     Necilia didn't know what to do now, so she sat down beside Ariana and begane to wash off Tsume. There was something wrong, Necilia knew it as soon as she touched the cloth to Tsume's body. "Saphire..." Necilia said, she didn't knoe how to say it. "Tsume... Tsumis dead." necilia said, turning to look at Saphire in the eyes.

Sapphire felt herself hit rock-bottom.  She let her broken lag dangle off of the bed while wrapping her arms around her other leg, crying into her pant-leg.  She was feelign depressed, and the last time she felt this horrible was when her father kicked her out of the house.  She wanted to talk to her mother, but knew it wasn't going to happen, and now her dog was dead. She didn't bother answering her.

The sound of siren's in the distance showed that the ambulence was on it's way, but Sapphire ignored, she just wanted to die. "..Necilia...Get out of here...." Was all she said after awhile, she had finnaly stopped crying.  The Ambulence was in frotn of the house and talking to the father, who was telling them where his daughter was.

 "...You'll get hurt, if you stay, and hell will break loose.  I don't think that other guy will go after you, and...Personally if he goes after me I'd welcome it with open arms." She looked at Tsume a second, then back at her. She;d die if anyhtign happened to Necilia.

     Necilia stood up, she nodded to Saphire. She snapped her fingures and Ariana ran past her, up the stairs and out the door. She jumped on Chaos' back as he went by and followed Ariana down the dark street on his back. The ambulance p*censored*ed her quickly, going to the basement. Necilia watched for a while over her shoulder, wondering if she would ever meet up with Saphire again. 

    Necilia turned and faced forward, she could hardly believe all of this had only happened in one day. /Not even one day.../ She thought. 

As she was beign loaded into the Ambulence, Sapphire made one last glance at Necilia and Chaos.  /At least you still have your friends.../ She thought to herself.  She wanted to be with her...She wanted to tell her father to go to hell, she wanted to get up and follow after Necilia, she wanted that b@astard that attacked them to just go die, she wanted at least for Tsume to be at her side.  But she realised that what she wanted to do and what she could do were two tottaly different things. 

 She wished her father wasn't homophobic and trusted her daughter, but that wasn;t what would happen.

As the ambulence doors shut, there was one man inside, looking at her.  She didn't bother looking at him.  He had long hair, that was obviously dyed, he had naturally green eyes, and at first Sapphire couldn't tell if it was a man or a woman.

"Miss?" He asked.  Of course he didn't get an answer.  "My name is Alexis.  Your father requested me to be your escort," He said.  Sapphire gave him a cold glare, and he just dropped his gaze.

"...I'm sorry about what happened.  I was by the police car and kinda heard the whole thing.  I'm sorry abotu your dog, and I'm sorry abotu what happened.  Personally I don't mind it if your a lesbian." He said to her, makign her snap at him.

 "I'm sorry, did he send you as my escort, or my personal a$s-kisser?" She growled.  He sighed.  "I'll get you an I.V, it should help with the pain." He said movign the the back of the truck to get one ready.

"Just leave me alone." She hissed.  He was insistant on keepign her at least concious.  "..So, that woman with the tigers.  She was kinda cute." He said, trying to start a conversation.

"Yeah, good luck trying to get it.  She'd kill you before you even had the chance, moddon." She growled, glarign at him as he starfted to put in the I.V

"Don't worry.  Women aren't exactly my type." He smirked.  "Besides.  I knew if she was hanging out with you she'd be one hell of a person." He said smiling.

"..I take it your hubby taught you not to disrespect me."  She smirked.  He looekd back down.  "Actually I'm single and in the closet because of your father..." He mubmeld.  Sapphire looked at him a little sorry even.  "...I thougth it only pissed me off...." She mubmeld, then back down.

 "...Thanks."  She said once the I.V was in.  "No problem, miss." He said smiling again,

     At the hotel, Necilia climbed oof of Chaos and let the go threw the rotating doors first as always. As soo as they left her side, she felt like someone was watching her, she spun around, too fast for a human to see, and caugh a glimpse of a cloaked figure backing into the shadows. She sent a hiss into the midnight air. She turned after that and saw an old lady staring at her, she smiled, revealing her studded fangs and fled swiftly and gracfully into the rotating doors.

    Inside, Chaos and Ariana were waiting for her, they looked at her as if they were say 'what took you so long to get threw that door?' Necilia smiled sadly, and walked toward the elevator. "Hello Miss Necilia." The person behind the counter called to her, she waved back and kept walking, she didn't feel like chatting it up with humans at the moment.

    It the elevator, she pussed the number 46, and the doors closed, she lived on the top floor, and her apartment was all of floor 46. She wondered what kind of place Saphire had. The elevator doors opened again and she walked into the small place outside of her apartment. She jabbed the keys into the door and pushed it open. Only to find that the place had been wrecked completely. Her mouth fell open and she droppped her keys as Chaos and Ariana ran into the room growling and hissing. She picked up her keys and closed the door.

     On the door was a note tapped up. It read,

"I know where you live. And I know which room your friend is in. Don't underestimate me,it'll lead to your death.
-A cloaked friend."

     Necilia spun around and pulled the door off of its hinges, and ran threw it. She jammed the elevator door repeatedly until it opened. She dashed inside and jabed the 'floor' button and 'close doors' button. Chaos and Ariana barely made inside. Downstairs, she ran to the frontdest, startling  Kasey behind it.

     "Wheres the hospital??!!" She almost yelled. "HUh?" He asked, closing the magazine he was reading. "THE HOSPITAL!" She yelled, slamming her hand on the marble top counter, cracking it. Kasey, wide eyed and looking at the counter, answered shakily. "Its 10 miles down that way," he pointed," Take a right then a left and its right there, you won't miss it." Necilia had already turned and was out the door before Kasey finished. Chaos and Ariana were having trouble keeping up with herr.

     "Whats going on??!" Ariana asked Chaos, "Id don't know, but the smell from that note and the one coming off of Necilia (fear, anger) means something bad in going on. Chaos said, panting already. Necilia was far ahead of them, and still going.

The police officer, insecure father, and chief of police.  He had just arrived home and sat on the armchair in his house.  It was strangely small house for three people.  A german shepard padded over to the man and lain down next to him, he glanced at the dog, then looked back at the celine.

"...Sapphire, I just don't knwo what to do with you...." He mubmeld.  He hated that fact his child was a freak.  He hated the fact that she was insistant on lettign everyone know she wasn't straight.  She didn't like that woman she was with.  He knew that Sapphire had gotten hurt.  That's the main reason why he's keeping her off of the job. 

He glanced over at the stairs, then back at the dog.  "...Welp..It would appear your playmate is gone, Samuel." He said leaning over and pettign the dog, making the german shepp lean into the pet.  "I have gotten m y daughter a special body guard.  He's much more than just an escort, and he'd be willing to give his live for my baby girl." He continued.

In truth.  He loved Sapphire.  She was his only child, she was a girl, she was just as good as her old man, she could do anything she set her mind to.  She was on top of everything, all of the boys at the police station wanted to get a date with her.  He smiled thinking this.

But one day, she went to her father, and said she needed to talk to her father.  Then she told him soemthign he'd never forget.  He frowned.  What was worse was he kicked her out of the house because of it.  Of course his wife, the one who didn';t care that she was lesbian.  She just loved her daughter.  She yelled and screamed at her husband for sending her baby outside of the house without even a coat.  It was hotter weather at least.  But ashe only had a fifty dolar bill, and she didn't even show up at the police station for two weeks.  She can back, and looked slightly malnourished, showing she probasbly went about a week or a half withouyt eating, but she didn't let anything show. He wanted to die for allowing any harm like thaty to happen to not only his daughter, but his ace in the hole.  He never made it up to her, but she never asked, and she just pretended it never happened.

Whenever he needed to talk about her daughter he always went to his beloved wife.  She had always talked him through things, and told him not to worry.

'She is a very talented, beautiful, resourcefull girl.  She can do whatever her minds puts her to.  You should be proud of that, love.  Note resent her.  She's different, no big deal.  This is what she wants, don't stand in her way."

That's when he decided he wanted to talk to his wife about this.  Mary would know what to do.

"Nora."  He called up.  The walls were thin, she always heard, but he got no answer.  He called again.  No answer.  He got up, and the German shepard stood up too. "Samuel, stay here, okay?" He said, and the dog lain back down.

He climbed the stairs.  Somethign was amis.  He walekd to her door, slowly opened it, and looked inside, eyes wide, something very akin to fear creeping itno his wide eyes, as the color faded from his face.  It was that moment he wished he let his daughter talk to that intelegent woman before she was carted to the hospital.

In the hospital Sapphire was in room 607, and she was sleeping.  The only time that ngith she was trully peaceful.

Near her bedside was that tall man.  His long blue hair trailed down his back, his green eyes saw through even though the lights were shut off.  He was on suty.  He was the most serious at this time.  Even though the father didn't let it show, he believed his haughter.  Something attacked them, and he knew it.  Alexis was the best of the best.  An *censored**censored*ain and a body guard.  Which made him chuckle at the fact that if the chief of polive did find out he was gay he'd not be sitting next to this beautiful woman right now.  Protecting her.

"I believe what attacked was a vampire...."  He said quietly.  "And I also believe that woman she was with was one two.  I've been to that club....The vampires are real.  I just wish I could've talked to Necilia."  He said with a sigh.

"I've been training for years how to use a sword, how to aim from great distances, and I know how to fight anything.  You'd be surprised at what I've seen." He smirked.  "Just know.  As long as I'm protecting you.  You're golden." He said.  Becasue even though that frail-looking *censored**censored*ain looked to be only in his early twenties.  He was actually three hundred years old.  And he may not have been a vampire, but he knew how to fight one off.  And he would, as he said, keep his promise.  As soon as he had someone to protect he felt he had reason to live.

     Necilia reached the hospital quickly an pased outside of the door waiting for Ariana and Chaos who were supposed to be faster than she was. (I forgot to mention, I guess they're vampire tigers or something... XD) When they came around the corner, she turned n her high hell and zipped into the lobby. It was quiet there, because it was night time of course. And, lucky for her, there was no one at the front countert. She smirked and headed towards it just as Ariana and Chaos came in.

     She grabbed a clipboard from behind the counter and fliped it pages quickly. She found Saphire's name and room number and wheeled around, running far faster than humanly possible. He heels clicked far too loud and quickly down the hall, but she didn't care, she had to get to Saphire befre the cloaked figure did. She spun around a corner and jamed the 'up' on the elevator door. Ariana and Chaos were right on her heels now, they were determined to keep up wuth her.

    The doors opened and she slid inside before they were fully open, using only one of her cat-ike features. She pressed the 'close door' button and the doors shut. The machine climbed slowly and Necilia walked back and forth in the small inclosed space. The dor dinged and she raced out of there, heading right for Saphire's room now, her heeld giving her away. /That ok, I want him to run from me/ she thought as she reached Saphire's door. She stiopped for only a second's notice to smell her surroundings. There wasn't anything going on, so she opened the door # 607 quietly and slowly. She saw a shadowy figure close to the bed, she hissed minasingly.

(Will be revealed. ^^ Lol, now I can use the cloaked guy to my advantage. >3)

 The man stood up, gun aiming towards the woman.  He could have shot her, and killed her with that gun, and taken care of the tigers instantly.  That was no ordinary gun.  He had it specialized for killign vampires.  Hell, he could have killed her in hand-to-hand combat, or even if she did fight him and beat him she couldn't kill him.  She could never kill him.

What kept him from doing so?  He saw her on his way into the ambulence to stay by the girl's side.

"...What do you want with Sapphire?  I'm her body guard, and I'm not letting anything happen.  Rest *censored*ured she's in good hands.  You must be the woman that was with her.

He said sitting back down quite calmly.  Crawling out form under that bed was a black wolf.  It glared at C

haos, then it looked back to his master.  "...It's fine, Ivan."  He said, watching the dog snort and go back under that bed as if nothing happened.

"The area you two were in....The vampire that attacked you.  The whole place was clean as if nothing ever happeend.  I had a friend in a low place do that for me.  Nobody knwos it even happened.  However, Il iek Spahhire's style." He said iwth a smirk, a lock of blue hair fallign across his face. 

     Necilia, still posed to attack, sent a quick glance in Saphire's direction, only taking her eyes off of the stranger for a tenth of a second, but she saw enough. She looked fine, sleeping peasfully. She was now studying the guy beside her, lingering on the weapon in his hand, and the dog under the bed.

      Choas growled at him from just behind Necilia, and Ariana gave a load hiss, lashing her tail. "Hey, Chaos, whats going on?"Ariana asked Chaos, looking at him from the corner of her eye. "Don't know," he answered." But the human is okey." He reported. 

      Necilia relaxed, leaning back onto her heels and keeping her chin high. It wasn't a defensive or offensive position, but one that would allow her to move in any direction at any time easily and quickly. She nsapped herfingures and both Ariana and Chaos backed out of the room. Once they were out, she closed the door.

     It was dark in the room, and her eyes adjusted instantly, and there was only a corner of the room lit by a very dim light in the corner which left her whole body in the dark. Her fangs were growing too, reacting to her mood. "Who are you?" She asked, her voice like warm, silky chocolate, how she always sounded when she was aggitated.

"....Alexis Moore.  And under the bed is Ivan.  A shapeshifter, but perfer's to stay a dog.  I myself have only seen him in human for once, and I barely got a glimpse and we've been working together for over fifty years."  He smirked.  To this there was gentle growling from under the bed, but it was quickly ignored.

"...So, what's the deal with you and Sapphire anyway?  Because obviously I've seen you around, but...I'm supposed to kill anyone who isn't a nurse..." He said with a light chuckle, then seathed the blade.  He was far from letting his guard down, but he knew the person wasn't a threat, or the tigers.

     "Necilia." Necilia was defensive again, "And there isn't a 'deal' with us." Necilia said, /he probably thinks Im drinking her blood/ Necilia thought. She looked around the room again, and smelled. That guy wasn't here, it didn't smell like her apartment had when she had arrived. But she wanted to make sure, vampires that go that way usually get more elusive than before.

     She moved forward, towards the bed, she didn't care how confident this guy was, if he got in her way there was going to be trouble. She moved over and stood in front of the lamp as she turned it on, not wanting it to wake up Saphire. She looked around the still dim light room, nothing. She switched it off and moved to the curtins, she pulled them back quickly. She frooze, seeing the hooded figure outside.

     Necilia's eyes widened in horror, they were on the 25th floor and he was outside the window.His red eyes flashed ibn the darkness, boring stright into hers, he smiled. HIs fangs, which were already sticking out below his lips, her extremely longand thick. Definatly not the normal size of vampire teeth. Then, before Necilia could do anything, he just disappeared. Fallin it would appear. 

     Necilia leaned forward, tryng to see where he went. She heard a noise and whirled around, thinking it wa that guy beside Saphire only to realize it had been a mix of a snarl and a growl that had ripped its way violently from her throat. She took a deep breathed, and stood up instead of crouching like some kind of animal. 

     She looked at Saphire's peaseful face, /this girl.... has really gotten me wound up./ she thought. She cleared her throat and pulled a peice of paper from one of her pockets in her oversized black raincoat and a pen from her boot. She scribbled something on it as she walked back around the bed. "That is why I'm here." She said, her voice a purr, as she refered to the thing that was outside the window.

      She put the paper down beside the guy, it had her apartment building and number on it. She turned on her heel and opened the door, Chaos and Ariana sprang to their feet when the door was open and looked inside. 

     "That thing.... You can't kill it. No matter hat kind of weapon you happened to have the nerve as to point it in my direction this evening. Only a  vampire can." She said, looking at the floor, her hand on the door handle. She looked at the guy. "Keep her safe." She spat, nodding her head in Saphire's direction. "If you don't and something happens to her, that weapon will be down you throat before you have the time to say 'oops'." She growled and slammed the door behind her.She snaped her finguresas she pased Chaos and Arian, theyfollowed immediatly.

     She took the stairs this time, curseing hersekf that she din't take them the first time. Instead of running down them, she jumped off the side of them, p*censored*ing all of the 24 floors below her in a blur.She hit the flor hard, binding her legs to take the impact. She came up slowly, and felt dizzy. She needed food. She waited for Ariana and Chaos as they followed one at a time the same way.

Before anything was done Alexis smirked.  "I'm not a vampire.  So don't worry." He said non-chalantly.  After her seeign the hoodded figure he looked slightly annoyed, but that was it, he frowned lightly.  "..Master's back..I wonder what he want's." He mumbled.  Ivan crawledo ut from under the bed, yaned and looked at the tiger's, then back at Necilia, curious as to what tghe noise was.

"You're right, my dear.  I cannot kill it.  It made me." He chuckeld at her pathetic 'threat' to kill her.  As soon as seh departured the figured opened the door and wlaked in.  "Hello." He smiled.

(You didn't tell me that and you said I could control the hooded guy. Dx  Okay, okay, I'll scratch that post.)

Before anything was done Alexis smirked.  "I'm not a vampire.  So don't worry."

After Necilia left he frowned, looking very annoyed.  "I cannot believe she thinks just becasue it's a vampire I cannot kill it." He smikred, lookign at the black wolf.  "...It cannot kill death.  Period."  The wolf shook his head and jumped up on the bed next to Sapphire and lain down resting his head under her hand.

"..How cute...five-hundred years and things are still so...Complicated."  He said with a sharp sigh.

     After leaving the building, Necilia couldn't stop thinking about Saphire. She wished she had been awake, buy she was also glad she was getting some rest. Her mind went over to the guy that was with her. "Alexis." She said the name outloud. She stopped and sighed. She looked down at Ariana and Chaos. They looked up at her, they looked tired, but they wouldn't leave her side. "Come on." She said, she turned and looked up the side of the building.

     "There." Necilia said, she could se they scratch marks that led up the side of the building. SHe walked over and put her own nails into them, the marks were much much larger in camparrison. This worried her. "lets go back inside." She said resignfully. Ariana and Chaos lowered their heads and followed her. She walked up the stairs this time, slowly that she could here anyone that was sneaking around.

      On the floor that Saphire was on, she stopped again, only hearing a suspicious noise once, but it was only for a brief second. She kept going, Ariana and Chaos right behind her. She sat down outside her room in a chair. For some reason she didn't trust Saphire's new body guard. Ariana slid under the group f chairs surprisingly well, Chaos layed down at necilia's feet, putting his head against her leg.

      Necilia couldn't sleep, but sometimes she wished she could.
