No alerts when you post on a thread you subscribed to.

Two ideas;

a) No alerts are given when you post on a thread you subscribed to

b) a is an option in user settings.

Subscribing to a thread was done so that a user will have an alert if something new has been posted in it. With that said, I don't quite see the point of subscribing to a thread when you don't get an alert for new posts in it.

Frank, he meant that there be no alert when YOU post on a thread you're subscribed to, not that there be no alert if anyone else posted on it. Because you kinda already know there's new activity if you're the one causing it.

That being said, I support there being an option. Some people might need it because they need the URL that directs to their specific post, but I think for the most part most people would appreciate it being off, so I don't think the majority would miss it if it was gone all together.

Support this so much blaaah. I hate it when I bump up a subscribed thread of mine and get excited when I see that alert bar only to be disappointed when I discover it was just me.
