"Howl...." Aki said. "This is so unrealistic...Hey! Are you there?!" She followed the other red wolf's scent and found him asleep on the den's leafy floor. "Hey! Wake up you!" she barked as she pinned him to the vine-covered walls of the medium-sized den. "Don't sleep out on me!"

...Well, yeah! You have just joined a world of wolfehs... humans don't exist in this world! mwahahaha! Well, RedWolf, I guessed you'd use Zane, so I decided we could furthen thy relationship wolfwise.

So, you basically got the setting, right? It's in Aki's original den, and we were havin' a discussion about how realistic a howl should be, but I guess you turned and left, then slept out of boredom... That is if you're alright with me using Zane this once, right? Anyways, lets start!

((sorry I came so late, I was watching Slayers right now :) It's my #1 favorite anime! :D ))

Zane smiled craftily as he opened his eyes and found Aki pinning him to the vine-covered den wall. "Haha! Watch out!" he woofed as he slipped out of her grasp and padded behind her. "So, what were we talkin' about again?" he asked, sniffing around for any food. "Say... do you have any food around here?" he asked.

((Slayers? You mean the anime with Lina Inverse and magic? I think I've seen it once... only like one episode though. It's a coincidence that I still remember her name though xD))

"First, we were talking about how good our howls should sound like. Secondly, I don't have any food, 'cause you ate it all!" Aki barked. "I can't believe how I ended up with you..." she grumbled. Now that she was fired up, she walked towards the entrance, flowers blooming everywhere. "C'mon! Let's get some prey if you're that hungry," she woofed.

"Yeah, sure! Let's go!" Zane woofed, running out to take the lead. He stopped as he saw a mouse traverse by and crouched low. Then, he jumped, but landed on a leaf."Huh? Where'd it go?!" he sniffed around, but couldn't catch a whiff of the tiny critter. "I was sure I had it... Oh No! I'm starting to hallucinate because of the hunger!" He rolled over a few times on the ground, then started to crawl like if he was losing blood (or something else that was tragic) towards Aki. "Help meh! I'm dying of hunger!"

"Oh please! You've just gone a few hours without food, and now you think you start hallucinating because of that?" Aki woofed, smiling. She was actually enjoying this despite the fact that she was usually dark and a mystery around other wolves. Maybe I'm opening up to Zane... she thought. She padded around the funny wolf and caught the fat mouse. "See? That was easy! This one was just so fat that he cracked up when he heard you were 'hallucinating'" she happily woofed and tossed the dead mouse over to Zane. "It practically died laughing."

Kioku popped up, smiling at Aki, his older sister. "Where are you going?" he asked, unsure if she was going to go hunt, or maybe take a fresh morning walk. He padded around both wolves and sat down back where he was. He took a deep breath. "I see! So you're going out with this one, eh? Wise choice for someone like you!" he giggled.

Zane rolled onto his back. "Don't be kidding me! Tell me this isn't your brother!" he woofed, taking the mouse and swallowing it whole. "... Now about the hunt," he started, and stood up, stretching and flexing his paws. "What do you want to hunt?" he asked. "Elk...deer...rabbits...mice are too small, so leave them out of the question!"

"Well, surprise! Yes, he is my annoying brother!" Aki woofed unhappily."...And, No! We're not mates or anything like that! So, be quiet!" she barked, annoyed her brother had brought up the term.

Mamoru stalked the noticeable deer on the other side, placing one paw in front of him, flexing his wings for the flying jump. If he failed this time, he'd scare any other prey all around him for his wings were big, but silent. He had the advantage with more agility and strength, so he prepared his every last drop of energy. Suddenly, he lunged straight at the deer, wings spread out and he swished them back and forth to make a flurry of wind and leaves to confuse his prey. Then, in the middle of the confusion, he jumped midair to land heavily on the deer, blowing the wind out of it. He struck his prey with his claws and then pierced its neck deeply with his not-seemingly, long fangs which drew the warm blood out. A puddle of blood formed at the floor and Mamoru held the struggling creature tightly until it made its last move and died. He then let his grip go, droplets of blood falling from his chin down to the scarred coat of the deer. "Now I can eat!"he woofed.

Akina sighed in boredom as she aimlessly flapped her wings, watching them soar and fall on the ground. She lay beneath the warming sun in a flower field, sometimes gazing at the clouds as they slowly p*censored*ed by. Now that I think of it, clouds seem to p*censored* by more quickly when you just stare at them... she thought to herself and sighed once more. She just wished some cute male wolf would come and sit right in front of her.
