I was thinking that there could be a de-vamp potion, meaning, it could turn your pet back to its regular version. (for people who miss the old creatu)

As much as many people will support this, it won't happen. The point of Revamps is to bring the art quality up to par. If people were able to spontaniously devamp their pets, it would defeat the purpose of revamping in the first place. Not to mention, we don't want to have two different designs for each pet running around, the way neopets does (I don't have anything against neopets, but I disagree with their decision to leave pets unconverted). It would also make it easier to get "glitch colors", the way you could when you used, say, a mirabilis morphing potion on an albino gondra. You'd get a missing picture if you devamped an albino mirabilis. And who wants that? ;c

Overall, no support.

No support. The point of revamps is to make the site go forward, not backward.

If you want the old version so bad, just overlay the old image on top of the new one xD

I support, I like the old artwork better on some pets. The new looks too perfect and airbrushed not like real animals.

WHY MY PIGGY? I LOVEDED YOU PIGGY!! WHYYY??

... So does that mean you often see animals running around your home that are lumpy or have stiff, misshapen legs and wings that probably don't work quite right?

Seriously. Most of these revamps look more like real animals than anything we've had. Go look through the Creatu list and find some of the recent ones. Images like the Intes and the Mirabilis. The Aukira and the Chimby. And especially the Cyid, even if it's not a revamp.

Yes, there are revamps out there some of us may dislike, but we just have to live with it. The point of revamps is to improve the site's art quality and to keep everything consistent (something which this item would completely kill). Not to make you upset or take away your favorite pet.

And.. I'm getting a little off the original topic, but I find something to do if they revamp a pet you liked is to just keep positive. I wasn't sure about the new Vogar at first, but now I love it to death. I focused on the good parts (like the superior shading and the improved build and streamlined muscles) and made them become what I see in it the most.

For those few odd things in the revamp, I typed out long-winded constructive critiques to figure out exactly what was wrong. If only for the sake of making myself feel better about it.

It's like how a band's sound may evolve over time. The change may seem a little disappointing at first, but eventually it'll wiggle into your ear all over again, and you wouldn't have it any other way.
