Name: Calyx Haze.
Age: Eighteen.
Gender: Female.
Appearance:
Standing at slightly short 5'3ft, Calyx isn't much to look at. She has a slender build and a slightly pale skin complexion, seeing that she favors the indoors rather than staying outside in the sun. Invite her to the beach or any other place outside, she would gladly accept and come with you. It's the not the fact that she doesn't like being outside, it's due to the point that she doesn't have to go. Calyx's hair is a little over shoulder-length and is pitch black, with side-cut bangs and some feathering on the sides to frame her face. She has a pair of snakebite piercings in her lip, and usually wears a large hoodie and skinny jeans.
Personality: Calyx is seen as an introvert by others. She's quiet, and only speaks when asked a question or is spoken to. She prefers to stick to herself. When she goes to school, she keeps her mouth shut and simply does her work. She has little confidence in herself and hates to be put in the spotlight. Calyx gets embarrassed very easily, and usually stutters and mixes up her words when talking to anyone she isn't comfortable with. She's always seen reading a book, each day a new one.
History: Calyx was an accident. Her mother nor her father had planned her. Both of her parents happened to be a little on the stupid side. Her father was a drunk and her mother was just.. stupid. She meant well, though. Her father got drunk frequently and would harass and beat the two of them. Eventually her mother separated from her father, bent on starting her life over and raising Calyx, who had been eight at the time. Just a few years later her mother had gotten a job and bought a house, she had died to some sort of cancer, and news that her father had died from alcohol poisoning and a heroin overdose had only recently come to her attention. For the next three years, she lived by herself in an apartment she had paid for by working at a pet shop. Now that she is eighteen, she doesn't have to worry about being caught by the police for being too young without a parent or guardian.
Other: Calyx is often harassed by the bullies at her school, though has made no move to tell anyone.
