I know I'm new here. And that's why I'm here at the suggestions forum.
I have played many many virtual pet sim games. I have to say, I enjoy the ones with an official tutorial much more than those that don't.
So, I'm suggesting we have a tutorial here. When newbies some, they are directed towards a beginner's tutorial.
They can choose to do it or not. The tutorial, once finished, offers some items and currency to get the newbie started.
It guides the player through the game: hatching/finding eggs, what to do with them once hatched, forums, and a bunch of basic stuff.
Such as; Step one: click on Relcore under the "Explore" tab.

(info)The explore tab lets you find eggs, choose any of the planets---blahblahblah
Reward: ---
Step two: Go to the egg hatchery and hatch the egg
--click--
Good job! (info) ---blahblahblah (stuff about egg genetics/rarity etc)
Step 3.....
And so on, until it guides you through most of the things you need to know so you can enjoy the game without having to ask on forums
or read a long list of rules and whatnot.
So, if there's any questions feel free to ask. I've seen this done in many games like this with no problem, and it really makes a huge difference.
Of course, if there's any problem with this format, it could be also done by objectives.
Like: Begginer's Quest:
(x) 1. (?) Find an egg and hatch it. Reward: ---- (Validate)
--(?): Info explaining egg stuff, click to read.--
--(Validate): Once done, the grey validate button turns green and you click on it to get your reward. --
--(x) once validated, it turns to a green checkmark showing that the objective's completed.--
Both ways are fine, and I would really appreciate if one of the two ways are brought to the game. Thanks for reading!
