Toboe woke with a start. He couldn't sleep tonight. He had been having nightmares since his sister died. He couldn't stand not having her around. He padded out of his den and looked up at the moon. It was full and it's errie beams shown down on the forest. He pointed his muzzle towards the moon and howled a long agony filled howl. It was probably the saddest one he had let out yet. He looked at his paws and continued to pad out of his clearing going for a midnight watk.

Heaven heard another wolf's howl and respond with a howl of her own.She howled for a good long while before she stopped and walked deeper and futher into the forest.she was thinking of her older brother and how he had died protecting her.Her father,the Alpha,was really sick and old.So in a few days she was going to become the new Alpha-Female of her pack.So in those few days she need to find herself a suitable mate.

Toboe looked up. Another howl had answered his. He was confused because no howl ever returned his and then he shook his head and thought he had heard stuff. He continued to pad deeper into the forest thinking about his loving sister.
