I keep thinking about all the items people own when they are banned and they get to kepp them, and even their pets! I think we should recycle these items put them in the trash so they are free to grab and there pets in the forest so anyone can get them! This is what I think Those who support all the ideas on having something done on banment and what to do with the items and pets! Just say below, I support! Support 1.) 2.)

What if that person was banned on accident? Some sort of mistake. Or they learned thier lesson. Bans don't last forever. The person is eventually unbanned. It would be horrible to come back and see all your hard work is gone, you'd have no real reason to continue playing on Res. It's bad enough that you were banned in the first place. Some people use real money on this site. If someone had a credit token, that's real money. Meaning you basiclly stole someone elses money. xD I therefore, do not support this. ;)

Bans are either forever or for a given amount of time. If the person was banned forever, that's it. There's no hope of unbanning. The only hope of being unbanned is when your ban is for a certain amount of time and I'm sure anyone would know they can't throw away the pets/items when it is temporary.

Your stuff could only be thrown away if you're permanantly banned. And the pets as well. And another thing, why are the permanantly banned user accounts not just erased from the database anyways? (After all the stuff/pets are thrown out to the public)

I don't even think the pets should be thrown out to the public.
The whole account should just be cleared, and names cleared as well.
It was their fault they were banned, and the general public should not reap the goods the account used to have just because they lost it.
Of course, this is once the banning is sure to be permanent.

I would say i agree with Uwi.
They dont get rid of the accounts because of the ip address i would asume it is one way they ban.

Hmm...but what if the person has the last of a rare item like a book! But yes probably only baned forever and I don't think you can be unbanned I thought the word of the staff member was to go with and no arguement! I still think something should be down.

Too bad if the book disappears, it's the person's fault for losing it by getting banned xD It's not a great idea to let others benefit from someone's banning.

For items, why not have Estate Auctions? If someone dies with no heirs the state will usually claim the property and auction the property or items within. Note: No one would get the tu made from the auction. |

I had a similar idea to Aria's, as I hate to see items go to waste also. The problem that was pointed out to me though, is that usually these items were obtained by cheating or abusing a certain glitch in V1, and it wouldn't keep things balanced to have them in circulation again. I really wish we could find a way to re-use items but it looks like something that just isn't gonna happen.

Ahh I did not think of that 14! Sure wish there was a way to know what the player was banned for (not public knowledge, that is) But it might help ease my ever loving longing if the Permanent Banned player's items would disappear immediately and the pet names were free'd up. ( without a notice to the res world. Meaning if we actually tried the name at some point we could obtain it by chance) Is "Free'd" an actual word? lol. |

Maybe they will think of something, and theres the fact they never permantly delete a account, I wish we could recycle a account, then names can be used by others(then that may cause confusen for others) And I think if a pet is in the graveyard for a year or longer they should be put to rest and reuse name

Pets already lose their names after they have been in the graveyard for a couple weeks.

That reeks! But what if they have there food pen stocked to the heavens! Then what? Poor names... Or maybe the things on someones account all of it pets and items could be sold for credits! The makers of the site can rate the profile item sell then sell it for 50, 20 100credits and it benifits the site!

Oh yeah, can we have it that if a banned account is 'deleted' the username will no longer be available? I mean, if a new user took a username of a banned member, everyone would be all like 'omg! It's [insertusername]! I thought you were banned!" and that must suck for a new person D:
