Users of Res, I am curious. What're you passionate about?I know what I am, but I want to know about you all. I figured this could be a fun contest idea and get people pumped about things. Life can be so dull without being passionate about something, hmm? On my profile, you will see an example of what I am looking for. I am not expecting as much as I have wrote, but that is roughly what I am wanting. I am looking for a nice paragraph or two and some simple coding. Mine is kinda sloppy, but I coded the profile within half an hour and did a really rough job on it xD; The paragraph(s) should tell about why you're passionate for what you are and maybe tell a little about it, especially if it's not something all too common. Then I expect a little coding along with it. It doesn't have to be great, but it should relate somewhat to your topic. I shall give you some basic coding, so everyone at least has some shot at this. [Those will come later, though, as I have to make them.] - - This can be done on either a petpage or your profile.
- - The pet/profile must be yours.
- - There is no limit on how big or small the paragraph(s) have to be, but the more information there is, the better.
- - There does not have to be much coding, but there must be some alteration that relates to your topic.
- - The judging will be more for the writing than the coding.
- - I am willing to bet most will just change the background, and this is fine :)
- - Somewhere on your page, it must say "This is for Sheta's passion contest" with a link to this thread.
- - The coding MUST be COMPLETELY yours, aside from the basic codes that I provide.
You DO NOT have to change your HA for this. I just did that to help my profile xD <3 Changing your HA can be part of your profile, but if it is obvious that it is not meant to be, then I will not judge it. Same goes with your pets.
Judging will be done on a couple of different things.
- - Details in the paragraph(s) about your topic and why you're passionate about it
- - Spelling and grammar
- - Presentation
- - How the coding change relates to your topic
- - That you're being serious about your topic
- - The paragraphs are informative as well as passionate
The basic coding shall be coming soon.
Now, this 'is' a contest, so I'm sure you're all wondering what the prize will be.
Well, since this is just a curiosity contest and I will not be making any gain from it, the prize won't be hugely great, but it's still worth the effort. First place will be 5 Mil
Second place will be 2 Mil - And everyone who enters with an honest try will be awarded 500K
