Name-Astrol Age-17 Gender-Male Looks- Dark black hair. Cropped short with short bangs in the front. Vibrant green eyes sparkle with curiosity and pa.ssion that is sometimes well-hidden. Sharp-angled face and narrowed jaw. Wears black jeans and black T-shirts most of the time. Personality-Usually very blunt and shies away from other people. Feels alone in the world as he stays away from the other vampires. Is usually very curious towards the way other people interract, but only observes. Crush-N/A Other-Vampire

She finally found a nice corner in that seemed quiet so she stood there and sipped her lemonade. It seemed like everyone in the party was of age except her. She sighed and wrapped a streamer that was hanging from the roof around her arm. |

Walking around the corner, Astrol found a girl standing alone. He half-turned, knowing if he walked over there, it would be trouble. Cans of beer were flying everywhere from the party, blocking his sense of smell. He took a deep breath, hoping to catch her scent. Only the smell of the alchohol filled his nose. Sighing, he looked at the girl one more time with a quick gaze back. Her pale skin and violet eyes made him curious. Turning back, he approached her.

Star looked up from her lemonade and saw a guy standing close by, looking at her. She sighed. he is probably wondering why I am so pale. Star thought and leaned against the wall. She took another sip of her lemonade and looked at the guy curiously. He was kind of cute, she decided. Why hadn't she seen him before?

Taking a quick glance up, Astrol saw the girl looking at him with a curious sparkle in her eyes. He looked around at the rest of the party. It was getting late. Most people who weren't delirious began to walk back to their cars. The delirious ones had some of the other party-goers take them home. Most walked by, oblivious to his pale skin and dangerous aura. He usually hung around places where he wouldn't be noticed. Where he couldn't be seen, but this girl seemed to have interest in him. Hoping no harm would come to this, he walked over to her.

Star just stared at the guy as he walked over to her. She tried to have no ex
pression on her face. Does he realise what danger he is putting himself in by coming over to me? When he was right near her she said simply, "Hello." She couldn't think of anything else to say. She couldn't smell him, which was weird. Every human she came across smelled like something, but this one didn't. Then she finally realised. He was a vampire too. She jumped at thee thought and spilled some of her lemonade onto the floor. "Sorry..." She said when she saw that the guy's shoes were wet. "So, what's you name?"

"Um Astrol." He glanced up from his now wet shoes. Her face didn't redden at what she had done. She glanced up sheepishly, glancing back down at the frown on his face. She's a vampire, too. He thought. "Don't worry about the shoes. I was going to get a new pair anyway." This was true. He had been on the run for a while now and his sneakers were wearing thin. He looked back at her and saw her gazing at the last people leaving the party.

Star gazed at the last few people leaving before turning back to Astrol. "Nice name... Mine's Star. It's pretty late, isn't it? I'm tired." She faked a yawn and pretended to be tired. Then she walked over to the food table, brushing Astrol's shoulders as she went. "Look at all the wasted food."

pression confuzed. Astrol stood slouched. He had almost forgotten what he had came here for. Seeing this girl, he had been sidetracked. Feeling weak, he walked out the door, hoping to catch a late pa.sser-by. Forgetting Star in his need, he walked on without a good-bye.

Star watched as Astrol left, her mind filled with confusion. She had never met another vampire before, so was very bewildered. In a late reply, she said almost to herself, "The hostess?" Before taking her jumper and heading into the cold night.

Astrol felt himself being followed. Turning around, he saw it was Star. "Why are you following me?" Star stood defiantly, but did not answer. "Oh well." Feeling weaker by the moment Astrol began walking along the trail he had been following before. The cold air swirled around him, causing him to shiver. He had left his jacket at the party. Looking ahead, he spotted a group of teenagers fooling around a small campfire. Drawing back, he motioned for Star to sit next to him in the shelter of a holly bush. She followed. "You know what I need. You're just like me. I need your help. We don't want to attract their attention all at once." He looked at her expectantly.

Star looked at Astrol. "B..Blood?" She said out loud. It was the first time she had said it and she looked around her, to make sure no one was around. "I know where to go, it's no where near here though. Follow me." She stood and started walking to the town. Finally she stopped at a dark alley and motioned Astrol in. "The people that sleep here, they aren't like other people. They don't mind me taking a bit of their blood." Shee kneeled down beside an old man.

The crone was sleeping on the side of the street with a small blanket wrapped around him. He was snoring softly. Astrol sighed at the thought of the sweeter blood he could have had a moment before. Kneeling beside the man, he knelt down next to him. Leaning down, he opened his mouth, exposing his razor sharp teeth. Biting down softly, he felt the warm blood flow from the wound. The burst of flavor in his mouth cause him to moan sofly, but he kept his control. When enough energy had coursed through his body, he regretfully released his hold. Pinching the wound together, the blood dried together to form a scab. Standing up, he saw Star standing a few paces away keeping watch. He walked over to her, licking the last trace of the sweet liquid from his lips.

Star bent at another man and tucked her hair behind her ears before biting the man’s neck. He hardly stirred and when she was finished my wiped her mouth and stood up. “Well, we best be going home now.” She took Astrol’s hand and walked out onto the street. |
