Can they please be moved to another board? Like Off Topic or General? Because honestly, it's really annoying having the ads I want to read bumped down constantly with "omg, please stay, are you giving stuff away?" It's just crowding everything, and there's a better place for spam.
The new forums will be revamped with new categories and sub-categories, which will help make it very clear where things should go.
For now, if I see a "leaving Res" thread that isn't selling, but is rather a discussion on the user's leaving, I will lock it and ask that it be moved to a different forum by the author.
Support should have the tools to move threads in the new version, hopefully!
