Name: Anthony (Tony) Ryder Personality: One of those goofy, loving people, Tony isn't afraid to let the world know he like men and he's not in the least bit ashamed of it either. He is a pretty likeable person, trying his best to stay on the good sides of others. He also has this little habit of ending up crushing on straight guys, which ultimately breaks his poor little heart. He loves his pink armwarmer gloves, by the way, and is usually seen wearing them everywhere.
Other: He's gay. 8D
Power: Sensing emotions and slight control of the emotional atmosphere. Oh, he can also turn into a lion, but only when threatened. It's a...natural response for him. Personality: A huge sweetheart, Evan puts everyone before himself and refuses to let people do things for him in many cases. He absolutely loves everybody and he tends to also attach himself to people when he's upset, which happens often. Now, he doesn't cry, but he does get pretty upset pretty easily. Appearance:

His indecision about his preference between male and female has him doubting every other thing in life too. Ice cream? Used to be a chocolate guy. Now? He can't decide between Peach and Coffee. Though he is indecisive, Connor puts out that bad boy front instead. He refuses to acknowledge the fact he is attracted to males, though his actions prove otherwise. Calls everyone 'love'. Name: Jared O'Shea Age: 17 Power: Gravity Manipulation Personality: Though Jared is extremely gay, he's not the type who will go around announcing it or making sure the public knows. He's the type who will admit his sexuality if you ask him. Which, for the most part, goes for the rest of his life. He's not going to tell you something unless you specifically ask about it. This causes problems among his closer friends because he's never telling them what's happened to him unless they ask the right questions. This can lead him to be irritating at times. Jared, when not keeping his mouth shut, is very observant. He takes in everything around him and keeps it there. Appearance: He's clean shaven though. :3 Other: He is... A flaming homosexual.

Through the thick of the shadows, a man was sitting on an old crate, glaring at his hands. A man? Not anymore. The agency, government, whatever you wanted to call it, had screwed him up. He was different from all the other subjects. He was their first attempt to make another like them, the powered ones. An attempt that went entirely wrong.
"Well, sh*t, Connor," The vampire muttered to himself. "What have you gotten yourself into?" Granted, he hadn't gotten himself into anything. His father, one of the scientists, had. What a bastard. He lifted his gaze from his hands to the space they were occupying. It was spacious, but there wasn't much to it other than the piles of dust. He could probably steal some furniture or something like that. Hey, the government was already looking for his freaky ass, so why not add a few misdemeanors to add onto that?
Connor's gaze passed each of his 'roommates'. He wondered what in the hell they were. Probably not like him. They probably had those 'powers'. Thanks to them, he was what he was. Not that he was going to put blame on anyone, that is...
Jared was examining the warehouse carefully when he heard Connor muttering to himself. He couldn't hear what the guy was saying, but he really didn't care. He glanced over to the vampire, taking him in. Jared could appreciate his looks, but they weren't for him. Connor was way too... Man for Jared. Yuck.
Turning back to the steel walls of their new home, Jared noted that it was a stable building. He wondered why it wasn't in use, but he couldn't help but be thankful. It hid them when no one else would. Okay, so they haven't really asked anyone if they would hide 4 fugitives, but Jared had a feeling that anyone in their right mind would say no.
Jared's eyes flashed to the other two people in the place, Anthony and Evan. He was sure they had nicknames, but he hadn't caught them. He wondered what they had, as in power. Maybe they didn't know. Jared was still confused as to what 'Gravity Manipulation' was. The scientists had told him that's what he had control of, but didn't explain it further. Figures.

Evan blinked and looked up at the male sitting up on the crate, his blue eyes curious. His powers weren't anything even remotely useful, but he could know what people were feeling...so he stood up and moved to climb up as well. He reached out to place a gentle hand on the vampire's shoulder, smiling gently at him. "I'm sure things will get better," he told him softly with a small tilt of his head. Sure, he wasn't sure of that...but it couldn't get much worse could it?
"Eve you're so helpful!" Anthony teased after a little bit, leaning back on his hands and laughing when he saw Evan blush slightly. He moved to lean back and stare up at the ceiling, sighing lightly as he tilted his head. He was bored, horribly so. His eyes slid closed after a little while as he relaxed, sighing softly once more. He was terribly bored and unsure of what they could do to amuse themselves...to he just started to mess with his armwarmer gloves.
Evan pouted over at Anthony after a moment before he relaxed and looked over at Connor again, blinking once as he cocked his head slightly. He hoped he'd be okay...

Connor heard Evan come over to him before he saw him. He sensed his touch before he touched him. But, that still didn't remove from the fact that the vampire was startled when he felt a hand on his shoulder. A gentle hand, at that.
Connor had to hold back a hysterical laugh at Eve's comment. Alright? There was no way this situation was going to get better. But, he appreciated the friendly gesture that the boy was offering. He awkwardly patted the hand that was on his shoulder. He looked up at Eve and gave him a soft smile.
"Thanks, man," He said genuinely. It was weird to have someone being nice to him, for once.
Jared glanced over at the scene that was going on. A flash of hot pink caught his attention. Was Tony wearing pink arm warmers? How had he not noticed this before? Wow, his observation skills were really lacking right about then.
With silent steps, Jared made his way to Anthony, sitting down criss-cross next to him. He pointed to the arm warmers, cocking his head in a curious way.
"Why pink?"

Evan smiled in return, this soon growing into a grin. He lowered hsi hand after a moment before he cocked his head, looking truly curious. "So Connor... Um, what had you so upset?" he asked, pulling his knees up to his chest, looking at Connor and waiting for his answer. He wanted to know what had gotten him so upset...
He moved to lightly lean on him, hoping his relaxed feelings at that moment would rub off onto the other like they seemed to do nowadays. He closed his eyes, then sighed softly. "You know, it could have been worse..." he said softly, looking up at Connor with a smile. "We could have ended up in different places all alone. At least we're all here, together."
Anthony blinked when he was talked to, looking over at the male who sat beside him. "Why pink?" he repeated, tilting his head before he grinned and held up a hand. "I like pink," he replied, looking over at the other and sat up. "Why?" he asked, cocking his head to the side. What a curious question. |

Connor glanced down at Eve as he leaned on him. He wanted to pull away, but at the same time, he didn't For some reason, he felt oddly comforted by the boy's presence. Maybe it was his power? Or, maybe it wasn't. The vampire physically tried to shake the thought from his head. Nope. It had to be his power.
Connor shrugged at his comment. "I guess it could've been worse, but it could be a hell of a lot better, too," He muttered, looking around the old, dusty warehouse once again. "But, you're right. It could be a lot worse." With that, Connor smiled warmly at Eve.
Jared grinned at Tony's display of his arm warmers. He seemed like a goof. With a quick sweep of his eyes, Jared examined Anthony's appearance. "Well, pink is just a really bright color. I mean, all the other colors you're wearing are dark shades and hues, but then you have the bright pop of color."
Jared shrugged nonchalantly after his comment. He found himself looking at the boy's lip ring, wondering if it hurt like hell to get it done. He'd never been brave enough to get a piercing or a tattoo. Granted, he was barely brave enough to get his shots done.

Evan blinked, then smiled back and rested his head against the other's shoulder, closing his eyes slightly as he relaxed further. He closed his eyes the rest of the way after a little while longer, yawning softly.

Tony giggled, shrugging. "I like to pop." He stretched out his arms before he leaned forward, grinning. "Besides, the pink fits me!" he said happily before looking over at the other with a wide grin. "Do you know why it fits me?" he asked, crossing his hands over his lap as he cocked his head to the side and flashed a wide, happy grin.

Connor was mystified when Evan leaned his head against his shoulder. Had he given the guy permission to do that? He certainly didn't remember doing so. But, still, he didn't push him off. It was an enjoyable feeling, to be leaned on. Call Connor that type of guy, but he needed to be needed.
"Hey, just fall asleep on my shoulder," Connor muttered to Eve. Though, he couldn't hide the smile forming on his face.
Jared leaned forward, leaning on his elbows. He put his head in his hands, looking up at Anthony curiously. "I don't know, but I bet you're going to tell me." He paused and flashed an equally wide smile at the boy. "Please?"

Evan chuckled softly, looking up at Connor with a warm smile. "Sorry... The whole emotion sensing tends to go off and do its own thing... Everyone's pretty calm now," he said softly, looking perfectly relaxed. "I can move if you want me to; I wouldn't want to be a bother," he said after a little while, glancing back up at Connor. He really couldn't help it; he felt what the others felt.
Anthony giggled, leaning in so he could whisper "Because I'm gay~!" into his ear then pull back, flashing the arm warmers again along with a wide, goofily happy grin. He wasn't ashamed, and he didn't care who knew he was gay. He'd tell the whole world if leaving this warehouse wouldn't get him caught and possibly killed. "That and I'm a goof, too!" he chirped, leaning forward. "I like being able to stand out in a crowd, which is weird because I think the scientist people told me they gave like, the ability to blend into any environment... I think that's how they pur it..." He tilted his head, seeming thoughtful now. "I dunno why they'd give an experiment that ability because I mean if they escaped wouldn't be impossible to find them without some sort of...heat-goggles or something?"

Connor nibbled on his lip ring silently as Evan spoke about his power. He wasn't jealous that he didn't have a power, just more curious about the others who did. Well, if you counted his heightened five senses a power, with a very unusual side effect, then yes, he did have a power.
Connor smiled down at Eve, waving his hand in front of his face as if to physically swipe away his offer to move. "Nonsense. Stay as long as you want; I really don't mind."
Jared couldn't help but giggle along with Anthony. His bubbly personality was... Well, quite contagious! And the pink really did make him seem like a goof. That was definitely the vibe he was getting from Tony now. "Camouflage? Ohh, tell me about that! I used to read books about supernaturals and powered people and whatnot, but I've never heard of that ability." Jared paused to give Tony a wide grin.

Evan blinked when the hand was waved in front of him before he smiled softly and closed his eyes. "...Alright..." he said softly, the now giggly emotions of the other two making him chuckle softly. "They're in an awfully good mood," he murmured softly, smiling as he opened his eyes enough to watch Tony and Jared interact.
Anthony giggled. "Um, I dunno! Hold on and I'll see if I can do it," he answered, shifting slightly and trying his best to concentrate. After a few moments he appears to fade, clothing and all, from the view of anyone else. He returns to sight a moment later, laughing softly. "Wow, I really need to practice that," he giggled softly, blushing lightly as he rubbed the back of his neck, an adorable little crooked smile on his face. |
