So I finally see the appeal of the mutants XD And want to try to hatch some, but would like to get a few tips first.
Which is better when trying for a mutant? Having the egg be old or spoiled? I know there is more of a chance to get a mutant from an old egg, but I feel like they give more fails than mutants...but I'm just not sure.
Also, how long does it take for the egg to age? I remember seeing it somewhere, but can't find it. Isn't it a week for it to be spoiled or something like that???
Thanks for responding! <3

If you're only after a mutant, then you can hatch from spoiled eggs. Even though you'll get a lot of fails and the occasional irritating normal pet that's rarer than the mutant, the chances of getting a mutant from a spoiled egg are higher. If you're looking for other colours of the pet, you could try hatching from a fresh egg. That way you have not only a chance of getting a mutant, but also other rare colours. I'm not sure if other people agree with me, but I find Old Eggs a pointless waste to hatch.
Eggs stay fresh for seven days, then change to old for seven days, then remain spoiled from then on. So it takes fourteen total days for an egg to spoil.
