A really cool tree that could be where they lounge and sleep.

((Starting))

Ritsika slowly opened her eyes to the new morning sun that always seemed to be blaringly bright. Squinting, she stretched her hind legs out while holding onto the tree with her front claws. Falling would be one way to wake up in the morning. Though she’s never had fear of falling, Ritsika’s instincts were too sharp for that. Swinging her tail from side to side, she made her way down the big Baobab tree. Jumping down from one of the lower branches Ritsika landed softly without a sound. Maybe today I’ll make it to the Oasis before Aljan or Sparrowhawk. Quietly, but quickly, she stepped around Asher, just when she thought she was free she heard, “It’s a bit early for you to be up Ritsika.” Looking over her shoulder at Asher the great cream lion hadn’t even opened his eyes but still Ritsika felt a certain energy that told her he was awake. “I’m just going to the Oasis for a drink, I’ll be back soon enough,” she told him curtly. He’s always baby sitting me. I’m plenty old enough to do that on my own. Though deep in her hear Ritsika knew that she loved Asher guarding her, he was a fierce protector. Running with abandon to the Oasis, Ritsika enjoyed the feel of the wind hugging her pelt and having her paws hardly touch the ground.

Asher, not trusting his new found skills of climbing trees, didn’t sleep in the Baobab tree. “I’m not as flexible or fixable as you young ones are. I’ll keep my paws on the ground for a solid sleep,” he had told them. Though I wish I could have learned as a young lion to climb, like Yoji and Natsuo. Those two were like baboons now! Chuckling to himself, Asher settled in for a little bit longer sleep. Better rest up old man, those two baboons always want to play with you.

Sparrowhawk sprawled out in the hot sun. Laying on his side he battered his sisters back with his hindlegs, doing what he could not to scratxh her with his long, un-retractable claws. Skylark rolled over and pummeled his face with her paws, she sighed, knowing that summer was coming so there would be less water. Luckily for them they lived close enough to The Oasis. She nudged her brothers head with her nose and said, "Lets go cath something and get a ddrink at The Oasis"

Thorneyes lifted her head to scent the air, it was dry and hot like the summer always was, she got up and padded her away over to the treeand layed in the shade waiting for Dingo to come and take her to the oasis.

Walking up to his mate Dingo couldn't help but let a deep rusty purr out, "You ready to go?" he asked before touching his nose to hers.

"Race you there" yowled Skylark. As she ran, right beside her her brother ran equally fast, his eyes glowing with determination.

Spirit leaped out of the tree she spent the night in shaking then leaves out of her pelt. I wonder where what the cubs will get up to today  she supresssed a purr. Those little things are balls of fluff and energy

((Oh yeah, Ever is 2))

Ever saw Yoji and Natsuo standin there and decided to play a little trick on them, making sure she was downwind she crept up behind them andppounced, "Haha Pinned YOU!" she cried out in victory

Yoji squirmed and let out a high pitched raor, that young lions do, trying to get out from under Ever. Thinking, get her tail Natsuo! Not a moment later, Natsuo had clasped Ever's tail between his paws. Ever spun around to face Natsuo.

When Natsuo suddenly jumped at her and wrapped his paws around her head, in a hug like motion, which sent them sprawling on the ground. Yoji followed suit by jumping on both of them. Natsuo couldn't feel any happier, even though mom's not here I'm still happy. These friends love me in a way mom never could. And I get to play with someone other than Yoji, even though Yoji is fun to play with to. Purring Natsuo batted Ever's ear while he nibbled on Yoji's tail.

Aljan hide in some undergrowth as Ritsika came running into the Oasis. Someone looks like the had a good night sleep. She probly ran the whole way here by the looks of it. When Ritsika got close enough, Aljan leapt out of his hiding place and flew at her. Never missing a beat Ritsika swifty avoided Aljan's attempted attack. Both cat's locked eyes and started to smile, not long ago Ritsika would have gotten the wind knocked out of her. She's become so strong and swift with all the knowledge that everyone's been giving her. Ritsika's almost a better hunter than I now. Sighing, Aljan wandered over to sit by the edge while Ritsika trotted into the water. Watching her, Aljan was amazed again by her confidence where ever she was; land, water and trees.
