Stop the neopetsphobia people |: the fact that a virtual pets site has the option of making your pets look zombie-like shouldn't be qualified of 'OMG NEOPETS D:!!'. Then, the fact that it's a virtual pets site with /virtual pets/, already makes it like neopets. And it just makes no sense at all.

I like the idea of a rainbow dye kit. And I'd say it would be great if it could be used for CS pets ;3

Not really sure about the zombie one, though.

I would like to add something to the suggestion. What about a Neon Dye Kit and a Rainbow Dye Kit? The neon would be clack with bright, neon colours like green, pink, orange, etc; and the rainbow could be white with rainbow markings :3

Keep Neopets out of the subject please, it helps to prevent arguements.

As for the zombie matter, I'd love to see Infection Syringes, perhaps being only avaidable during the Halloween season? Also, I can see why people wouldn't argue against it, as we do have Ebilias, which I always saw as zombie-fied otachies. As for Rainbow Dye kits, I can see how people may like them but personally I'd disagree c:

Erm, if the actual image should be changed to look like a zombie. I think I should abstain from this. It's the artists own choice to take up such a challenge as to re-draw creatu to be zombies. If it's just the colour, how is it going to make it a zombie?

I suppose we shouldn't make the item for zombie making called 'Infection Syringes' by the way. It causes confusion in my opinion. Don't you just hate it when you go to a pet site and ask "how do I get the ninja colour?" and people respond "Get a dark shuriken of doom" or something. And then you ask, "how do I get a demon colour then?" and they say "oh you have to complete that quest of yargobarthar in the caves of Jörmungandr down in blah blah blah". Why can't we just reduce the confusion eh? I find it unessesary to have a million ways to do one thing. xD

The rainbow I had in mind was actually the neon one Makah suggested up there, less pastel-y than the one in the link Ping posted. I like the neon on black/rainbow on white idea, though.

Maybe the creatu wouldn't have to be redrawn completely. Just editted to have hollow eye sockets, a grayish-green color, blood and stains? Maybe some bones showing through like the middle Ebilia? Not like a complete change of pose or anything.

And maybe instead of a syringe, a Zombie Makeup Kit? 

Eh, I'm against the Smbie Dye Kit.  D;  I feel like Res strives to be unique, and--please forgive me for bringing this up again--it sounds a lot like Neopets.  I don't have anything against the site, but I like Res the way it is, with colors and not themes.

Instead, maybe the Zombie Makeup Kit you suggested could be a Halloween item that wears off eventually?  .-.  I'm not so sure.

The Rainbow Dye Kit would be fun, see as it still does go with the color shemes, if only vaguely.  .-.  I don't have any more input on this.

Again, if there's blood stains and no eyes I suppose we should leave the artists to decide to take up such a task. It still takes a bit of time to edit a pet like that. However, I don't think it looks really zombie like, I mean a lot of the creatu would just look like they've been graffitied on and not really zombie like. So what they look like really depends on what aritsts think should be done.

Colours and stuff are things that come with pet sites and most petsites have them special colours like 'mutant' or something. These are key features for websites like these that will attract people to play them. Just saying, 'Res being unique' is not really a good reason to oppose certain things. Res has the right to choose certain features to attract their market and whether they are going to jump on bandwagons. Sorry Lola D:

For those of you still comparing it to Neopets, I don't know what their zombie pets look like, but maybe we could just make them more awesome.

This is what I have in mind. Sort of.

The rainbow and neon look nice Masked, but I still don't like the zombie.

Can we please stop bringing up Neopets? It doesn't matter if Neo did it, Rescreatu is its own thing. And of course some ideas are going to be shared, nothing is 100% original.

To be honest though, I'm a bit against Zombie for the reason that it is too theme-specific, as I prefer the simple colors that we have already. Having Zombie implemented would stray away from the usual Res theme and then there would be demand for more "special" colors.

I like the Rainbow idea, but I'm not completely for it because usually when sites have Rainbow pets, it doesn't come out very nice-looking. Masked's versions are pleasing to the eye so something like that would be good. :}

I have to say that I really love Masked's edits, but I too am against the zombie idea ^^;

Though that neon omni is exactly what I meant =D I would definitely buy an omni to dye it neon 8D
