Not sure if this has been suggested BUT here we go.

These lovely Zodiac squishies?
Well, my suggestion to the SB was each month or so (Whenever the sign is active) each user who's birthday falls into that time of year gets a pet like this, maybe just really loosley based.
Of course, they would be tradeable, sellable, whatever, so say you're a Cancer and want a Virgo. The obvious answer would be to trade your Zodiac for theirs, but it could go any way. They most definitely would not be unobtainable to anyone outside the sign.
Uh idk. Support or no, I just is brainstormin' here. c:
EDIT: I forgot to mention the most important part; You could stick Homestuck names to them. -pleasekillme-

I like the idea but it seems more work for artist and as we know. Rescreatu needs more artist. But even though, I support! It would be nice to see Rescreatu do something like this about users birthday. :)

Rescreatu alternate them into Rescreatu Pet System of egg, baby, teen, and
adult?

then be like Rescreatu mutants pet system as in egg, baby, adult

Those are good questions and open to interpretation because I have no idea, though I'd like to see them as sort of like CS, whereas they can only HATCH Natural, Black, Albino, and Achro, but can be dyed.

What if we obtain them by a special event or seasonal egg hunt system that can only be access on your birthday/the birthday you put on your account? Zodiac Special Event:
Creatu egg exchange points system? We train in a certain pet/eggs to gain points and with those points we can exchange to get the Zodiac egg?
-Also, those that do egg hunts for users or those that sell eggs to make tu will be able to gain tu since there are some people who rather pay others to do the egg hunt or buy eggs off of them instead of collecting eggs themselves.

Zodiac Special Quest:
Maybe have random items related to that Zodiac around Rescreatu as an random event alert and with that, the NCP who runs the Special Event ask for a certain item per hour just like the and you have to train it in to gain points to get the Zodiac Egg? (Just like how Xespa/Xoria Undead Event) or maybe they can ask multi items and they have different points value?
-Those that happen to stumble upon a special event items but can't access the event can either sell the items or trade them to also gain something also for this event.
When they do the CS pet change, is that when they should do the Zodiac Creatu change as well?
But having them only: Natural, Black, Albino, Achro, and Dye Kits sound fine to me. :)

Okay, I thought of a few things to critic on.  Dem looks lots like a myotis :I  Dem looks lots like a uilus :U  Looks quite like a Valabex  Shaefu anyone?  Ezahni :c  It looks like a Cyid to me.  It really reminds me of a Meragon. Those just look so much like existing pets already, unfortunately. |

We'd have to make them more... Lesslikepets, but comeon.
It's like saying we can only have one dog so get rid of Shaefu, Iluvu, Veram, and Tesuri and we'll keep the Zenirix.

But changing just 'regular' pets into something new and spectacular is something that Res has always done, so I don't know why that was an issue anyways.
I, personally, love the idea of having Zodiac creatu. There is so, so much you can do with the 'idea' of a lion for a creatu. Or a scorpion, or a crab. I mean, there are endless possibilities that one can do with that.

No support for any pet being distributed based on birthdate. That would mean automatic distribution, which means that the person who decides to sign up ten more accounts right before their birthdate hits is going to ruin it for the entire site.
I really think that the pets for this would probably be too similar to already-existing pets like Meg mentioned. What if we had a zodiac-themed effect instead?

Even though a large part will depend on how it looks.
If it's just a little symbol tattooed somewhere, I ... No. Sorry, but I want like.

Like swirly starry affects. and then maybe different pets can be different symbols. Like, for example, if you have a myotis it would be all starry in the gemini pattern and have a gemini symbol somewhere on it. So you'd have about 12 different pets able to get the affect, each with their own symbol they represent in starry-ness c:
