Plot:

A group of teenagers have been cast away from society because of what they are; Shape shifters. They must learn on their own and through each other's experiences, since they were cast out onto the streets. They are basically homeless and must depend on one another to survive. They grow up together and beleive one another is family but all of that is about to change. Some of them are traitors. Those people loose all trust in the others and simply hand them over to laboratories to be tested upon and caged like animals. Will you remain loyal to the goup or turn your back and betray your only friends?

Rules:

3. The shape shifters are allowed ONE animal. It is like their signature. They have special contact with that one animal meaning they can talk and control them.
4. Please do not copy another's animal signature. Try to come up with your own animal.

Persona: Mizuki is a very quiet boy. He does as he is told and is scared to disobey. He is very curious and has the potential to ask a lot of questions. He wont' really talk back unless something really ticks him off.

Past: He doesn't know much about it. He was given up by his parents at the age of five and was raised by adoptive parents. He stayed with them until they found out he was a shape shifter, therefore kicking him out.

Other: He has the tendency to gnaw on things in his sleep, such as a pillow or whatever is near him. It's a bad habit and yes he knows it, but can't do anything about it. He's gotten in trouble before for leaving marks on his adoptive mother when he fell asleep in her arms.

Small bare feet pounded the cold pavment as Mizuki slipped into an abandon house slipping to the ground hugging his knees. "I didn't mean to" he whispered peeking up through the window watching two armed men run by. He let out a relaxed sigh and sunk back to the floor looking around the abandon house. 'My home' He thought to himself holding out his hand and dropping a small peice of bread, watching a small grey mouse apear and start to nibble on it.

This caused Mizuki to smile warmly as he petted the small mouse. "It's rough but easy at the same time. No one can see me when I hide in the walls" he told the mouse. A frown fell upon his face as he glanced back out the window. "Unless you get caught with mouse ears and a tail" he sighed hating the fact that he felt something was wrong with him. Not all the time when he shifted into a human did he loose some of his mouse appearances. On occations his ears and tail would stay dispite how much he tried to get rid of them. He swore it was a genetic defect but then again wasn't everything about him a defect?

"Run," she yelled at the fox as the man chased them. The fox ran quietly beside her and she changed into her fox form. The man pulled out a gun and blasted bullets towards them. Sara and the fox nimbly evaded them. They slinked into an alley and took out their prize, a sandwich. Sara had some money, but only enough to buy herself an extra pair of clothes now and then.

Sara changed to her human form, but her fox tail somehow remained for a minute or two before disappearing. "This is what we have, but I want you to have it." She pushed the sandwich towards the fox and smiled. The fox looked at her much like a confused dog. The fox gently took the sandwich from her hands and began eating it.

Sara heard some random laughing and stuck her head out of her hiding spot to see what the commotion was. She saw a girl running towards her alley with some men after her. When she reached her alley, Sara grabbed her arm and yanked her into the alley.

"Were those men..." Even she didn't know what they were, but they were evil.

Mizuki perked his ears forward hearing a female's voice before gun shots. He slunk down under the window, pressing his back firmly against the wall. "Crap" he pouted running to the side door knowing good and well they had found someone else, maybe somone like him. His light blue eyes focused on the small mouse eating the peice of bread before sighing. "I have to go now. I'll come back for you" he smiled exiting out of the door. His ears possitioned forward trying to hear where the female had went but couldn't tell.

He snuck to the edge of the house only to observe Yukita angering two men who were trying to grab her. He quickly made his ears and tail disapear before stepping out in view watching the men trying to understand the situation. "Maybe" he whispered to himself setting his blue gaze on the girl running away laughing for no reason. 'Was she the one who was being shot at?' he thought but immediatly reconized that she wasn't. The men didn't have guns in their hands, or not that he could notice. "Hey!" Mizuki almost yelled but had to clasp his palm over his mouth when noticing girl was pulled to the side. Wimpering softly he ran towards the direction the girl disapeared to trying to avoid contact with the two men. Maybe they would think he was an orphan, after all his ears and tails were hidden and no longer in sight.
