[[LOLOLOL. Yeah, we did. XD

Liek, this woman moves into this house that's full o' spirits and the like. Most of 'em are bad, but there are some that are good. A few of them can make their bodies 'solidify', but it's only temporary. One of 'em decides he likes the looks of teh new woman, and romance and shiz happens. The spirits don't like sharing their home with da living, though, and will do their best to get rid of the living person, even if it means just making her a dead person.]]

[[Sure thing. <3 /late/]]

Noises. There were noises outside, and Powra didn't know what was causing them. He did, however, know they were bad. Someone was moving in today. Some things had already been brought in, and already the majority of the boxes had been moved around, or the contents switched, or simply left in places the newcomer would find them. This was the time he hated most, the time when everyone was talking of what theyd do with the newcomer. Whether they'd let them settle in first, then turn them slowly insane, or just knock them round the bend in the first few days. Maybe even just make a convenient 'accident'.

He didn't think about any of those things, though. He didn't even know what he was doing in the house still, besides the fact that he had nowhere else to go, no one else to turn to, and all his famly and friends were long gone. Yes, life wasn't as much fun as it used to be; maybe because he wasn't even alive in anything more than spirit. Still, what he was thinking about was whether the person would leave before they got killed. Whether they knew that in the history of the home, dozens of people had died from accidents or suicide. Or that such deaths had begun with one man committing homicide on the rest of his family. It was doubtful, for there was no reason they would move here if they knew.

Walking slowly over to the doorway, he stood, ready to greet the newcomer. Not that they'd even see him, not yet. Even if he was solidified, they wouldn't see anything more than a hazy mist. That would all change when they'd been here a while, though. As it were, the only hint they'd get of his presence would be cold air when they stepped either near him or, as had often happened, through him.

[[ Ahhh. I'm so excited! I missed role playing/procrastinating with you :DDD
+ Is this one of those big haunted houses or ...? Because I just realized it's just my character living by herself. xDDD ]]

"Yes mo-... Don't worry, mom. I'll be fine here..."
I kept on encouraging my mother that I would be safe in my own home in a different state (Where are we? :O) as I walked up the porch steps to my knew home.
"I've lived in plenty of new homes alone before mom..."
My mother kept going on about how her 'baby' has never lived this far away before.
"It's still the same... I'll see you every other weekend and every family gathering..."
I kept comforting, as I found the key to the home and motioned for the guys to come inside to help me with the furniture. My pure green eyes shone excitement as I latched the key in the lock and twisted. Opening the door, immediately a cold shiver passed my bones.
"Hey, mom, can I call you back?... Ye-... Yeah mom. Alright. I gotta go. Don't call back, I'll call you..." Breathing an irritated sigh, I finally said the words 'Love you, good bye', and gladly hung up. Did she think I couldn't do this? Did she not believe in me?

"Hey, can we turn the heater on or something, it's freezing in here."

I said, rubbing my forearms as I walked inside. I usually am more on the 'calm' side, but right now, knowing I was the one in charge, anxiety swept through my bones for just a moment or two. This was my new life - and I had to make sure everything was perfect. It was close to winter, (If that's alright.) so I wore a blue sweat shirt and black sweat pants and old tennis shoes. Leaving my figure all for imagination for the gentleman. I guess you could say I was the type of person that would rather hide my figure then show it off.

One of the guys did turn the heater on, though it was still cold. I guessed it just needed time to get all around the home. I pulled my long brown hair up in a messy bun, my bangs covering one of my hazel eyes as I led the men around to show where to put everything. Excitement pouring through every pore, I wandered around the home once all the guys new what to do with putting everything together. I would be helping them with the 'not so heavy stuff' later on. Walking the hallway slowly, feeling the anticipation from my nose to my toes, I finally came to my bedroom. Smiling, I looked around at the mostly empty room. Soon my wardrobe would be in here and my bed. But, for now, it was just one small white bench that would be at the end of my bed. Sitting down on it, I looked around at the walls. The paint job was good in here as well.

Everything was going perfect. Just as planned.

[[A big house, I guess. It's kinda run down, though. It's not like, big-big. Just not small. And that's grand, I don't know where they are, you can decide. xD]]

Powra tensed up as a young woman walked in, hoping and praying she wasn't to be the new... plaything. She was talking to someone, and walked through him without even noticing he was there. They usually did that, but it didn't mean it felt any better. Still, might as well make her feel welcome; she wasn't going to for much longer, anyway. Not if the others had their way. She was young, pretty; he took her appearance in, She'd been talking to her mother, by the sounds of things, and even if he had died out before mobile phones were incredibly popular, he still understood them. Her eyes were unusual, a beautiful shade of green. What a pity they would end up shut forever if she stayed here. His own eyes were a hazy silver, as they always had been; death hadn't changed his appearance. He was still just as tall and slim as he had been in life, and his clothing wasn't much different to how it had been in life. Denim jeans and a tie-dye shirt, they hadn't gone extremely out of style. He could always claim to like the seventies, after all.

He sighed when she mentioned about the heating. Maybe coming to greet her hadn't been a good idea, but he had already come, may as well go through with it. ''Welcome, may your life be long lived and your spirit remain strong.'' He gave a light bow, the unruly black curls of his hair falling down to cover his eyes. He reached up to brush his hair out of his face, looking at her again. She looked a little shy, but maybe that was just her appearance. Just because she didn't wear skirts that revealed all and necklines as low as the skirts were short didn't mean she was shy, it just meant she had self-respect. Still, he couldn't help but wonder how she would get on here.

The unseen spirit moved along quickly behind her, wondering why he was so fascinated with this one. They had decided they'd give her time to settle in, then make her go slowly crazy. Give her a chance, as they called it, but he knew she didn't have one. Normally he'd have stayed out of the way, not want to get involved, but this time, he wanted to learn more. How odd. When she sat on the bench, he leaned against the wall opposite her, pondering whether she'd go insane and kill herself, or suffer an 'accident'. Either way, he doubted very much they would let it be an easy death. Maybe he could persuade them to go a little easier this time, but he doubted it.

I stayed on the bench for who knows how long. I was one of those thinkers, that could disappear in an instant, my body being here, my mind being else where. My lips stretched to a closed smile as I closed my eyes.

I think the one thing I'll truly miss is my father. We had a strong relationship, a true bond. To be completely honest, I loved my mother dearly, but we never made that bond. Teenage girls never want to have a bond with their mom. And by the time they are all grown up, the girls and mothers are too far apart. I frowned at the thought. She was annoying; still treated me like I couldn't do things on my own. But that didn't mean she didn't love me. Didn't mean we couldn't fix the relationship.

The familiar ring tone set to tell me it was my mother called me destroyed the beautiful silence. I opened my eyes and sat up straighter. I told her not to call me back!

"Hi, mom."

I said softly, hiding my irritation. Just as I kept going on with a pointless conversation with her, telling her how the house was going so far and if everything was settled in yet, the guys called me downstairs. I guess something was wrong. Rubbing my head from the painful headache set upon me, I ended the call.

"Alright. I love you mom."

I didn't waste my breath to say not to call me back. Hanging up the phone, I rolled my eyes once more. She didn't miss me. She just didn't think I could handle this new phase in my life. She wanted to have the control. I turned my phone on silent so that no one else could disturb the wonderful peace in this house, and walked down stairs to see what was amuck.

[[Wahhhh. Didn't give you anything, sorry. D: I was thinking one of the guys could find something weird about the house. Like creepy weird, since it is a 'haunted house', but I didn't know what. xD]]

[[I'm so sooooooooorrryyyyyyyyy. I had exams all week. x3 On the plus side.
SUMMER NOW WHOO.]]

Powra watched her closely, wondering what she was doing. She didn't appear to be doing anything, really. Maybe she was having a seizure. Or a stroke. Or... Something. She was smiling, though. It was a nice smile. She wouldn't be smiling if she was dying, would she? Then again, why would it make a difference if she was? She'd end up dying sooner or later. Sooner than later if she stayed here. Much sooner. Some of the others made bets, to see how long it would take. All they betted was the right to brag at ahving the most correct guesses. Nothing special, but nothing special was some fierce competition to those people.

She seemed displeased when her mobile phone rang again, although Powra himself relaxed a little, not realizing he had been tense. At least she wasn't dead, anyway. However displeased she was, she managed to hide it when she answered the phone. He heard the voices downstairs, and a part of him wanted to see what was wrong, but mostly he wanted to see what she was doing. She seemed to have a headache,  at the very least, probably stress of moving. She was going to have to get used to stress.

When she went downstairs, he followed. He moved past her into the living room, where the light was dimming and going brighter than it should have been irregularly. An alarm began sounding, probably the fire alarm. To the humans, it would be seeming to happen for no reason. To Powra, however, the reason was more than clear.

Hanging upside down from the lights, a small child was hitting them repeatedly, apparently trying to break them. Every time his hand fell forward, however, the lights dimmed, brightening as he hit it with his other hand. He was apparently trying to blow the fuse. He didn't look like an ordinary child, either; a bloody stain in his shirt and a tear revealed a gruesome hole in his chest. Victim of a 'mad' past resident, his own father.

Near the fire alarm stood a rather tall young woman, dark-skinned, her hair falling over the left side of her face. Just as well, as it was burned profusely, and wasn't a pretty sight. If only those humans knew what they were stood next to, they probably wouldn't be stood there scratching their heads. They'd be out the door.

As I walked down the hallway and down the stairs, that cold chill came back. What was with the heating system; shouldn't I be burning up by now? Pulling my sleeves of my sweatshirt to cover my cold hands, I crossed my arms and walked into the entrance room where all the men - supposed to be moving boxes - were rubbing their chins, scratching their heads, and looking completely at a loss.

"What's the matter, boys-"
I stopped in my tracks as the fire alarm sounded and the lights flickered. Again, I was usually the calm, cool, and collected type. But now everything wasn't going right, I just wanted to scream. Hit something. Or cry in the very least.

"Come on. I thought we already fixed the lighting!"

I said, running a hand through my bangs to get them away from my eyes. A couple of the men went over to the fire alarm to see what was going on, while others were already getting a ladder and looking at the lights. Sitting on top of a couple of small boxes, I brought my elbows to my knees and my hands to my forehead. Nothing was going right! This was supposed to be my time to show my mother what I could do. To show that I could do everything on my own. Everything had to be perfect.

After finding my composure, I wiped my right cheek where a discreet tear decided to leak out with an irritated swipe, then walked back to the entrance to help the boys anyway I could.

[[ Wahhhh you're back! -tackles -
I missed you. D: But yayyyy~ SUMMER!
I didn't know if you had any ideas, or I could have time skipped to when they fixed it and left. :D ]]

And, I do have SOME ideas. Not sure how well they'll go down with da builder mens, but here ja go. >D]]

Powra watched her walk in. She looked cold, pulling her sleeves over her hands. Not surprising. He was a pretty cold guy to be around, after all. Not to mention the residual energy of pain that resounded throughout the house, the icy tendrils of hurt at every corner. She looked exasperated as the men being trying to fix the problem, unaware of the fact that the spirits there were not looking happy in the slightest. Ignoring them, he walked over to her. She already looked like she was going insane, and she hadn't even gone through the night yet.

There was a teardrop on her cheek, and Powra suddenly had an urge to do something that would make her feel better, even after she wiped it away as if it had never been there. If only he were as good at conveying good energy as his 'friends' were at conveying bad, maybe he'd be able to be of some use. He wasn't, though, so he would just have to think of something else.

The lights were flickering everywhere now, and a dull ringing noise could be heard, getting louder and louder. It was just as she was passing under one of the lights that he realized what they were trying to do and, moving as quickly as he could, he tried to reach her. The light over her head exploded, sending glass shards in all directions. Miraculously- or so it seemed- not a single shard had so much as scraped her skin. Then again, perhaps it only seemed incredibly lucky because no one else could see the arms wrapped around her, and there was no way she would have felt him there.

Or, at least, he hoped so.

He didn't have time to think on the matter anymore, as the lights in the other rooms began blowing one by one. It was only as a breeze swept through the room that the ringing noise stopped, the lights stopped exploding, and the fire alarm shut itself down. Apparently Lome had decided to tell the others to stop for now.
