Yay hey u wana join my rp?

It's called a saelourn (Orhinus leviathan).  They're enormous -- females can grow to 90 meters in length, and males to 80.  They're omnivorous fishes that live in the deep dark places of the ocean.  

They are believed to be distantly related to carp, but there is no fossil record of these giants, and very little is known about them.  For all their huge size, they can move very quickly if they have to, and are fairly agile creatures.  They rairly travel in groups, although during breeding season they may be seen in pairs.  Most times, they are seen alone.

Saelourn are surprisingly intelligent, and have been known to imitate the vocalizations of certain species of whale to bring them in close.  Usually they feed on a diet of deep-sea fishes and squids, but saelourn do eat whales when they can get them.  

They are long and narrow, with a long, bony fin along their dorsal side, and two fan-like fins that begin behind their heads and extend fully halfway down their bodies (these are parallel to the ventral side of the fish, as with koi or goldfish).  These fins are extremely mobile, but are usually tucked tight against the saelourn's body when swimming.  They swim with a ribbon- or eel-like motion.  Their heads most closely resemble those of barracuda.

These fishes tend to be colorful, unlike most creatures in their deep-sea habitat, with bioluminescent markings under their skin and long, trailing fins and tails.  The fins are believed to be used in mating displays and disputes over territory, although the trailing, glowing ends also act as false lures to attract prey.

Each saelourn has distinctive color patterns, usually in shades of blue and green, although one or two have been sighted with patterns of colors ranging from yellow to scarlet (a possible subspecies; these two were both seen at considerably shallower depths than most saelourn).

Saelourn females lay one spherical egg per season, nesting in the walls of deep-sea trenches, and are fiercely protective of their eggs and young.

This creature is about the size of a hummingbird if not slightly larger than one. It's soft,silk-like skin is protected by an outer shell that resembles the 'armor' like plating that a beetle has. It's tail extends and feathers out from under this 'armor'...it's about 6 inches long. Most of the tail is made up of just loose skin and muscle. This skin, when the creature jumps into the air, flattens out and acts as a tool to allow the creture to 'glide' when jumping from leaf to leaf or branch to branch. It's feet are flat and wide, a bit of a cross between a frog and a lizard's feet. It's second toe on it's hind legs is extremely long compared to the other toes. Each toe is equipped with a small but very sharp claw, that the creature uses to latch onto any surface. The claw is so small,however, that if it were to land on a human being, it would puncture the skin, but only make a small irritant itch or rash. It's front legs have rouch ridges along the back of the joints (elbows, ankles,etc). It's front feet resemble the back feet, but without the long second toe, and a bit smaller. (Back feet have dew claws, front do not. Each foot excluding dew claws has four toes).

It's chest also has a few layers of loose skin. During this creature's mating season, the males messily eat any berries it can find, making their loose skin upon their chest turn a certain bright color. It will puff out this skin like a fan, and 'dance' in front of a group of females, flashing the bright colors upon their chest, as well as emitting the aroma of the sweet berries that stained the skin. 

It has a rather long and flexible neck that extends past it's 'armor' shell, coming up to a head shaped much like a dinoasaur's. The back of the head is indented slightly, and small ridges produce what might be looked at as 'horns'. But they are very small and angle in an odd way. It could be just an evolutionary method of reducing the amount of heat taken from the sun on the back of the neck and head. The jaw comes at a slight curve, and inside the mouth lie two rows of tiny sharp teeth, and in the back are flat teeth ( making the creature an omnivore ). It's mannerisms are much like that of a small lizard, but it is considered a mammal. ( the skin is not scaley. it is smooth and blubber like a whale's ). This creature also loves to cling to things using it's tail ( like an opossum ). It uses a small tongue within it's maw, to flicker at the air and 'smell' with ( like how snakes 'smell, only the tongue is not forked. ) 

When a female gives birth to its young, the young live inside of the 'armor shell' upon the mother's back until they are mature and healthy enough to walk and glide alongside their mother. These creature mate for life, but have a group. The male claims a 'harem' of females, and only breeds with the few he chooses.  If a female dies in a male's harem, the male will never claim another. It remains with thelast few of his females. If a mother within the harem dies, the young are taken care of by the remaining females. 

Instead of producing milk, the females (while pregnant ) produce a thick frothy la
yer of liquid underneath it's armor shell. This brew of excrements from under the female's skin is packed full of nutrients, and is eaten by the young while they ride under the mother's shell. The smell of the brew is extremely pungent, acting as protection against predators as well ( nasty horrid smell= not good food).

Hiya, Here is mine

 You look deep into the water, you see a large dragon-like corpse laying in the water, its eyes are iridescent and very shiny. You also notice that its coloring is a pale purple and then you notice it has pearls embedded in its skin on its back. You dive into the water to get a closer look, you notice it also has many plates going along from its head to its tail that look like lasanga pasta noodles, they are a deep blue and shine brilliantly. You gently open its mouth and find out it has long sharp, golden teeth that it could use to tare its food apart, Meaning this creature is a carnivore, a creature whom eats meat. There are ridges above its eyes and it has long snout with some of its teeth potruding from its mouth. You notice it is quite skinny and has almost skeletal-like limbs with round fins that it uses to glide through the water and intense speeds.

They are active at night when the moon is shining, the pearls on its back shine brilliantly in the moonlight. You turn over the dragon so its laying on its back. Its entire belly is embedded with sharp shards of amytheyst, definatly not the type of creature you want to cuddle with, you think too yourself. Its tail is long and has a large translucent aqua blue fin that looks like a dolphins, at the end of its tail. They are very beautiful but they are very aggressive, which is why we had to examine a corpse of one so we could get a close look at it and take it back to the lab for more research.

Okay. Lemme give this a try...

The Statso

As an egg, the Statso is a fair size, somewhat the size of a small adult dog. It is a very glossy shell, a grassy green in color. It is very smooth on the outside. As it nears the stage of being a baby, it turns very rough and a very gross colour of green.

As a baby, the Statso is only as big as its egg. It has a very wolf-like appearence, but with small wings and an Hawk-like beak and eyes.It has a playful personality as a baby, also known as a "pup." The tail is as long as a normal wolf's tail, but is literally feathery. It is covered in feathers, in other words. The fur on the Statso is a grassy green and it is very long and silky, but the feathers on its tail are a sky blue and a grassy green, almost like tie-die.

As a teen, the Statso is much bigger, the size of an adult Golden Retriever. It starts to grow a bit more serious, but still has a playful personality. Some of its fur on the rest of its body have started to trun a sky blue, blending in with its natural green colour. The beak grows bigger and stays black and the eyes stay a golden colour.

As an adult, the Statso is the size of an adult human when the statso is on all fours. It is very serious and doesnt have its playful personality anymore.Its fur is still a blend of blue and green, as its nattie colour. Its tail has very long feathers of a blue and green tie-die colour. Its beak and eyes stay the same, making them look a little small for the adult Statso.
