We've been changed. Irrevocably, eternally. I don't know what's going on. But I'm different. We all are. We've been changed. Won't somebody help? Plot Wolves have been taken from all over, and sent to a classified laboratory to be...tested on. They've been injected with DNA, chemicals, and all manner of things. And they've begun to change. Now, the wolves are getting restless. More powerful and more volatile than ever, one thought has started in everyone's mind: escape. This is a private roleplay for Feyth and Lola. Ooc// M'kay~ Here's my char: Name: Khyber Gender: Male Age: Young Adult Personality: Somewhat naive, and a bit ignorant, but he has a good heart. He's hostile around humans and those he doesn't know, and can be a bit volatile when under stress. He's very protective of those that he cares about, but isn't always so. Khyber can be charmingly pessimistic. ;D Powers: Hm. Khyber can bend shadows and create illusions, as well as duplicate himself up to three times. Wings: No Looks: Khyber is a relatively normal-looking wolf, with pure black fur and amber eyes. Later in the roleplay, his eyes will become dark violet, but will retain amber flecks. He's slightly undersized for a wolf of his age, but he's very fast and agile, which makes up for his lack in strength. Other: Nope. ^^

Ooc// Yus. ^^ Bic// Khyber was running. His heart was pounding, his feet flailing, trying to get away. From what, you might ask, was he running from? Well, the answer was painstakingly obvious from the snapping of sharp teeth at his heels and the growls on an angry alpha wolf behind him--he had trespassed a bit too far into another pack's territory. And now, he didn't care that the scents of humans was overwhelming him. He only cared that his pursuers had finally dropped off. He didn't realize why until he ran, headlong, into the cage. --- Khyber opened his eyes with a slight whimper. Where am I? The floor was cold and solid beneath him. What appeared to be...stone trees?...crossed in front of him, stretching from the ground to a roof of a strangely shaped cave. He was trapped between the stone trees and the flat back of the wall. He flinched as the scent of humans assaulted his nostrils, along with a myriad of pack scents and the aroma of fear. He cringed. What was this place? And then the humans rounded the bend, carrying a vast amount of what appeared to be small, shiny twigs. He yelped as one pierced his skin, and then everything went black.

ooc// hmmmmmmmmmmm... -light bulb- IDEA! bic// Avalia ran after the retreating wolf, her teeth barred. "Coward, come back and face my wraith!" She chased the other wolf much faster than the rest of her pack. When she ran out of breath and was stumbling, she ran headfirst into a cage and before she could get out, she was trapped, the door of the cage locked. She yowled for her pack, after all, what would they do without her, their alpha. She lay down, her paws over her nose. She wasn't one to show emotion, but she had a brother, he would be the new alpha-of course- but they were two wolves who never went anywhere with eachother. Lost in her thoughts, Avalia barely noticed when the cage stopped moving. However, she did notice when the cage was roughly thrown into a corner with a ton of howling wolves. A jumble of words reached her minds, but they didn't mean anything to her. Something about new wolves and expiriments, but she was oblivious to the meanings of those words. She watched as the scientists pulled a wolf from its cage and dragged it away...

Khyber woke up again with a feeling of lost time. He was back in that strange, rectangular cave, his head buzzing. The thought repeated insistently, Where am I? With a shudder, he tried to stand up. His legs shook, and his very veins seemed to buzz with something....strange. He couldn't place it. With a groan of effort, he wobbled over to the row of stone trees. "Where am I?" he rasped weakly. He could smell the other wolves. Maybe they would know.

Avalia growled and rattled her cage trying to get to the other wolf. "You're the one that I chased out of my territory!" Avalia realized and pushed on her cage, attempting to knock it to the ground and get to him. "You're the reason I'm stuck in this metal!" A snarl rose in her throat and just as she was about to try and push the door open, she was grabbed from her cage by a man in a white coat and taken to blaring white room. As she was set on the table, everything went black as she was knocked out...

Ooc// Ooh.... :3 Bic// Khyber stared blankly at the she-wolf, astounded by her viciousness, and opened his mouth to ask her how she could still be mulling over that when they where in such a strange place, but she was pulled from her own little cave. Feeling slightly put out, Khyber curled up at the back corner of his cage and shut his eyes. If only sleep would come, and perhaps this would all be only a strange dream.

When she came to, there were men in bright coats standing over her. Sghe attempted to snap her teeth at them, but she was muzzled and the most she could do was give them the stink eye. She was determined not to show fear as the first needle slid into her pelt. It was a claming sensation that came over her and made her unprepared for what came next. With a jolt of pain, a second needle was rammed into her body and sharp pain coursed over her shoulder blades as fire raced through her body. She felt her shoulders elongate and while one, she could hear, grew crackling bones, the other felt soft and feathery as it pushed its way out of her body. Suddenly, a fierce wave came through her body and turned her blood metallic and silver and washed away all her thoughts that were coursing throguh her brain. When she came to this time, she was back in her cage, in darkness and completely alone...

Khyber started awake as the stone trees groaned and....swung outward. Not trees at all. He frowned, seeing that they were strips of something, perhaps. Whatever they were, they stunk of oil and man. Shaking himself and trotting over to the edge of the strips that barred him from freedom, he saw the limp form of the female being put back into the cage. Curious, and hoping that he wasn't the only one feeling strange after getting back, he stuck his muzzle through the cage doors. "Are you all right? What happened?"

Avalia groaned, hearing the annoying voice of the male wolf. "I'm fine." She snapped, but it didn't have the same force behind it. She felt weak and in pain. Something was on her back and she couldn't shake the feeling off that they were wings. She sighed and turned away fro mthe male wolf as her eyes clouded over with fear...

The humans behind him had yelled, and motioned to a small hole that had appeared in the side of his cave. Carefully he had walked through it...and now he was free. The buzzing in his veins hadn't gone away, but a careful feeling of happiness buzzed with them now. He had gotten used to it, though something about him still felt different. But it didn't matter now--he was free. Breaking into a run, he headed for the nearest exit--only to find a fence encircling him. Confused, he realized that this was not freedom--only a bigger prison. He started back to where he had come, seeing other wolves emerging. Some looked hostile, others friendly, and most of them as scared as he was. "What is this place?" he whispered.

After only a few days, the ex-Alpha had gotten used to her wings and was now flapping around near Khyber. "Khyber, its a place of evil." she said, feeling the area around pulse with darkness and evil. It was a newfound ability she had. She dipped her wings and flew down, landing lightly beside the other wolf and chewed on the stringy meat that the scientists and brung them...

Khyber shot Avalia a look. "Evil? Perhaps not evil, but strange, certainly." He moved away from the she-wolf a few paces--her wings unnerved him. Only a few of the other wolves seemed to have them, and those that did seemed for too like Avalia--meaning that they most likely had been alphas before they were kidnapped--for his liking. Frowning, he flicked his tail and moved away further. He couldn't help but feel slightly left out--why did only a few wolves get wings? The rest of them seemed normal, except for that strange buzzing since the humans had taken them into their experiment rooms.... Ooc// Maybe only alpha wolves have wings? |D And the rest of the wolves don't know they have powers yet? :3
