Luke has black hair and beautiful grey eyes. He's about 6'5 and has an above average build.
Personality: Luke has anger problems, from being bullied by people. He's resentful, and never forgets an insult. Lukas is also intensely loyal, proud and brave, though he hates people pointing that out.
Crush: Open
Powers: Can control weather and summon lightning and thunder. Also can fly, but this and controlling air take lots of effort.
Weaknesses: Has a fatal flaw of loyalt, He would give up the world, rather than a friend or family member.

Age: 18
Godly Parent: Thoth - Egyptian God of writing and knowledge
Appearance: The type of girl whose looks can certainly draw attention. She stands at a full 5'9'' in height and a somewhat slender build. Her clothing is a white strap-sleeved t-shirt, brown belt, short red skirt and brown sandals. Her hair is a very bright shade of red, and her eyes are bright green (the eyes actually glow with their own light).
Personality: Very intelligent and can solve even the most difficult of problems, but she fears being made fun of for her intelligence and thus tries to hide it. She isn't the most social girl, but once you get to know her then you'll find that she is sweet, kind and very loyal. She's a very sweet girl, but if you make her angry then it wouldn't hurt to know the number of a good doctor, if you know what I mean...
Crush: Luke? :3
Powers: She can shapeshift into the form of a Caracal (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/43/Caracal_hunting_in_the_serengeti.jpg), and has limited control of electricity (i.e. she can badly electrocute someone, but only if they touch her and only if she chooses to do so). Can jump to incredible distances and heights. In the dark (e.g. at night or in a room with no lights on), not just her eyes but her entire body glows with a bright light, and she is unable to control this and is thus ashamed of it.
Weaknesses: Suffers from an incredibly severe case of vertigo and thus this restricts how high up she can jump (if she goes too high she will faint out of fear). She is also unable to swim, and suffers from Arachnophobia (the fear of spiders).

Akila wasn't the type of girl who liked big crowds. Far from it; she preferred secluded places where she could have more time to herself. Knowing that, it was no surprise that she could be found in the forest on that sunny autumn morning. The weather was, unusually, quite pleasant; the sun made the atmosphere neither too hot or too cold, and a gentle breeze was refreshing on the skin. Akila liked this weather, though she had to admit she preferred warmer weather.

She was walking along by herself, and looked like she was daydreaming as she went. She snapped out of her daze, however, when a cobra raised its head right in front of her and assumed the universally-recognised attack position of the species. Akila looked at the cobra, completely unafraid. After all, Archah was only her pet and was this was her way of saying 'good morning'. Akila reached towards the venomous creature, which coiled up her arm and rested its head on her shoulder. Akila straightened up and looked around.

"We have to be careful, don't we, Archah?" she whispered to the snake, almost sadly.

Luke grinned at Pry, the light, refreshing breeze on his back. He lent causally on a boulder and pushed his hair back from his face. Reaching out to Pry, he let the ferret clamber up his arm and rest, draped across his shoulders. He looked at Pry's sleeping face, thinking back to the night before.

Luke's eyes glinted in the morning light as he moved away from the bolder. He walked about a mile steadily before coming to a halt. Pry hissed slightly, letting him know someone was near. Luke's hand strayed near his swords hilt by his hip and the other hand reassured Pry. Luke crept around the small lake and looked. He found himself staring at a girl of about 18 and a cobra. The girl was pretty in her own way, and Luke felt drawn to her. He stepped out of the shadows. "Hello, how may I help you?" He said, raising an eyebrow. Her eyes seemed to glow with there own light as he stared into their vivid green depths.

Akila suddenly found herself looking at a stranger who had appeared just in front of her. She noticed that they had a ferret draped around their shoulders and thought that a little odd, but then remembered that she was probably weirder than him in a way because she was the one with a deadly snake coiled around her. The stranger also happened to be rather good-looking,and she felt some strange connection with them. Archah hissed a little but Akile gently petted the snake's head to comfort her, and she became silent again. Akila looked back at the newcomer again.

"I don't know, really. You did just surprise me." she said. "But seeing as we're both here, I might as well introduce myself. My name's Akila, and my cobra friend here is Archah." Archah just moved a little, coiling tighter around Akila's arm.

"So, uh...why are you out here? Not many people come this far out here." she went on, in an attempt at making conversation.

Luke raised his eyebrow. "Well, Daugherty of..Thoth? Or Athena? I'm Lukas and this is Pry" He said, pointing to the ferret. He grinned easily and glanced at the cobra, Archah.
"Nice cobra by the way" He said, not at all surprised.

Luke felt the wind pick up a little and shivered slightly. "There'll be a storm soon, do you have some whereto stay?" He asked, watching the waves of the small pool lap at the shore.

Akila was a little surprised when the stranger guessed that she was the daughter of Thoth or Athena. She stared at him for a moment after he said that, until she realised that only another demigod could possibly have known and then she relaxed. The newcomer introduced himself as Luke, and apparently his ferret's name was Pry. The ferret was very cute, Akila had to admit, but she preferred reptiles and felines to ferrets. When the newcomer also complimented Archah, the black cobra arched her neck in the traditional attack-pose of the species, though she did not hiss, indicating that she was showing off instead of being angry. It was almost like she was saying 'thanks'.

"No, I don't have anywhere to stay." Akila replied. "It's not so bad for Archah...she usually stays outside anyway unless she doesn't feel like it...but usually I just have to endure storms and such." She shivered a little; truth be told, she was often forced to endure storms because of the simple fact that she was a wanderer and thus had no home, but she still hadn't quite gotten used to it.

Luke grinned at the cobra. "Well, I bet tht one doesn't like being cold.." He looked up at the sky, frowning a the grey clouds. "If you want you can crash at my place..That is if your snak wouldn't mind." He mock bowed to Archah.

Pry looked at Archah and smiled. At least it looked like it anyway. As Luke extended his arm for a handshake, Pry scurried down it, standing on Luke's open palm. Pry extended a paw to the new girl, and looked up with big eyes.

Akila smiled at Luke; she found this newcomer to be a nice person. His offer was a kind one, and kindness wasn't something others expressed to her very often. Archah hissed quietly and lowered her head again, coiling down Akila's arm. Akila smiled as the ferret ran down Luke's hand and onto his pal, extending its paw. It looked adorable.

"That's a kind offer. And I think Archah wouldn't mind." she said, smiling. She gently reached out a hand and shook the ferret's outstretched paw with her finger, then shook Luke's hand with her own. Archah made a sound half way between purring and hissing, making Akila laugh again. The breeze picked up and tugged at her hair.

Luke grinned, "Right this way, Pry and I were about to make up a camp, but I can take you somewhere dryer." He joked, adding as an after thought "If that was a yes?" He asked, watching Pry scurry up his arm again.

Akila considered what had just been said to her. Archah tightened her coils around Akila's arm, but not enough to hurt her. Akila gently petted the venomous snake's head and smiled.

"It was a yes." she said, grinning pleasantly. "And I must admit, it might be nice not to get rained on." Archah, amusingly, nodded in response to this comment. She flicked her tongue out a little, almost playfully, making Akila giggle again.

Luke suppressed a smile as it started to rain "Well then, I can't promise you'll be perfectly dry when you get there, but you might warm up a bit" His smile broke out into a grin. Luke tucked Pry away in his hood and held out his hand to help Akila up.

"Warmth would be great, too. I think Archah would appreciate it as well." Akila commented. True, Archah was a cold-blooded animal and thus needed warmth more than humans and mammals did. Archah hissed softly and coiled back up Akila's arm to rest her head on her shoulder. Still smiling brightly, Akila accepted the hand Luke had held out to help her up. It was refreshing to meet someone who seemed to be helpful rather than annoying.

Luke grinned and nodded. "Right this way then, Akila." He walked out of the clearing, towards his low roofed stone and wood hut.

Akila followed Luke towards the hut. Archah arched her neck up again, not to show off this time but just to get a better view of what was ahead of them. When this wasn't sufficient, Archah moved and perched her serpentine body on her head and performed the action again. When the hut came into view Archah moved her head back to Akila's shoulder. Akila kept walking behind her new friend.

"Thanks." she said, with a smile.

The rain poured heavily as Luke opened his door. By the time he got Akila in, they were both soaked. He stroked his chin and gestured at the fireplace. A thread of lightning snaked down and hit the dry wood, through the chimney, and lit a blazing fire. Luke grinned. "Sit" He said, gesturing to a low comfortable chair. He went upstairs and brought out two blanket and one of his old shirts. Blushing slightly, he gently picked up the snake, and settled it into the blanket around Akila's shoulders. He then gave her the shirt and other blanket and blushed more now, sitting opposite Akila.

Akila was well and truly drenched by the time Luke got her into the hut, as was Archah. Evidently the snake was not pleased with being rained on so much, and had coiled a little tighter around Akila to express her displeasure. Akila watched with wide-eyed amazement as a thread of lightning came through the chimney and created a fire in the fireplace. The warmth of the flames was refreshing to feel, and evidently Archah found it pleasant. The snake made no protest as Luke picked her up and then put her back down on the blanket which had been placed around Akila's shoulders. Akila noticed that Luke was blushing and she blushed as well. He had handed her a shirt but she didn't put it on as of yet, just pausing a moment to take in the warmth of the fire.

"That was pretty cool, what you did with the lightning." she commented to Luke. "I can't do that, but I can electrocute someone if they touch me...and if I choose to do so, that is. And I glow in the dark, which is...embarassing."

"How is that embarrassing? I can control weather, sometimes, but mostly, I've got power over storms and lightning. I'm a son of Zeus." He said placing Quill onto a smaller chair with plenty of blankets beside him.

"Son of Zeus? That's interesting. Like you said earlier, I am a daughter of Thoth, god of writing and knowledge." Akila said, as Archah moved from her body and coiled up warmly beside her. "I can electrocute people if I have to, but my main powers are jumping really high and shapeshifting into a Caracal. Oh, and the whole glow-in-the-dark thing. But I can't control that." She gave a gentle smile and petted Archah's head.
