Intro

In a far far kingdom long long ago, of the very numerous and curious species and races that roamed the countryside, one very strange one began to pop up; Nekos. Very normal looking people, save for their cat ears and tails and whiskers and, oh, the list goes on and on. But not all looked the same; really, Nekos were quite different from each other. Some were more catlike than others, had bigger ears or fluffier tails; diversity was abundant!

However...
Many people of the countryside did not like the Neko population, and although this was very fickle, considering they were very well accustomed to dragons and elves and such, but these  strange cat-people were seemingly too much for them to handle. Yet, as the numbers of the nekos grew, migrating from whatever strange and far-off place they hailed from, they were slowly (but gingerly) accepted into the work forces of the kingdom,  bought/built homes, and some even became knights.

But what is truly interesting about this story, is that the younger members of the royal family have become rather attached to these Nekos, something considered very taboo for people so high-ranking and 'proper.' It is  even rumored that some of them wish to take these nekos as their personal guards, or even to wed them. How rediculous!  And then, on the other side of the spectrum, there are those people that wish to be rid of the Nekos, and those Nekos who wish to be rid of the other people! Tensions are running high, and something is bound to errupt very soon.

On the days she is not busy, and those are rather rare indeed, she will read poetry, some of which her husband has written for her, or paint her own little creations; she is very skilled at art, as well as singing. Despite this, though, one would be surprised to know Analeisia is a very skilled fighter, although she prefers peace.  }

{ It may sound a bit blunt, but Ana despises stupidity. Stupid people, ideas, just...general things. Senseless violence is another irksome matter, but she could also rank that with...stupidity. Fire makes her nervous, as well as lightning, as the two often go together. She is a bit OCD, and therefore, clutter tends to get to her if it becomes terrible, and people who don't follow orders, especially when they have been given the order twice, can prove to be very frustrating. She may be a kind soul, but life as a Queen does have a tendancy to spoil a woman.}

A Bit About Me...
{ One may think of it as a bit strange for a half-elf to be married as a Queen, but as it happened, quite some time ago the Elves and Men did not get along so very well, and there was a bit of a war. To keep the peace, a treaty was signed, and Analeisia's mother (an elf) married a human, and gave birth to her, the princess, who was married off to her current husband, as princesses often do. She is a kind and happy soul, very spritely and absolutely adores her family, especially her husband. When the two first met, though, she was not so certain of him, but the time has come that she dislikes being away from him, and is heartbroken about his illness. Ana keeps pets in the house almost always, but her favorite is a big white lion with the intelligence of a man. As for the Neko population, she isn't quite sure what to make of it. The people of the kingdom seem to dislike them, despite their having done no wrong; however, if the vast population has a problem, she will have no choice but to take actions against the Nekos.    }

A Bit About Me...
She's given quite a bit of leeway as she is the middle daughter and despite her father's level could never really expect a high-level marriage offer. Also, because of her natural intelligence and flair for bartering, her father hopes that she will step into his shoes as a merchant.

Appearance

Karo can only be described as short and wiry, perfect for the ranged combat her weapon allows her. Though born rather pale, the long days in the sun working about the ship has darkened her skin to a middling gold or tan. Paired with her short and slightly curly white hair, Karo does strike a stark image compared to some of her other shipmates. Her face is angular and has a 'pixie' look to it, with high cheekbones and sharp features. Dark blue eyes under smoky black eyelashes are bright and inquisitive. Despite the fact that Karo is very short, standing at only about 5'1", she has very long and graceful limbs that are just slightly bulky due to the amount of muscle she has picked up from working around the ship.

True to her simple nature, Karo wears conservative clothing, namely black cotton leggings topped with a slightly longer than waist length cream tunic. This is tied with a plain brown belt buckled with a small silver disc inscribed with a small feather. Karo's only piece of jewelry is a spearbird-feather earring that hangs in her right ear.

Tanair was obviously born to some family, but abandoned at a young age. Due to his affinity to animals he was adopted by the older horsedocter and allowed to work in the royal stables with the king's stallions, who were known to be notoriously difficult to handle.

Tanair is fairly tall, standing at about 6'4" ft and has pale skin. His hair is a scruffy black mop topped with two orange cat ears. He is quite thin though has a wiry musculature. Dislikes: Girly people...ugh. The colour pink...it ranks right up there with roadkill splattered all over the side of your cart.  And finaly those people that just cant go with the flow, the haters. why cant people just shut up and keep their nasty oppinions to themselves, wether it be about Nekos or female knights or anything else!

Personality: Keia is the most un-girly girl you will find around town. Wanted to be a knight since childhood, and since then she hasn't heard the end of it. 'Why, why why! girls cant be knights, what buisness do you have on a horse!' so on and so on.... she actually does like people more than public the public rumors let on. She is sick of the Queen's politics about the Nekos and just wishes the population would let the subject go. There are more problems to be taken care of than the petty ones lying under your nose. her oppinion is that people should shut up and get over it already.

A Bit About Me...
Ever since she was a child she has been back and forth between parents non of them wanting full responsibility for her. Sometimes she would be back and forth between reletives too. This is how she started to lose faith in love and family.She has never had anyone close to her or anyone that understands her. Since she was in an unstable family she decited to work at the castle get a job and a room (?). So she moved out of her multiple houses at 15. At the castle she then learns about Nekos more and decides that she likes them or was interested in them unlike her parents.
