It is the year 2099, and science has been taken to a different league. Robotic technology is now highly advanced and comparatively common, and genetic modification is resulting in some remarkable, and sometimes terrible, experiments. A secret society called W.A.S.P. has taken genetic modification to a whole new level for its own fiendish schemes.
They have kidnapped humans of varying age and put these 'test subjects' through various horrific experiments to fuse their DNA with that of animals. The aim of these experiments? To create an army of superhuman beings in order to take over the world.
So far, though, W.A.S.P. has failed to find a way to control the minds of their test subjects. But a new machine known as a 'Brain Brace' is under development to solve that. Some of the test subjects have managed to escape from the evil society and are now on the run. These escapees have formed a group known as 'The Renegades'...but how long can they keep out of W.A.S.P.'s clutches?
Ok, standard RP rules apply here (respect others, be as literate as possible, etc). A maximum of two characters per person, and your two characters cannot have the same animal DNA. Each character can have one pet. Romance greatly encouraged, as well as some violence. Your character can have the DNA of any animal APART from a mythical/magical or prehistoric creature.

She's brave and fearless, loving adventure, but can be reckless at times. She has a good sense of humour and loves hanging out with friends, though she also enjoys time alone every once in a while. Has a strict anti-bullying policy and will (often physically) punish bullies. Her usual attitude changes drastically around water (i.e. lakes, rivers, the sea, swimming pools); she becomes extremely nervous and fearful, and will do whatever possible to stay out of and get away from water. History: Donna-Marie was abducted on the way home from school with her little brother, Calvin, and taken to W.A.S.P. headquarters for their experiments. Her brother had the DNA of some sort of fish inserted into him, and to see if the experiment had worked as planned the scientists forced him into a deep pool and held him under to see if he could still breathe. Unfortunately, this resulted in the boy drowning. Donna-Marie was deeply affected by this, and gained a lifelong fear of water, helped along by her feline DNA. Eventually she and several other 'test subjects' escaped, and it was Donna-Marie who formed 'The Renegades'. Abilities: Donna-Marie's fingernails sometimes become claws that she can slash opponents with. She has superior eyesight in both daylight and nighttime, and greatly-enhanced agility. Very good at climbing trees. Crush: OPEN Other: Her brother was the first casualty of W.A.S.P.'s experiments. She is a leader of The Renegades. Her pet is an adolescent female Mountain Lion/Cougar called Cal, in honor of Donna-Marie's dead brother.

She despises any social activity, unless the person she is socialising with shares her sadistic nature. She enjoys inflicting pain on others and takes pleasure in others' fears; her favourite thing of all is 'to hear the irresistibly sweet sound if someone screaming in terror, or begging for mercy'. It is extremely difficult to get to her heart. Be warned; angering her may be the last thing you ever do... History: Alicia has always had a very tough life; as an orphan who lived on the streets and suffered a lot of abuse from others, she was abducted by W.A.S.P. and injected with the DNA of the Raven. She adapted to the DNA of the Raven very quickly, and would have been the first test subject to test the 'Brain Brace' had she not escaped. Alicia did not join The Renegades, but decided to follow them at a distance. Abilities: Alicia can fly, and has superb agility in the air. Her feet are no longer human; they are the feet of a Raven, complete with long, sharp talons. Crush: OPEN Other: She is not a member of The Renegades. Her pet is a female Golden Orb Weaver spider called Tula; Tula is the approximate size of a dinner plate.

Animal DNA: White Tiger images
Looks: images Replace the blonde hair with white hair with black streaks. He also has tiger ears and a striped tail. He also has three lines on each cheek.
Personality: Joseph is very cocky and self confident. He does look at his mutation as a curse, but rather a blessing. He is mostly an easy going guy who thinks he doesn't need to be alert. He does like making friends as much as he like pranking people, but if you get on his good side, he'll be more than willing to protect you.
History: He has lived on the streets most of his life, but won't accept help from anyone. He had some trouble escaping, since he wanted to help others escape too. He was the last one out, considering he got caught several times trying to help the other subjects out. He was 6 when he was taken from his mother to be tested and 16 when he got out. He hasn't seen her since. He later joined the Renegades. (If thats alright.)
Abilities: He has incredible reflexes, with the feline DNA, and great agility. He also has abnormal strength. He has Larger K-9 teeth that are used for ripping through flesh. And lastly, his nails can extend and form a point as sharp as a knife.

Grey Wolf Looks:
Jac stands at 8 ft and has a semi muscular build. He has wolf canines, top and bottoms. His eyes are wolf eyes and he has short wolf claws coming from his knuckles.
Personality:
True to his grey wolf DNA, Jac has a very secretive personality. He hates to travel alone, and actually often acts like a dog. He doesn't speak, relying on short barks, howls and facial expressions. He is completely and utterly loyal to one person, but he hasn't decided who yet. Jac can be brave, if he wants to, but even if he doesn't, Jac will not back down from a fight. No matter how bad the odds are.
History:
Jac was the first ever experiment, and the scientists actually got the amounts of DNA wrong. They put in too much Wolf DNA, which started to take over his human. He went out of control, and made there most wanted list four times in a row when he escaped. W.A.S.P Never admitted his creation, so most other experiments don't know who or what he is. The reason, other than the wrong amount of DNA, that he doesn't speak is because of the trauma he was put through.
Abilities:
Jac has unmatched hearing, site, smell and speed. He can run at the top speed of a fast wolf for over 4 miles and can lift a largish truck. More will come later/

Personality: Cora is a very mellow person. Contrary to her panther DNA, she doesn't enjoy being alone. So much so that it is almost like she fears it, although she tries her hardest not to make that fear noticeable. She can often be found in a nearby tree, (if one is accessible) possibly keeping a silent eye on who ever, or whatever may be nearby. Cora is not a fan of conflict. If one arises, she will most likely try her hardest to make sure it is resolved one way or another. She enjoys humor, and may make a few "wisecracks" from time to time, These are always meant to be harmless. She very rarely goes into what is known as her "shutout mode." You can find out what that is by reading the history below. History: Cora had a fairly normal family. When she was 15, one of her close friends commited suicide via pills. (hope that is allowed on res.... if not, please tell me! xD) After the death of her closest friend, Cora began to shut out reality. Surprisingly, this ended up coming in handy. A few months after the death, she was taken by the W.A.S.P. She would often shut herself out reality while there, instead of witness the experiments done to those around her that often failed. This resulted in a very broken memory of her life when she was in W.A.S.P's grasp. At age 16, she had the DNA of a black leopard successfully planted into her. How's that for your sweet sixteen gift? Corra definetally wished it came with a return policy. After almost two years, she was freed by some of the other test subjects. Abilities: Feline-ish fangs, is able to see long distances at night, scales trees with great ease. ((Sorry they are abilities already in use. I couldn't think of any other awesome feline abilities xD))

Name: Marie Vinyard Experiment Number (optional): 178213 Gender: Female Age: 18 Animal DNA: Spirit Bear Looks: She has large creamy brown ears along with a creamy colored bear tail. Her eye's are hazle because of her Spirit Bear mutation. Her feet are acculy bear feet.. Not human... Personality: Marie is a daring girl who is willing to check out anything, and almost do anything. She is rather sweet, but don't misjudge her by her temperary sweetness. History: Marie was 16 when she was captured, they never put her to use till now. She was always spending her time in a dark corner and would rarely eat anything they'd give her. She still wonder's how she's alive still, she tells herself she should have died... Abilities: She can hear from where she's standing, all the way to a mile away [when she makes herself...] with her large creamy-ish brown ear's. ((Practice makes perfect. Well, that and making yourself promise not to look at other peoples drawings. Whenever I do, I end up going into some sort of artist depression and can't draw for at least a week. Self loathing, "Why can't I be as awesome as them!?!" (The artist is usually about 4-20 years older than myself) xD......I should probably stop spamming right about now xP
