enter it for other people to see when they got on.

Normal User Posts: 3,642	That's what patience is for. xD I'm sure you can wait a little bit, eh? I've waited four months for a post on a roleplay of mine. Half an hour to accomodate your advertising limit if no one responds the first time won't hurt that badly.
