So, Dragonling, Username and I came up with another halloween event, where you can make creatu from other creatu. The saw: A magical haunted saw, which can be used to cut up unwanted creatu, turning them into body parts. This saw can only be obtained in a certain week, or only on halloween. The parts: Say you cut up a kioka you didn't want/ couldn't sell, you'd have one of it's legs, which would need to be preserved with a special fluid/potion or something, otherwise it'll 'rot' and disappear. Dragonling The pets: It would be almost like a voodoo-creature in appearance. Understandable, since they're made from different parts of different creatu. Patched and stitched together, it would be somewhat creepy. Perfect for Halloween. As for colors, it depends on the creatu parts you use. Let's say you used mainly Albinos to make this creatu: It would come out Albino. Same even with dyed pets ~ Also, if you use parts from three (or some number) of different CS pets, maybe it'll even look different? ;D Like a separate creature, just slightly rarer than the other. Other: As for getting parts, use of the saw should be limited to prevent the creatu from becoming too common. Maybe you can use it once a day or twice a week or something. When you use it, you get a random part. Like if you used it on a Meiko, you might get a head, front limbs, rear limbs, tail, wings, or body from it. It's random. If you attempt to get a part from a creatu that doesn't have that part (like legs from a Cyid), it won't work. However, it will use one of your limited saw uses, so you'd need to be careful. ;D That's what I can remember right now o.o; I'll update if I think of something else. (e): To answer your question, it would be a new creatu n.n Two really, if you count the special CS pet one. The artists wouldn't have to make a bunch of combinations or anything ~ For any of the patchwork Creatu, you will need these parts: Head Body Wings
Tail Forelegs Hind Legs Paws Feet However, if you'd like to make a specific patchwork Creatu, you would need to make sure you have the right parts that are needed for that single Creatu. Armadillo:
Rodi Head Goiba Body then the rest, any species. (as long as they're different)
Yer Special thread, preservation potion, a witch to put them together. ideas so far CS pet: Normal pet: Armadillo - Goiba shell + rodi head + ?

That sounds rather gruesome xD but totally awesome. Also, when you combine the pets would they look all the same, like so sort of new creatu, or look like they still have the body parts? I'd like this idea if there was a new Frankenstein-like Creatu but chances are, if it looks like it is mismatched and such, it really wouldn't be put into action because the artists would have draw thousands and thousands of combinations. :/ Although I really do think this would be an awesome idea... but I don't think the staff and everyone could get it up in only a little over a month.

Yeah, it is a bit gruesome. xD If this idea flies, I don't expect it this halloween, it'll take a bit of work, so more like next halloween. I'm thinking it will be a whole new creatu, you could only see, like, stitches were they were sewn together, but not just rag-tag body parts, or it would be too many combos. Also, maybe three or so combinations to begin with. I might sketch examples, or hire someone to.

Same. I'm trying to think of any errors or something that could make this ghfghf. But with the preserving thing, like you would have to buy a potion, for about 20k to preserve a body part, so that way you can't just collect parts. Also, maybe a special thread to sew them together? Or just use the kind that Res already has?

Yeah, a special thread would be good ~ It could stock in shops for the month of October. c: Yes to the preservative potion (xD) as well :o Like the witch or whatever that runs this could occasionally stock the potions 100 at a time for some price ~ (e) She (or he) could stock the thread as well, but at a lower price c:

Perfect. So, how many pets could be made this way? I'm thinking three at the most next halloween if this goes over, then maybe add on on until there is about five or something? ~ Exactly. You must obtain the saw, the preservation potion, the thread, then take it to her and she will create the pet. o: ~ Oh, and I like the limited use thing for the saw, maybe 5-10? Depending on the parts needed to make the pet.

May I suggest something? I was thinking this pet could only be obtained by putting special body parts together. Like one meiko head, gondra wings, etc. The creature could only be made by sewing those specific parts together. Er somethin'.

I had two in mind so far: The regular Creatu-made one The CS Creatu-made one It doesn't have to be all CS pets though, maybe three or four CS parts. xD Maybe there can be another normal one though, which would be random. You'd get either this one or the other normal one when you turn in the parts ~ Maybe one can look more like a mammal and the other a reptilian. There could even be one more like a bird, but it would still be random. It'd be tough to code it otherwise, I think ;w; --- Yeah, we don't want those parts rotting. xD Horrible smell. And if you don't get the parts preserved, they disappear. -poof- --- I think three times a day, 4 or 5 days per saw, would work. ....and Dragon is smart. xD Yes, the randomizing thing is key. Only, I think creatu that we don't have a type of yet, we have plenty of birds.

Rofl, I can see the event now. Kioka leg Status: Rotting. This body part may be used to create a patchwork, you must preserve it using a Rot-B-Gone potion. ~ Or some mess. XD

I still think we need an armadillo Creatu. That's besides the point though xD Yeah, there are a few birds. Hm. I'd go with the reptilian pet having feathered wings, if any, though ~ There are a lot of bat-wing reptiles. xD

I think the parts should be somewhat uniform, though ~ We don't want to have too many to get, or the creatu will never get done. xD I think you can get the eyes with the head and such, and just go for general body parts rather than obscure, single-species parts. Then again, that could work perfectly for the CS version. But I dunno xD

Homg, guys, we rock. xD Hm....armadillo might work, if the art is right. I vote all the pets must look creepy and sinister, though. xD Armadillo pet: Goiba shell/body, Rodi head,.... something with short stubby legs, another one with a thick tail....lots of thinking to do. o:
