"Oh, Come on Ronald!" Hermione said impaciently, looking quite cross. She couldn't help but be bothered by his slow boarding on the train. "I don't want to miss the train," She added, giving her red-headed friend a stern look.
"I'm coming Hermione," Ron said, rushing up to her. "See, no train missed." Ron rolled his eyes and crept to an empty compartment.
"I wonder where Harry is..." Hermione said thoughtfully as she sat next to the window. She couldn't help but wave at her parents.
"'Mione," Ron said, words muffled by the mouthfull of chocolate frogs. "He'll be here."
And, if right on cue, Harry entered the compartment they were in. "Guess what!" He said excitedly, looking at the pair of his friends. "Sirius is the new DADA teacher!"

((Oh you random little Kinkajou xD.)) Hearing his name, Sirius opened the cart. "Am I being talked abou- oh hello guys!" He chuckled. But yes, he was chosen over Snape to be the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. The look on the Potion's Master face was completely worth it. |

"Oh hi, Siruis!" Hermione said brightly, looking up at the man who had already saved her life 2 times before. "Congradulations on making the new position at Hogwarts!"
"Yeah! I can't wait to see the look on Snape's big nosed face!" Ron added with a laugh.
"Oh shut up, Ron," Hermione snapped. Sure, she didn't like Snape at all... But seriously, you think Dumbledor would give him something after all those years of 'support'.
"Bu... But Hermione!" Ron whined.
"Quite."
Harry couldn't help but chuckle as he sat next to the door, across from Ron. "You can have the window seat, Siruis... I mean, professor." |

Sirius slid into the cart, pushing Harry towards the window. "Nah, you can have it. And it wouldn't do to say things like that about Severus." He chastised, a smile on his face. "He's still your teacher. And we aren't at Hogwarts yet, so don't call me 'professor'."

"Well, first year we had Quirrell, who we didn't learn anything from... And then we had Lockhart." Hermione paused to frown at the name. How she could have ever fancied him stunned her! "Then we had Lupin, who we learned a lot from... Hinkypunks, Red Caps, and Boggarts. Then we had.. Moody... He taught us about... Constant Vigalence." Hermione paused to laugh. Whenever he yelled that, she would just in class. "And that's about it!"

Hermione's eyes widened. Patronuses... That was very difficult, wasn't it? Nothing Hermione couldn't handle though. But, wordless spells? This was going to be a hard year. "Well, I'll have to start practicing!" Hermione said brightly, her face glowing with the fact she knew what they were going to study throughout the year... And others didn't.
