I use users online. Not many people do though, and that is just because it is such a hassle to find people on users online. You have to go through every single page just to check if someone is there, and sometimes there are over 150 users online, making it a big pain in the butt, so I have a few suggestions for it~
1. Put ALL staff at the front. I really have no idea why, but people like support, admins, and artists are shown first, but moderators and helpers (I'm not sure about the helpers, since they are new and all) are shown integrated into everyone else. It just doesn't seem functional to have those two staff positions not at the front like everyone else. It would be much easier to find staff help that is on if all the staff are displayed at the front.
2. Display the users in some sort of order. There may be an order to the current users online, but I haven't figured it out. Acutally, it might be ordered by join date, which makes little to none sense to me. I obviously don't memorize my friends (and the rest of rescreatu's) join date, so I can't find there place. I think there should be some sort of drop down menu that gives you options. Alphabetical, reverse alphabetical, join date (if you really want that), respals/non-respals, etc., and always have staff at the front, ordered the same way. It would make it much less of a pain in the neck to find people if you could order it in whatever way you want.
3. An option to hide your online status. Sometimes I don't want people to know I'm online, maybe I'm just popping in for a second and I don't want people to bother me, which often happens and my second turns into an hour. I'd truly appreciate a secrecy thing that you can turn off and on.

Maybe some way to change your status, and say something like "Busy". Just to keep people from bothering you while you're online.

Have an online status on your profile would be nice too. Something so that if you want to check someone's profile, you can. It would be a nice, simple, quick way to find out whether someone is on or not.

Maybe have a users online search box, which would take the place of number two. that way you can just type in the username of someone and see if they are online or not. Number two might still have a use with this as well though, because some people aren't quite sure what the full username of someone is.
6. I've never quite gotten "pause". I understand that it is the large sb, but why not just call it "shoutbox"? It's a ton of worthless confusion, seeing as almost once a day someone asks what "pause" is.
