ok so i really want a banner and i want to make it myself  i was wondering if i can get any tips from other people on how to make one and i also dont know how to apply it? help.

Usually, people use digital editing programs such as Photoshop to create banners. But those types of programs cost money.
Possible banner making programs that are free to download is GIMP, Paint.net, and some others.

To apply it? Like with HTML?
You use this:
<img src="url">
Where it says url, you replace that with the image link.
Keep the " " there.
