Hello together,
I'm quite new here on rescreatu.com. I was looking for a good pet raising game for a very long time. I want to write down my thoughts, suggestions and ideas to this game because I think that it have the highest potential of all pet-raising games. I like the design and many aspects are quite well at the moment.
Positve aspects are:
+ a big variety of species
+ a big variety of colours
+ different rarity-levels
+ 3 steps for a pet to become an adult
+ the concept, that you can find useful items (mainly eggs) by surfing through the world
+ minigames to make money and at odd times
+ other extras like stock, collections, own pages for the pets a.o.
+ ...
But sadly I have to say that this game is soo boring! I want to raise these pets, I want to get special items a.s.o., a.s.o. - But I don't want to do it this way.
This game is boring, because you always have to do the same things: click, click, click. Clicking for training, clicking for searching, clicking for whatever. It's never a new experience doing one thing a second time. You know what will happen.
Minigames to get money is a good idea, but is it really enough to take such a huge place in the game? The minigames are not so multiplex that it would be fun to play them every day.This problem maybe could be solved if there were another way to make money. Of course, if you have rare items and pets you can sell them. But how long did you have to do the same boring stuff to earn enough rare items to get enough money trough trade?
You can say: Well, pay for virtual money and then you can do what you want. What a great idea! The solution for a FREE boring game is to PAY for it. I think this is like cheating and it is not fair to players who really work for their items, pets, collections a.s.o. You make high scores if you paid a lot for the game and not-paying players have nearly no chance to catch up. (a problem, that exist in the most "free" browser games.)
And the Quests? OMG these are the most boring quests in the whole history of quest-creating. It's the same sheme every time. I love RPG and everthing is better than this. Quests need a story, an individual story, a heart, a soul! In Quests you should have the chance to explore secrets, to make hard moral decision a.s.o.! But here? collect that or these or whatever. Very sad. My solution? just creating better quests. For example that a person in a town is looking for a special item. By interacting with him or her you learn that s_he had a family member who died. And now s_he wants to end the life work of this family member by finding the last item of the collection this person worked on for years. Or a person is looking for a stolen item and by asking all the people in town you will find out that one of his or her closer friendshas stolen it because s_he ... a.s.o. But maybe the other members of the community are not interested in this...
Another big problem is, that it maybe would be more fun to train pets or whatever if it would be nice to watch them. But just a little menu for clicking on every training the same options is not very exciting. And the biggest problem with this that you do not have anything from having a strong pet. You just can look on a number.
Ok, think, that is enough for today. Maybe it is just my opinion and the others think all is perfect in here. But maybe you also interested in people who do not want to play anymore and WHY they do not want to play anymore.
