"Dear.. Are you sure about this?" the thin, brown-haired woman asked, worried, her eyes fixed on a pale girl with very long, black curls. "Mum, I'll be just fine.. I promise you..", the woman opened her mouth to speak but, was cut off before she could get the words out. "- and yes, I will remember to send you and dad an owl at least once a month." she reassured her mother who gave out a small, warm smile. Her mother then kissed on the forehead before giving her a long hug. At that moment a tall man with dark hair stepped beside the two and smiled at the girl. "Now Aria.. I only agreed to this for your education.. No bo-" he started off, but then he was cut off like her mother had before he could finish. "Oh, dad. Me and you both know that I'm not too keen on boys.." Aria said looking up at her father, while she freed herself from her mother. The man chuckled and kissed his daughter on the forehead, "That's my girl.". "Goodbye Mum, Dad. I love you both." Aria said softly, her mother started to tear up. "Dad, Take care of mum." she whispered to the man, who winked in return. They said a few more words and goodbyes, then the man and the now crying woman walked off leaving Aria alone with a trolley that supported her trunk of luggage and a grey, tabby cat with a silver chain around it's neck. Aria looked down at the cat and smiled, "Ready for Hogwarts Mori?". The cat only stared back and meowed at Aria before she walked straight through a barrier between platform 9 and ten to platform 9 and 3 quarters. Mori the cat followed, close by afterwards. Aria's pale green eyes gleamed at the red train that read 'Hogwarts Express' in a golden yellow. "Wow.." she said, under her breath, in awe. She was then snapped back into reality when she was pushed by a passing by-er. Better get going. Aria squeezed through the crowds of people and finally found a compartment near the middle of the train, and it was empty. First she picked up Mori and said "Go inside now, Just go inside the compartment an' take a seat.", she then put the cat back down and off inside the train it went, following orders. Aria then heaved up her heavy trunk inside the train and into the compartment, without any help surprisingly as she was a rather petite girl. She let out a sigh of exhaustion before taking a seat next to her cat, who was curled into a ball with awake, blue-green eyes. She picked Mori up and placed her into her lap and Mori then re-positioned herself into a ball again. Aria was wearing a green plaid skirt and a white blouse with a green plaid vest with the crest of The Slytherin House. She also wore black stockings and black flats, and also a grey cardigan. A few weeks back she had went to Hogwarts with her parents to take a tour and to be sorted since she was 16 and would be studying Year 6, she was sorted into Slytherin. She sat there in the compartment alone, only with her purring cat in her lap. She looked outside the window waiting for the train to start. ||Should she and Draco meet on the train? or at Hogwarts around the time of the feast? and what house should she be in? O3o.. I'm kinda leaning towards Ravenclaw or Slytherin but, I'm like stuck Dx.||

((I think she should be in Slytherin. :D Instant excuse for bad blood between them, because she isn't totally pureblood, and most Slytherins coincidentally dislike Mudbloods. And Draco of course is one of them, so yeah. I'd have them meet in the Slytherin Common Room after the feast, though. Is that ok with you?))

"Who's that?" Blaise nudged Draco rather hard in the ribs at the Slytherin table in the Great Hall, looking over at a girl with long, black curls. He frowned, not knowing her. He thought he knew everyone in the school. "Dunno," Draco replied, "but she's wearing Slytherin robes. I think we'd have noticed her before now." "She might be a transfer," Blaise observed, "it'd be fun to mess with her." Draco raised his eyebrows at the dark-haired Slytherin, knowing how he liked to play with his girls before pulling them in. "We've never had a transfer before, though," Draco said doubtfully. "I don't even think they're allowed." "They are," Pansy chimed in, "says so in Hogwarts: A History." "Who reads that crap?" Both Blaise and Draco looked disgusted, but Pansy looked offended. "I do." Draco shook his head. "Not going to go nerdy Granger on us, are you, Pans?" Pansy sniffed. "Definitely not." "She doesn't look like a Pureblood," Blaise said, bringing them back on topic, "at least, not like us. See her posture while she eats? And the way she handles her knife and fork?" "Bad breed Pureblood, then," Draco sneered. "Figures. No other school would probably want to keep her." Blaise stared intently at the girl. "She's quite pretty, though." Both Draco and Pansy turned their gazes on her, also looking hard. "She looks rather like a pig," Pansy said, dismissively. Draco thought this was a bit rich for her to say, seeing as she had often been described as pug-looking, but he didn't say so, not wanting to hurt her feelings. He knew how possessive girls were, and how they instantly got their claws out when they felt a threat. Hence, he knew how to appease her. "She's not nearly as pretty as you are," Draco smiled at Pansy, who accepted the compliment with grace. She only felt platonic to the blonde, and she knew he did as well, so they felt comfortable. "Thank you, Draco." Suddenly, the students in the Hall began to stand and move up, and they guessed they had been dismissed, not having heard it because of their conversation. "I might just introduce myself to the girl back in the Common Room," Blaise said mildly. "Come on."

It was a rather good feeling she felt to finally arrive at Hogwarts. Even although, it was dark, the castle's flickering lights seemed to light the night up. Not to mention the also glowing stars and the crescent moon. Aria was quite amazed when she sat there, in her carriage looking at the 'nothing' that seemed to pull it. She knew it was a Thestral of course, but, she hadn't ever once witness any death so therefore it was invisible to her. She sat alone in the Great Hall. Eating only bits of food as she didn't feel at all hungry, maybe it was because some of the Slytherin's at the table kept on glancing at her, possibly talking about her. She looked across from the table with her pale green eyes at a girl, large and square-like eating away as much she could hold. Aria forced out a smile at the girl and asked, "Erm.. What's your name?". For a moment the girl stopped eating and gulped. "Millicent. Bulstrode." she said, her words and eyes cold. "Oh cool.." Aria whispered, under her breath, so no one could hear her. Millicent then continued on eating, stuffing a spoonful of mashed potatoes in her mouth. Aria then forced out another smile, this time with a slight disgust. After a couple of minutes, the Headmaster, Dumbledore announced to the students to head off into their coommon room for a while then have a good night's sleep. So Aria stood up and headed into the hallway. The halls were already crowded with people and she had to squeeze her way through a couple of times to arrive at some stairs which headed down into a dungeon, The Slytherin Common Room. A few people were already there. One whispered 'Pure-blood' and the brick wall opened up to a large room which was obviously furnished with many green and silver objects as those were the house colours. It was a very grand sight to look at. Aria hurried in after the others and the wall became 'solid' again. She sat down on one of the dark green leather sofas and shivered. It was cold in the dungeon, something she had to get used to. Out of her pocket, she grabbed what appeared to be a tiny pocket book. She also pulled out her wand and with it she tapped the tiny book and it started to enlarge into a novel-sized hardcover. She flipped it open, and began to read, trying to ignore the hushed whispers.

"Really?" Pansy whispered to Draco. "A book? Who's the nerdy Granger nerd now?" Draco smiled mockingly at the girl, although he wasn't sure she saw it. "I'm going to introduce myself," Blaise said, with an air of haught. He walked purposefully to one of the leather sofas the girl had seated herself down on, until he was standing in front of her, towering over her. "Why, hello there." He gave her a charming smile. "I'm Blaise Zabini, and I've only seen you recently. It's alarmed me, because I'd think I would have noticed so beautiful a girl as you before. Might I enquire as to your name?"

To her surprise someone was actually talking to her. Aria looked up at the towering figure. She closed the novel, already half-way finished and placed it on her lap. She looked at him, pale green eyes bright and she gave out a small, warm smile. "Erm- Thanks. And it's nice to meet you Blaise. I'm Aria Blest. A transfer student studying sixth Year classes." she said politely, yet quickly and sharp. She continued to gaze at him. Waiting on what he would say. ||omg, fail Dx.||

"Pleased to make your acquaintance," Blaise replied, taking a hand of her's gently and turning it to press a kiss on her wrist. He had the whole Pureblood introductions down pat. "I'm pleased to know that you will be in the same Year as me. What class will you be taking?" Draco and Pansy watched from afar, and saw that Blaise's display had also attracted the attention of most of the Slytherins, who had been wondering who the girl was. When they had found out she was just a boring transfer, they quickly turned away to restart paused conversations. "She'll be putty in his hands in no time," Pansy smirked. "Such a pity." "I wonder if Blaise has found out about her parents yet," Draco said, "I want to know if she's a Pureblood. If she is, she might make a good snog-partner." "If Blaise doesn't get there first," Pansy laughed, "but really, why are you talking so crudely about the new girl? For all you know, she might be your dream girl." "Yeah, sure," Draco scoffed, "I don't go for nerds." That was a lie. He was quite the nerd himself, loving to read in his time at the Manor during the holidays, because there was nothing else to do. He especially loved Potions and Charms, but he'd never tell anyone that. It would ruin his image.

Aria couldn't help but, broaden her smile. A chill went down her spine as she felt Blaise's lips against her wrist. Her cheeks started to flush a light red. "I'm going to be taking the classes of Study of Ancient Runes, Arithmancy, Divination and Apparition. With also Ancient Studies and Art as some extra-curricular studies," Aria said, her voice like a ringing melody. "What will you be taking?" she asked placing her hands in her lap. Aria then looked around the room, examining all the different faces of the other Slytherins. Some were cold, other perhaps still staring at her like they had at the table. She started to fumble along with her fingers, waiting for Blaise's reply.

"Honourable classes indeed," Blaise smiled, cocking his head slightly to the side. "Of the classes you have mentioned, I find it rather unfortunate that the only classes I have with you are Arithmancy, Divination and Apparition." He invited himself to sit beside her, still grasping her hand. "So, Aria. I would like to know much about you. What do your parents do?" As he said this, he absently studied her perfect, delicate hand.

"Oh yes, and it's only one class without me," Aria explained, smiling again. She pinned back the loose hairs in front of her face behind her ear with her free hand. She took his offer to sit beside him and looked at him intently, awaiting on what else he wanted to ask or say. She then finally opened her mouth to answer his question, "Well, both my parents work in the Ministry. My mother's a muggle-born witch and works in the Department of International Magical Cooperation. While my father, he's a pure-blood, works in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.." she told him, noticing how he seemingily was examining her hand.

"Very honourable jobs, too," Blaise said, smiling yet again, although this one was only slightly forced. So her mother was a Mudblood. That was...interesting. Still, she was a pretty thing, and he wasn't looking for commitment. "Well, I find I'm tired, and I'll be going to bed. I'll see you tomorrow morning? We have Divination together first, I think."

"Mhm.. yeah.." Aria said, agreeing half-heartedly. She then again, fumbled with her fingers, sometimes she would take a glance at the clock, which was giving off an irritating tick. "Oh, yeah. I understand, that train trip is quite tiring. And yeah, I guess I'll look for you tomorrow morning after breakfast.." she said, looking down at her lap. "I guess I'll be off to bed too, It's quite late.." she said, yawning and looking at the clock. She stood up, smiled and waved at Blaise and went off to the Girls Dormitory.

Blaise waited until Aria had climbed the stairs of the Girls Dorm before making his way back to Draco and Pansy. "I don't know what to call Aria," Blaise shook his head. "Technically, she's a Pureblood, but her mother's a Mudblood." "Easy," Pansy sneered, "she's a Mudblood as well then."
"Halfblood," Draco corrected. "At least, that's what we'll call her." Pansy and Blaise nodded. "She'll probably make friends with the Mudblood Champion soon, although with the Scarred Saviour and the Red Weasel." They all laughed at the immature nicknames. "Yeah." "You still going to go after her, Blaise?" Draco asked, "'cause you know, if you aren't, I might just try." "We can both try," Blaise replied with a leer, "and may the best man win her heart." Draco just smirked and shook his hand. "Deal." "Boys," Pansy shook her head, chuckling. "I'm going to bed, guys. See you." The boys waved her off, and then went to their own dorm. Draco was extremely competitive, and he knew he was going to win this. He'd introduce himself to Aria the next day. Luckily for him, he had the same classes as Blaise, which meant he had classes with the girl as well.

||Alrighty then! :D.|| Aria yawned and rubbed her eyes. She rose from her four poster bed and sat there, thinking for a minute or two. "Hm.. Where did I put it..?" she asked herself, looking under and in front of the bed. Alas, she found what she was looking for, a peice of parchment. She was very focused on the peice of parchment, and read it over 3 times. "Okay.. So Divination.. ah, yes. With Blaise.." she said before hurrying off to get ready. She wore her usual uniform, this time, with a Slytherin robe over it. After brushing her long, curls she prepared all the books she needed for today's classes. She looked at the clock, checking for a time-check. Aria picked up all her books, which were rather heavy and stuffed her wand in her robe pocket. She then dashed off to the Common Room and out to the halls. Aria headed for the Great Hall for breakfast. When she had arrived she searched the Slytherin Table for an empty seat, which was pretty hard considering she had a large pile of books in her hands, blocking the front view of her. Aria at last, found an empty seat between two boys, who were talking with their mouth's full to people across from the table. She sat down, placing the tower of books under the table, Aria then rubbed her forehead in relief and exhaustion. She took a fork and knife and placed some eggs and bacon onto the glimmering plate and began to slowly eat, still having a small apetite.
