So you're a treasure hunter, eh? Well then, you've come to the right place. My employer is in need of some treasure hunters for a special job, and he has entrusted me to conduct the interviews. But I'm not one to just sit there and ask questions. Honestly, what fun would that be? I've got something a bit more tricky planned.
It starts with a clue...

So yeah, I'm hosting a treasure hunt. It's a series of clues. Some are pretty easy, some hopefully more difficult, and they all lead you to your prize. Interested? Take a gander at the rules and such. Read them all.
1) This will be done individually, and it's not a race. Once the first clue is released, you can start at any time and take just about as long as you need (don't worry, it's not that long).
2) Unless otherwise stated in the clue, you will rmail ME the answer after each clue. There will be a few exceptions. However, you will never have to rmail any user other than myself.
3) Speaking of which, this hunt will require some patience. It is not automated. I can't be on at all times, and neither can those who are helping me with it. So you might have to wait up to a day or so between some of the clues. Usually it will be less, but you should be prepared. A good treasure hunter is patient.
4) Here's an obvious rule. Don't give any of the clues away. To anyone. Under any circumstances. Don't ask anyone to give away a clue to you. Under any circumstances. You're a smart treasure hunter, you can figure it out!
5) If you find yourself stumped on a clue, you may ask for a hint. There is no limit to hints. You may also guess incorrectly as many times as you need to. You will still be able to continue. HOWEVER, if you do manage to make it through without asking for any hints or giving any incorrect guesses, you'll be entered for something special (details below).
6) If you'd like to enter, the fifth word in your post should be "I".
7) I'll add more rules if I think of them.
Costs/Prizes
The treasure hunt will require you to spend a maximum of about 10k. Please be aware of this when entering. The prize at the end will be worth more than that (IMO), plus I'm hoping it will be fun. :)
What's the prize? Well it's a treasure hunt, why would I tell you that?
HOWEVER, as stated before, there is a bonus option. If you finish the hunt without any incorrect answers and without asking for any hints, you will automatically win an extra tu prize.
Everyone who finishes the hunt before the drawing/join deadline will be entered in a drawing for two ebilia eggs, or a few other prizes. (Regardless of hints and incorrect answers.)

You can join and try any time before noon Restime on August 19th, just post here and I will send you the first clue.
So once again, it's very important that no one gives away the clues.
Join/Drawing Deadline
If you wish to join the hunt, you must join before noon Restime on Friday, August 19. If you wish to qualify for the bonus prize drawing, you must finish the hunt before this time. Everyone else may still finish the hunt, but will be not be eligible for the prize drawing.
Don't forget, there is a prize for everyone at the end of the hunt regardless of the time of completion.

A: Yes, all of the clues are Res-related.
Q: Do I need to buy the answer?
A: Unless specified in the clue, all you need to do is tell me the answer in an rmail.
Q: Are the answers items only?
A: No, they could be items, creatu, places, people...anything is fair game. Some clues are more specific than others.
